Japanese BBQ at Gyuzou bbq is filled with top quality cuts of premium wagyu beef, the freshest seafood and an assortment of sides. WOW was the word repeating out of me as the lovely staff kept bringing out platter after platter of fantastic produce for us to cook over the grill. The wagyu especially was super juicy and thick cut so we were able to get it beautifully medium rare- I mean, look at that marbling!

Located just up from the Chinese Gardens on the corner of Liverpool St, it is a must visit for an epic spread!

Attending Gyuzou for lunch with a group of friends and was absolutely blown away by the insane variety of the menu and the sheer quality.
First thing to note, this is not located directly on Sussex st, you need to turn right and follow the building around as entry is at the rear off Liverpool St.
Back to the food; the thing that really stood out to me was the generous portions of meal but also the quality and thickness. The sashimi was sliced thick along with the bbq meats and the quality was spot on. We enjoyed a big array of food and every piece delivered on taste. Cannot wait to return.

Wagyu beef on rock salt, yes you read that right!
The food on offer here was divine, fresh sashimi, scallops and sushi and prime cuts of meat all using premium ingredients, this place has it all.
I highly recommend the Japanese BBQ Yakiniku for any special occasion, located up the road from the Chinese gardens on the corner of Liverpool and Sussex Street

Great Japanese BBQ. Got the discounted voucher from Groupon with great value. The wagyu beef is fatty but tasty. Love their salmon sashimi as well.

Very affordable Japanese Yakiniku buffet in the CBD however, always understaffed and orders will get missed. Meat quality for premium buffet is good, but tuna sashimi wasn’t fresh. Best to make a booking to get a nice table otherwise they’d try to squeeze you in between people on their large tables

The meat was good and the ice cream was great, service was not as bad as mentioned in other reviews, most of the food came out quickly. The cold noodles were absolutely amazing!
Only point was that even though the food is good, it definitely isn’t worth 55$. There’s another bbq right next door which is almost as good and at 30$

Who can say no to "All you can eat Yakiniku"?

At 55 dollars per head for 90mins this place is worth every dollar. Delicious and good quality meats with great side and if you want you can get unlimited soft drinks for $5.

Well worth a visit and decent price, they also have a la carte menu so you don't have to stuff your face.

This BBQ was very memorable. The only problem I had with it was that no matter how many times I ordered something, they would never bring it out. Along with the ridiculous price for an adult, shocking. You will also get a time limit when eating here, as well as having to pay more if you want something. Overall it was a fun experience and the staff were super friendly, explaining to us what were the foods we ordered. There is such a great range of food so try it out!!

One of the better bbq places in the city. The ordering system is very convenient - you can use your phone to order via a QR code. The staff are very attentive. It's overall a nice experience. Food is good quality and came out relatively quick.

The meat was of very good quality. The seafood is fresh as well! Service is fast and staff is indeed attentive. The way to order is by scanning a code and order through your phone which I found very effective. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed an all you can eat dinner!

One of the authentic wagyu buffet bbq in Sydney! The meat that had been served was fresh! Iike the ambiance, it is not that smoky. They used a good quality of griller as well that will make the cooking moments good! The customer service is top-notch as well! Definitely, I will be back.
