Very polite and friendly greeted lovely when hubby and I came in. We have never had Persian food before so we asked our waitress what she recommended my hubby had the Bakhtiari Kabab which comes with rice, grilled tomatoe & red onion slices, I had Juje Kabab which we both said was lovely. Firstly we started with the trio persian dips different but nice. Also on Tuesday they offer a free salad bar. We will be returning. Thank you so much š
Went there on Easter Sunday night. They were quite busy and under staffed but still the floor staff were trying hard to get to everyone, and were doing their best. We had a dips platter which was really nice. After that we had kubideh kabab, Soltani kabab and Dizi Sangi. All of the dishes were really yummy and the meats were very tender. The owner/manager was also very friendly. We had a great night and will definitely be back.

This was my first time trying Persian food. And overall i can say that my experience with the food and the food was satisfactory.
Loved the hospitality of the waiters and the ambiance was pretty authentic. The little details out here and there like the line of tea pots, the section of desserts, the music instruments hanging on the wall were different from the others.
We ordered
Makhsoos kebab, it had minced lamb and marinated chicken skewers and we ordered it with part rice, grilled tomato and part salad shirazi. Loved the minced lamb and the cook ok it, the marinated chicken was tender and moist but the salad shirazi felt mediocre.
Bakhtiari kebab, it had a combination skewer of lamb fillet and marinated chicken with onions and capsicum with rice and grilled tomato. The chicken was the same as the plate before but the lamb was in chunks, it didnāt feel that great as it wasnāt aa tender as I thought it would be.
The grilled tomatoes on both the plates was a big no no. Didnāt like the taste of the burnt skin at all.
Also, they have a free salad bar, a good amount of collection to choose from, which just took my heart away.
Highly recommended by Persian friendsā¦food is good, slight spiced , tasty .First time try salty youghrt drink , such a good match with meat dishesā¦the dessert is average , too sweet for me( I am Chinese)ļ¼ but my Persian friends love itļ¼ will go back try something else later ć

The chicken skewers were good and the lamb was amazing!!! I would devour the lamb itself, it was amazing.

A great place to enjoy traditional Persian cuisine. The ambience is spectacular and the food great too. Enjoyed a lot of traditional delicacies like Persian bread with Mast-O-Khiar (Yoghurt mixed with finely chopped cucumber), Bakhtiari kebab (A kabab which is a combination of grilled Lamb fillet, marinated chicken, capsicum, & onions on a skewer Served with rice & grilled tomato), Dizi Sangi (Is a mixture of boneless lamb, tomato, potato, dried lime, chickpeas & special sauce served with bread. Ask your host how to enjoy this unique dish), dhoogh and sweets. Definitely going back to try more dishes.
Lovely place with authentic food, tried the joojeh kebab with butter rice and it was just amazing. The place, the ambience and the staff all are welcoming. It has ample seating for big groups and has tons of parking space. Great for a family of friends dinner out. :)
Went to AliQapu for dinner with a group of friends and colleagues and everyone agreed that the food was great! We loved the little dips with the flatbread and the green rice was so aromatic and delicious. The saffron ice cream is to die for! I'd go back just to have the ice cream again! The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience places you in a restaurant in the heart of Persia. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Was introduced by le boyfriend and colleague. 16km drive faraway from our place. Thank God it was a good dinner and worth the drive. I must say, the rice portion is huge for one person. If you love Persian rice and big meal, this is a good place to go plus with free salad bar on Tuesday to Thursday nights.
Le boyfriend ordered Zereshk Polo and we were amazed by the huge portion. He was struggling to finish the rice as the meat was gone by then so I offered some of my share. I had the Makhsoos Kebab; combination of both skewer of mince lamb and chicken. Pretty much the same I had at Hafez minus the green chilli. Well seasoned and I must say the good side of this place is that everything is free range and grass fed with no added hormones. Thus, their meat is the juicer side and I like it. Comparing with Hafez, this place gave dates on the side for the Persian tea, displays of Persian desserts and free salad bar. Lots of differences and itās really depending on individual preferences and liking.
We spent about $86 for 2 rice meal dishes and Persian tea (per person, no pot) with free salad on side. The place is quite big with outside sitting (good sisha place during summer) and if you come with friends/family and enjoy the outdoor with Persian food and environment, this is a good place to go to. Definitely will come again if we have the mood of driving that far. I would love to give them 4.5 star rating;)

Professional customer service and experience is what separates this Persian restaurant from other Persian restaurant in Australia. Starting from the food as you may be wanting to know as it's what a cultural Persian food is like which is hard to explain with words, so a visit would be worthwhile. When entered in the restaurant a sense of dĆ©jĆ vu is felt and nostalgia if you're Persian and if not, the restaurant is filled with traditional and historical visuals and some instruments that represents the culture. Not to mention their selection of drinks and my favourite which is their wine which symbolises Persian heritage on its labels.
Food was amazing and the staff was kind and helpful. The atmosphere really helped in making you feel as if you were in Persia.

Food is up there with the best in the world. Service is impeccable. Everything is made with the finest products and tastes amazing. Great selection of wines, champagnes and tea. A great Persian Restaurant that i am proud to say i have experienced in Australia. Yes it's expensive, but worth every cent.

The food was really good and interesting. The atmosphere was family friendly. So although we were on a date night we'd be very comfortable bringing our young daughter there.

Certainly it is the best quality food, best service! We do go there quite often, we always enjoyed our time there. Live music, friendly staff and fantastic food. What else can you ask?! Absolutely nothing. It is very sad to see other Persian restaurants they can't match their service or quality of food in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne since 1995 and I have to say its the best of the best. Despite the haters, this is the fact!
