Having been at the uni there for a few years now I can say that this place isn’t too bad to visit for a coffee or morning tea. There is a good amount of staff there so the service is quick and friendly. The coffee is pretty decent and there is a good selection from the menu. It’s a pretty decent size cafe as well so there is always ample seating.
Coffee is fabulous - the flat white is consistently great quality. Plus they use Bonsoy (the best soy milk for coffee!). Service is friendly and I am always greeted with a smile. Have had the rice paper rolls a few times and they were yum. Decor is clean but not inspiring. Only in Sydney for a week and will miss this place when I'm gone.
My favourite coffee shop that makes the best cappuccino! As a UTS student I do have to run from one building to another, in middle of that running I somehow manage to grab some delicious food from this place. Try the Pho and the beef sandwich it's legitimately mouth watering 😋
And if you're lucky enough you might even get the opportunity to eat their famous egg salad(god it sells fast)! Highly recommend place for everyone especially students.
The rice paper rolls were nice as well as the sauce. I bought the chicken and prawn one and both of them are fresh just the paper rolls were a bit thick for me

All the food is prepared fresh daily. Their laksas and beef vermicelli dishes are pretty good value for less than $9. Coffee from cafe 10 is also pretty good.
Best Banh mi in Ultimo too.
Fresh, great variety and friendly service. Great local cafe, does a roaring trade. Excellent service, very friendly staff. Lots of options, including usual cafe food, salads, sandwiches, pastries etc. also a great range of Vietnamese foods - fabulous soups and rice paper rolls a speciality. Reasonable prices, best in the area for breakfast and lunches.
Great staff and wonderful variety of fab food. Chicken pho, rice paper rolls and chicken roll are my favourites.

While it used to be somewhere I walked by and never thought twice about, I am now forever grateful that I decided to take a chance on this little spot. They are very covid safe. You never enter the restaurant and they bring your food outside. For $10 (all dishes) you can try a variety of fresh and delicious Vietnamese dishes. While it is not the best food I’ve ever had, it’s excellent for the $10 price, good portions, friendly staff, and covid safe environment has me here at least once a week. I love the vermicelli salad with vegetable spring rolls and my partner loves the beef pho. Everything I’ve tried is great.
Don’t sleep on Cafe 10 mates.
Tried beef pho and vietnamese coffee here for the first time and it tasted AMAZING! Look forward to try the sandwiches here! very affordable for me as a student! The staff are quick and friendly! 100% recommend
Vietnamese iced coffee is the absolute best. I always crave it. Vermicelli salad is great as well. Cheap, efficient/fast service, friendly, lots of vegetarian options and a diverse range of food. Love it!!!
I had their lunchtime pho for $10. The service was big, but the beef slices were a bit tough. Good deal though for a work lunch. Will come back to try their laksa and rice paper rolls.

The food here is freshly made and served in a timely manner. Pricing is reasonable and is a nice place to visit just before classes.

Café 10 has been my daily stop for morning coffees, and random lunches and snacks for more than 8 1/2 years, as well as occasional take-home dinners. Their upbeat, super-fast baristas serve great coffee with an efficiency not yet found anywhere else (and I live in the centre of coffee-land at Surry Hills!). My work colleagues and I find ourselves making negative mental comparisons when buying coffee from other places that, inevitably, can never match up to the efficiency of Café 10 baristas. When Café 10 is forced to close over the Dec/Jan university semester-breaks, we are left to scrounge around for coffee that is not consistently as good as Café 10, nor made anywhere near as quickly.
Cafe 10 has a daily changing menu of very tasty, hot food – cooked fresh in their onsite kitchen every morning (Asian-infusion plus pastas and an array of other non-Asian dishes). Pho's, congees, laksas are highly recommended. Lots of fantastic gourmet bread-roll options, as well as delicious banh-mi rolls. Their daily-made rice-paper rolls are also very popular. Additionally, their kitchen staff will cook food to order such as fish and chips, burgers, etc. etc.They also provide catering to nearby buildings.
The café itself is large, spacious and very clean. The staff are super-friendly and, with their regular customers, can frequently be heard in friendly repartee.
Today my organisation is relocating from UTS Building 10 at 235 Jones Street Ultimo to suburbia. We are looking at a future without the friendly, efficient service of Café 10 staff and their wonderful coffee and food every day. Serves a wide range of dishes from pho to beef sandwich. The noodle selection is ok, but you can find a restaurant that does it better for each item. Sandwiches range from good to excellent. But above all everything on the menu is competitive priced.
