The best pizza! I got the eggplant pizza made vegan and gluten-free and it was delicious! I have never had gluten free bases that good and the toppings were perfect.
I had the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life at this place over the weekend. My friends are sick of hearing about it, but I refuse to let it go. The world should know of the legendary Sunny’s eggplant pizza.
Sunny’s is my favourite wood oven Italian style pizza in Adelaide. I love that it’s in a hard to find location behind a busy street and down an alley, but once you step inside you’re taken to an uber retro, disco-vibe pizza joint. Everyone there’s friendly and the service is quick.
We had the pepperoni, cheese, mushroom and pork & fennel pizzas. For the sides we had crispy potatoes with a zesty dip, roasted brussels, garlic bread, fried chicken and a salad. The sides are so worth it. My favourite is definitely the crispy potatoes and the cheese pizza!
Great pizza but service is a little aloof and hipster. Will be back eventually. Pizza base is awesome and the eggplant parmigiana pizza was the bomb. Price is reasonable but not cheap. Best tom ok if you don't want to eat at a bar as it gets busy
Can get very busy sometimes, so would definitely recommend booking for bigger groups. The pizza was delicious, and they have a decent range of beer/ drinks. Friendly service.
Great pizza and the cauliflower side dish I had was awesome - cauliflower has no right to taste that good. Not a place to linger however, booths pretty uncomfortable
I love their pizzas!! We went on a Saturday night and it was packed but luckily scored a spot! The pizza base was so fresh and absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!
Hidden away in the backstreets between Hindley and Currie, Sunnys is a very hip place.
cool cats only. You'd really wanna go here if you wanna grab a slice with friends over a few Brendan Bevolas.
Thats what I did and I didn’t look back. They have live DJs, cocktails and of course bangin' pizza.
the pizza is more than serviceable as well. great dough which is light and springy with a good range of toppings available.
I give this place 4/5 Witchetty grubs, would go back.
These guys make the freshest most delicious pizza - you can taste the ingredients are made from scratch! Recommend the eggplant pizza - but honestly, they are all fantastic! Really cool place and friendly relaxed vibes. Thank you again!
Sunny's pizzas lived up to the hype! The crust was beautifully thin, and the ingredients just right. We ordered the porcini and the pork sausage pizzas - would highly recommend!
Tucked away on Solomon Street you will find this funky pizza bar called Sunny’s, our destination of choice for a girls’ (+1 boy) night out. To be honest I don’t often want to go out for pizza, the only time you find me in a pizzeria is when there’s something else on the menu. It’s not that I don’t like pizza, I’m never in the mood for it (to Mr Foodie’s disappointment). Having said that I do like a good thin base wood oven pizza. Enter Sunny’s.
Excellent ambience, welcoming to people from all walks of life, fun music and most importantly, delicious pizza. A great place to visit for dinner or simply drinks, never not Sunny's!
On our final night in Adelaide we went to Sunny’s Pizza and really enjoyed it.
The atmosphere was laid back, service was super friendly and energetic and the food was delicious. I really appreciated that they had house made chilli oil that you could ask for to add to your pizza (a rarity in Melbourne)
I liked the location and design of Sunny’s, down an alleyway. With neon lights and a bar feel with the tiniest twist of classy sports it really made for a great night.
I am not sure when I’ll be back in SA but when I am I will visit Sunny’s for sure. 5/5
My partner and I ate here for dinner Thursday night (9th June 2022). We did an online booking and it was all in their system upon arrival. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. When asking about the wine list I was even asked if I wanted to sample one of them! For food we ordered the Margherita pizza, pork and fennel pizza, cheesy garlic bread and dressed greens. Everything was delicious. Pizza base was beautiful and cooked well. The Margherita the stand out - the tomato sauce on the base was to die for, one of the best we have ever had. The atmosphere was great, music interesting (bit of a 70s disco vibe) and as aforementioned, friendly and attentive wait staff. We will definitely be back. There are some other menu items we would love to try.
An awesome vibe with dim lighting, disco balls and loud music. Food was delicious and service was quick. The vibe might not be for everyone though, the music was quite loud making it a bit difficult to talk and hear anyone.
Kudos to the team! We had a 45 minute minute intermission at a nearby theatre and the team managed to find us a seat, take our order and get the food out so we could get back on time! Funky venue, lovely service and nice food.
The vibes are extremely high at Sunny's. There's few places in Adelaide that do a good woodfire pizza and Sunny's is at the tippity top of that list. Amazing food and cool as hell atmosphere - Sunny's is where it's at.
Happening pizza restaurant that pumps out great pizza and other non pizza items auch as crispy fried chicken. Friendly service with short wait time for food. Dj was playing good music which added to an energetic atmosphere. Definitely will return.
What a fabulous little find.
Thanks to all those who left reviews for me to follow. Here’s mine.

This place won’t disappoint you.
