Absolutely the best food in the eastern suburbs! Amazing wine. Amazing salads. Amazing meat. Relaxed vibe. Love it! One of my fave places to go!
Sefa kitchen is an absolute gem in Bondi.
The decor is quirky and warm, the food is outstanding and the service is attentive, friendly.
The waitresses take time to explain each dish and give recommendations about wine. You should definitely go for the set menu, the wagyu brisket is to die for and it is very good value for your food.
Will sure be back.
I came here with my wife on a bustling Friday evening after the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk.
Quality: Superb on all accounts - we ordered:
1. Roasted cauliflower with garlic hommus and pine nuts
2. Egyptian chicken and garlic paste with coriander potatoes
3. Char grilled octopus with gremolata and potatoes
All dishes were great. The hommus with the cauliflower was sensational, the garlic was perfectly balanced with the tahini. Sweet glaze on the cauliflower brought it all together really well.
Chicken was also a stand out. It was succulent and moist which contrasted the crispy potatoes and gremolata.
Service: excellent. Our hostess was attentive and the food came out at a really good pace - just enough time between dishes to enjoy the bustle of Bondi road without getting restless.
Value: $76 for food seemed reasonable given both of us were quite full by the end of the meal. You could easily pay $100 for food alone closer to the beach and the quality wouldn't necessarily be as good.
This is a real gem - so glad we found it whilst out on Friday date night. Thanks!
Delicious contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine, Sefa is deserving of all the glowing reviews below. The $45/head set menu is exceptional value, with ample servings. Staff are friendly and on their A-game. Wine list and menu have both been thoughtfully assembled. I can understand why this place is so popular
Awesome food, atmosphere and staff!
One of my fav place in Bondi area.
It’s hard to say which one is my favourite dish because all are delicious. Man’oush bread serve warm, thumbs up. Love the halloumi with honey and chicken dish is so tender. Israel couscous serve warm, creamy mushroom taste is nice too.
I found out my love to sage tea here.
Service was quick, I always comes early for dinner.
Love Sefa! Have been several times and always leave happy.
The staff are friendly and competent.
The food is excellent.
The decor is cosy, romantic and fun.
Good for a small groups or couples.
Amazing food, with delicious flavours. The Halloumi and Brussel Sprouts were unreal! Located in Bondi and with a spacious setting. Food reasonably priced and it’s a must !!!
@sefa_kitchen not only brings people together, it also mingles the finest flavours from all over the Mediterranean🍽
The Bondi Road restaurant is a Middle Eastern cultural gold mine, creating a refined cuisine without national borders🌎
Each unique share plate is made with sustainability in mind. From their grain-fed and hormone free produce, to the way they grow their herbs, Sefa ensures every meal is made to the highest food and sustainability standards👌
In order to keep your dining experience fresh and current, Sefa often changes their menu. Consider ordering the set menu as it’s an excellent way to try all their incredible eats, while also leaving room for dessert!😉

The food was amazing and we had a fabulous time. Can't wait to come back for corn fritters 😊 (they were sold out). The staff were very friendly and super helpful!
Yum!!! Had my 21st here- was so good!!!!!! The drinks were fantastic, the staff were super obliging and all of my friends said they had never had such delicious middle eastern fare!
Had brekkie here this morning. My partner and I chose to get the 'blind feast': a four course (three savoury, one sweet) start of your day with a hot and cold drink of your choice.
The friendly staff surprised us with delicious dishes picked by the chef. Well-balanced and great use of spices! My top pick was the corn fritter with haloumi, bacon, chutney and sour yoghurt.
We will be back!
Nice restaurant. In a general sense, the dessert far better than the food in quality-quantity-price terms. The food is Spanish tapas sizes, so becareful to what you order
An amazing little gem in Bondi with a great atmosphere, good tapas and drinks. The best part of this restaurant is the service top-notch customer service. I, recommend this little gem but make sure to book a spot, especially on the weekends.
Amazing flavours of food, beautiful decor, and excellent service.
Have been here quite a few times now and love it every time! Great food, cosy atmosphere and all the staff are so lovely. Especially Ebru who was our waitress last time we went. She made such an effort to make sure we had the best experience!
Most of the food is really good (with the exception of the salmon). The portions are small. The prices are very expensive for what you get (even for Bondi). Most of the dishes are between $18-28 (the lamb is $44). It's recommend that each person gets 2.5-3 dishes. If you're hungry you could easily eat 3-5. Service is decent, delayed at times, but friendly. Nice atmosphere inside and it does fill up, so make a reservation.
Although I really enjoyed most of the food, because of the prices and small portions I don't think I'll be back. This place should easily be $$$ rated (instead of $$).
Gorgeous warm, intimate restaurant and bar offering delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. As a party of four we ordered the $45.00 banquet. All dishes were just delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone’s favourite was the octopus which was so tender. I really loved the beetroot dish as well. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return when in Bondi again next year for City2Surf.
Wow, love the food here! Great little Mediterranean tapas dishes great for sharing for big groups. The meatballs and lamb were the highlights for me. Cocktails are unique and desserts are yum! Reservations needed and come with an empty stomach!
Not your regular "mainstream" restaurant, rather it's small, intimate and very homely.
Traditional flavours made to share. Their dishes aren't large or served as a main for one person, which is perfect for groups of 3-4 to taste a range from the menu.
Will come back to try their other mains and cocktails.
