Great service with a smile, got the food quickly and everything was delicious. Had two entrees with the three curries and three naan, will be back.
Beautiful Indian food and great beer like kingfisher. In a new property Hotel W so still finding its feet. Decor is unusual and not too many patrons are flicking but the food is good and tasty and reasonably priced. Now closed
We had the delicious samosas for starters (they were so tasty, as was the sauce they were served with) along with pakoras. The portions were a very good size and there were 4 of each.
For mains we had the three naans and the three curries share plates between two. The naans were fine, more crispy than soft. Would skip the garlic naan as it was pretty loaded with garlic. The curries were not hot, even the lamb vindaloo was mild but still tasty.
I’d be back for a drink from the fabulous bar and the yummy samosas in a beautiful spot by the river.

We ordered the Pomegranate Prawn, Mangalorean Lobster and the Curry Culture.
The food portion was just enough for two people, as we didn’t order any sides (the serving size of the Mangalorean Lobster was a bit small).
The curry was my favourite, the meats were full of flavours.
Staffs were friendly, and the fit-out of the restaurant is vivid.

Good Indian fusion food, the lamb curry was my favourite out of the three, the fish curry was a bit bland but still ok. Samosa tasted beautiful and portion size was good as an entree.
Curry for two is good size if you order entree and a side of naan. If you are a big eater you might need more naan or rice as a side.
Waitresses/waiters were unsure of the menu (but hopefully just because it’s only a new restaurant)
Also they should really ask the customers if they are finished with the food and drink before taking it away (it made us all feel very rushed)
They also have late bookings available but the kitchen closes soon after so if you’re looking for a relaxed dining don’t make the last booking otherwise you’ll feel so rushed having to order entree and main at once.
One huge disappointment was the dessert, gulab jamun, which turned out to be a cheesecake instead !!!! and had absolutely nothing related to gulab jamun. I understand the concept of fusion food but perhaps they should just not call that dessert gulab jamun (the cheesecake tasted good but it really let us all down because it was very misleading because it simply was not gulab jamun)

Came during a week after it’s opening so I could tell their training wheels weren’t off yet so I gave them a little slack. Couple issues first, found that the waiters and waitresses weren’t fully accustomed to the menu, which would be difficult as the menu is Indian with a twist. I also found the staff were rushing us to move onto the next course which was a little annoying.
Now to the good stuff, the food was great and no denying that. Very creative takes on traditional Indian cuisine which was truly intriguing. The beef samosas were unbelievably tasty, such rich spices and flavor. I also tried the curry plate and particularly like the chicken makhna and kashmiri lamb. And last but not least, the beetroot halva aka garam pudding. Just great, so unique and delicious. So overall great restaurant, will def come again once the kinks are ironed out.
The dishes we ordered were mostly flavoursome and nice especially the pippali chicken and the aubergine dish. The the other dishes weren’t so good. The pastry for the samosas were too thick and the lamb rendang lamb was too dry. They got our bill mixed up which had to be sorted. Also, the staff were too attentive- they checked up on us like almost every 5 mins.
What a place. It's not your usual Indian. Very modern and delicious. The flavours pack a punch but the heat is just right.
The venue itself is gorgeous and the staff very attentive. Have a drink on the balcony and look at the beautiful view!

I was looking online for a venue to celebrate my wife's birthday. Booked Heritij after reading about it online. Plus it was also a new venue in Brisbane offering fusion Indian. We both found it superb with excellent ambiance and a great view of Brisbane River, South Bank and the Brisbane Wheel. We really enjoyed the offerings from the menu, all cooked with care and deliciously. Make sure you request any dishes you prefer to be spicy as the medium heat we picked could be more for myself. The waiters were very attentive, gracious and helpful. There is an open bar area, plenty of sitting and standing room as well as private function dining rooms. Well worth a visit again to try more dishes!
I recently had the opportunity of dining at Heritij and celebrating my sisters birthday. What an amazing experience, the food was cleverly curated contemporary Indian fusion. We shared several dishes which were incredible. The atmosphere, fit out and views are exquisite. Staff were friendly and attentive and were more than happy to provide us with reccomendations. I look forward to returning again.

I decided to have my staff Christmas party in 2018 at Heritij after I had a wonderful meal with my wife on her birthday recently. The Terrace was reserved for us at 5.30pm for drinks and starters that were timed to come out over an hour. We had delectable Bhaji, Rendang Lamb, Pomegranate Prawns and Portobello Beignet. These were simply delicious!!
We were then ushered into our private dining room (Wine Room) where 2 waiters brought us food to be admired with its presentation then eaten. We had Haryali Chicken, Goan Fish, Masahari, Spinach Kofta to name some of the truly wonderfully prepared dishes. Our wait staff were very attentive and efficient. Special thanks to Chef Parag(apologies if I have not spelt his name correctly) who ran the kitchen service like clockwork. Many thanks to Randi who helped coordinate the event and plan the dinner. The views are fantastic from the terrace and the mood uber cool, the waitstaff polite, attentive and efficient through the party. Heritij was an excellant choice and we all would love to return. Very highly recommended.
Amazing views of the Brissie river, striking interior. The food was beautifully presented. The entrees were delicious. The pani puri in particular looked impressive and was full of flavour. The curry dishes were decent similar to many other indian restaurants & generous in size. Great choice for a wonderful view and good food.
Attractive venue and polite staff. Good variety on menu. Vegetarian options. Good wine list. Expect to spend $70 per person for a good feed.
