Located in a quiet street in Paddington. Very honest and decent meals. Loved it! I had a croque monsieur and it was the best I’ve had in Sydney.
Great coffee, fantastic food and very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended for a great price.

Absolutely love Morris! A hidden gem tucked behind the bustle of Oxford St and COFA/UNSW art and design. Staff are lovely and the food is always fresh and vibrant. Despite living in the inner west, I always make the effort to make it in for breakfast when I get the chance. Gorgeous vibe, great cookies, exceptional muffins, hearty sandwiches, no boring salads... the list goes on!
Always friendly service, great coffee, amazing fruit toast - not the old boring raisin bread but something entirely different- and best muffins I've ever had. Very happy and will be a regular
One of the best cafe in Paddington. Great coffee and great breakfast. Best avocado on toast , nice and innovative recipes. Best cookies ever !!! If you go there you definitely need to try one. They are nice and quiet. I would recommend to go and sit outside rather than inside where it gets be a bit noisy. Morris is my favorite café and I would love to see them open on Sunday so I can go more often :)
This is the bestest cafe. The food and people here are wonderful. I have stuck to the salads as they are so hard to go past - fresh, heathy and innovative but being a bit colder today I tried the veg option of the Marrakech bowl. It was wholesome and absolutely delicious, making future decisions hard...yummy salads, delicious Marrakech bowl or ...did I mention the unique and unbelievably addictive soups ??? And lots more ...
This is one of my favourites in Sydney, a quiet but gladly hidden cafe in Darlinghurst. In close proximity to COFA/UNSW art and design. When I was here there were a tonne of people ordering takeaway coffee, but myself and a friend sat down and the server quickly came over. I myself orders a milk hot chocolate - could not fault it. Warm, creamy and absolutely tasted delicious. The food was a simple bacon, housemade pickles and toasted sourdough. The sourdough was slightly overcooked but the food was impeccable, all the tastes in the meal were bold and delectable. My friend got toast, mushroom, ricotta, poached eggs and Autumn greens. Portion size was large and super tasty. Very satisfied with the meal.
Nice coffee. Prana Chai has lots of flavour. Avocado, Seasonal Heirloom Tomatoes, Baby Herbs, Feta, Vinno Cotto, Sunflower Seeds, Pepitas, Lemon on Sourdough ($18) was very yummy.
Love the menu here; interesting Japanese and Nordic influences and quality food! Quiet, leafy, lots of outdoor tables. Thumbs up 🤎
We had a beautiful brunch at Morris. There is great indoor and outdoor seating. The ingredients are fresh and the meals are delicious. The coffee was tasty also. The staff were lovely.
Halloumi brekkie burger is very generous with the amount of cheese. Love the sauce of the slaw. Salad dressing lacks a bit seasoning though.
Very particular with my ice long blacks. This one hits really nice! Highly recommend within the area :)

I might have mentioned twice or thrice how much I enjoyed the dining atmospher to my partner as we sat out on the quiet street corner just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of Dowling and Oxford.
Originally came because I was intrigued by the photos of the Gangnam burger, but alas they haven’t served that bad boy in over two years. Not to worry, the tuna melt with an egg (+$3) thrown on for good measure was a fantastic consolation meal. The chili flakes and pickles complemented quite well—one of the best tuna melts I’ve had in the past two years!
Partner got the eggplant omelette which was surprisingly filling. The mozzarella mixed into the egg plus extra whipped feta on top made for a very savory serving that was difficult not to devour too quickly.
Both meals came with a side salad of mixed greens, possibly some rocket, and pickle shavings on top—not a fan of the extra pickles but my partner obliged.
We paired these with a matcha latte for her and a flat white for me. They serve Oatly here, for $1 extra, so we stuck with ol’ reliable dairy milk. Very well made on both fronts.
The outdoor seating (about 4-5 tables) made this place dog-friendly and since the street isn’t so busy I wasn’t too worried about our Buffy eating any rubbish off the floor. We were actually seated a table away from another puppy, very cute! A number of dogs out for a walk happened by so the sniff-and-greets were a-plenty. We rewarded Buffy for her patience as we ate by heading over to the nearby Moore Park West afterwards so she could run around off lead. So much room for activities!
Oh, but they never offered any water for our dog. 🤷🏽
