Was told by coworkers this stall serve really nice chicken rice. And they were. Got that somewhat sweet taste to the meat and the soup. Really keen to try the other menu. Will come back to try some more.
I love the curry laksa noodle, the best in perth! Whenever I visit them, I try to order something else but end up with ordering the same thing .
Most authentic and delicious Malaysian food in Perth! It's easy to see why this place is the busiest in the food court by far as I've tried many of their dishes and am yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend the fried kuay teow, curry luksa, egg sauce hor fun and mee goreng; always our family favourites and worth coming out for.
Favourites from this stall- Char Kueh Tiaw and Beef Rendang. Love the Fried Chinese Doughnuts with yam filling; a rare find. Mee Rebus isn't the best, but for Perth standard, it is good. Affordable prices for big servings; you'll definitely walk away filled up!
By far, this hawker stall in the Cambridge International Food Forum does the best char kuey teow in Perth! Has the Chinese sausage, plenty of "wok hei" - the charred flavour and plenty of spice from the chilli. Love it!
Quite authentic Malaysian hawker fare at relatively reasonable prices. Quick service too. Place is generally not crowded even during lunch peak hours which is a plus.
Best neighbourhood gem for Malaysian food. I tried char kuey teow from a lot of places but this is the best one! Another favourite of my comfort food is the egg sauce hor fun.
The char kwey teow here is fantastic. It has to be the best place for it in Perth that I am aware of. It is in a food court however I will happily drive 40 mins for this feed any day.
Have only had the vege laksa from here but prob had a dozen times now take away and love it great value big serve and packs super flavour unfortunately does not come close to ones we got at markets in Darwin but prob best one i have tried in Perth.
Food is cheap and very tasty, especially the char kuey teow and beef rendang. I've often found though that they don't offer many dishes on their menu, I've tried a few times to order a few dishes and they've always been "sold out" even early in the evening... I find the staff rude also sometimes, I've stood at the counter waiting to order and they've literally just ignored me for 5 minutes while they text on their phone, it's not hard to say something like "be with you in a minute".
Enjoyed lunch with my family on Saturday. Food was very delicious. The slices of sausage in the Kuay Teow were nice and thick, a good sign.
I ordered some Chau Tau Quay which wasn’t on the menu. The pieces were slightly thick but the flavour was there.
Overall a good family feed.
The prawn noodles and the char kway teow were both excellent. I especially like how you can taste the “wok hei” or sear from the wok in the char kway teow. The lady that served us was also a real gem, really nice and friendly.
Char kway teow is so good , all the other dishes look nice , I've been there 5 times and have the same dish , my kids love the other dishes
