One of the best places to go for authentic, freshly cooked pasta. The dine in price is $20 but if you get takeaway, it's a lot cheaper. It's been a while since my last visit, but the portion size seemed a lot smaller than I remembered.

Macchiato - 2.75/5
The macc was presented nicely and the glass lukewarm to the touch. However, it was a little on the watery side with a teensy bit too much milk and milk froth (standard for a macc should be 2tsp, this looked like 3tsp). Once you taste the bottom (where all the pure espresso untouched by milk lies) - smoky notes dominate the palate. Other flavors were a lot more subtle - finished it before I could discern!
Flat White - 4/5
The FW on the other hand, was a great pleasure to drink. The milk was perfectly textured and proportioned to the coffee. The previously smoky notes complimentarily accented the textured milk, adding a bit of much needed edge.
Good amount of milk froth on top that sends you floating among pillowy clouds. It also insulates the coffee/milk mixture underneath from the cold biting morning air. This flat white undoubtedly beats the one at my previous go-to joint near uni (Chambers Coffee).
Just wish that their house blend had richer, deeper, and more complex flavors.
Will be back to try the food!
I called in here for a coffee today after not being here for a very long time. The friendly service is the best in Sydney, with a very warm welcome from all the staff.

Came here for breakfast at 6am. Ordered two soy latte and skinny latte were fabulous. Service is extremely great. Gluten free break with scramble egg is highly recommend as breakfast.
Lunch on Friday. Quite full but service was good and curtious. Prices have increased slightly. Ordered the penne bosciola which was nicely done with amazingly sweet caramelised onion. With a table of 18, splitting the bill was no problem. We could pay separately via card or cash - too easy. Would return. Scored 4.5 due to the serving size being on the smaller side.

Came here for lunch with friends. The location is right next door to Met Centre on Margaret Street. There is coffee place/cafe next door as well as the bar/restaurant.
The menu is quite simple for lunch where they have a few starters, some mains, and mostly pasta with a few daily specials. I was hoping to have the gnocchi with carbonara sauce however that can only be done with the penne or linguine only. I ended up going for Linguine Carbonara. It was delicious and the pancetta added a nice crunch and saltiness to the dish. The caramelised onions added a lovely sweetness to the meal. Sauce coated the pasta well without being too heavy. My friends also enjoyed their dishes a lot too. Service was friendly and the meals came out literally after we placed our orders so top points for that.
Cappuccino ($4) uses Schibello Caffe coffee which was good with a full-bodied flavour. Cool coffee art as well. Apparently the barista has over 20 years experience and when he has the time he tries to serve up something creative for the customers. Nutella filled doughnut ($4.50) is housemade and pretty impressive. Texture was good and not too firm inside. Plenty of Nutella filling and the added decadence of chocolate on top. I'm keen to try the strawberry jam filled one now.
At Panzerotti during lunch, be prepared to yell at your dining companion if you are lunching with a friend. It might not hurt to add some sound dampening but the problem is that half the restaurant is outdoors, I’m sure there’s a creative solution for the excessive noise level. What about the food? It’s pasta, done simply and done well. Each table have their own little bowl of parmesan so you can make yours extra cheesy, which we do. Mwah!
Located in the middle of the city area, this place is very busy with corporate clientele during lunch service. I picked up gnocchi with roasted chicken in napolitana sauce. The gnocchi was cooked al dente, to my liking. The sauce was well seasoned and the roasted chicken was tender. In all, a good deal for lunch.
Had a work lunch here with 8 people all up. Service was really friendly and food came out fast. Tasting plate entree was the highlight and a big serving too. Pasta was good and serving size not too big. All up great lunch.
Proper Mediterranean food. Delicious Shakshuka, delicious coffee. Place has a nice vibe. Friendly staff. Recommended!
Great Italian sausage gnocchi with the right amount of chilli!
Great place for a quick and delicious pasta dish - pasta is to die for here. Coffee is fast but nothing to write home about. Take away coffee in the morning is super quick but rarely good. Slow down a few seconds per order and get it right. All the waiters are gorgeous and fun!
This is probably my favourite cafe in CBD. the guys running it are fantastic, great service. They do the best breakfast dishes. The salads and pastas are fantastic. Their coffee is fab. Love this place. It's pretty much my go to every time i am in town.
