The food here is pretty good and price wise it's quite fair.
The food was $10.50 for a mixed bag.
Service is always really good and workers are friendly.
Not a long wait for the food either which is good for the lunch time rush.
Standard fish n chip shop. Same bloke has been running it for nearly ten years, he's very nice. Good crispy chips, scallops, standard seafood takeaway. Giving it 5 stars as it doesn't deserve to be rated only 2.5!
In a world of paying far too much money for terrible quality and trivial portions, I'm happy to say that this shop stood out in a positive light. It's no 5 star restaurant, but a solid fish and chip shop with decent portions for the price. Left me feeling more than satisfied and will definitely return. Bonus points for gluten free batter.

Still thinking about the meal 3 hours later - loving the calamari. I have heard some less than average reviews about this place, but my dad was visiting from interstate and he wanted a decent meal (he's a meat and veg kind of guy). thought i'd give this place a go after walking past it for 2 years always wondering.
We ordered a large chips, 3 pieces of battered barra and 6 pieces of calamari (to serve 3 adults and a child, $33). First off, i called through the order at 8:20 pm when they close at 8:30 (yes i was that painful customer!!) the man on the end was happy to take my order and said it would be ready in 10 minutes.
This was the best take away meal i have had in a while! The chips were 10/10 perfect, so fluffy and non-greasy. Same goes for the barra, definitely uses good quality fish here. Delicately flavoured and crispy battered but again non-greasy. Pleasantly surprised by the calamari too! it can be a bit touch and go, it's always a 50/50 chance you are going to get rubber bands, but the calamari here was D-licious and not chewy. Either they use fresh or good quality frozen.
Will definitely be going back!
Friendly local. A good dose of old fashioned fish n chips. Good vibes and friendly service.
