I have been here numerous times, at first I was a little concerned by how low the pricing was compared to most restaurants that I am used to
The atmosphere is simple, but exactly what it needs to be, the service can be a little slow at times, but its worth the wait.
I frequently get the Vietnamese steak, which comes out sizzling, with a bread roll and a few extras, all great quality and filling for less than $20, the Bahn Mi is also great, I will continue coming back here
One of few places in Brisbane offers Northern Vietnamese food, specialised in Hanoi Style, small selected menu is authentic, fresh & no add MSG. A little bit wait, actually it worth. My children are fussy and they love lemongrass chicken & fried rice. Delicious Buncha blows me away. Highly recommended.
Went here with the family for a midweek dinner.
We tried the 'Bun Cha', 'Bun Cha Chan' and 'Bo Ne'. The bun cha was well done - chargrilled pork, fresh lettuce and herbs, with a light and slightly sweet broth - reminiscent to the Bun Cha we have had in Hanoi. The bo ne was generous with meats, with an accompanying crunchy pickles, and light and crispy bread to mop up the delicious sauces and egg.
Friendly and efficient service. Reasonable prices. Casual ambience with open indoor and outdoor seating. Yes, there may be limited menu options but I believe that they have represented North Vietnamese food well, and the options available are less likely to be found anywhere else and I'm happy to try something Viet other than pho.
Overall, a lovely restaurant representing North Vietnamese cuisines.
