The recently re-opened and re-imagined the Hotel Railway, Brunswick was a welcome sight and experience for me and my husband. After watching the transformation of this historical gem over the last few years, we had the pleasure of enjoying a Greek banquet. For $65pp the chef will send out delicious entrees, mains and desserts. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And the hotel itself, has been beautifully restored inside, with different areas for dining and enjoying different beverages. Can’t wait to go back!
A different vibe for “North of the river”, a little out of place, but certainly not unpleasant. A credit to the new owners for taking a grand old dame & giving her the life she deserves. It’ll be amazing if the upper levels can be recommissioned as is intended.
Been waiting a while for this place to open up and can I just say, it didn't disappoint. the food was amazing, If you come here check out the Panna Cotta it's simply divine. the renovations beautiful; the open space really adds to the ambience and the vibe!!! Lastly, the staff should be commended for their attentive and friendly service. You can tell they really care about their jobs.
Big 5 stars to this man, Kenzo, in the corner bar. I highly recommend you to check it out ♥️ Will be back here again, probably next week!

Apparently the Reno is super new and only opened a few weeks ago... It's pretty freakin' great! Definitely check out the terracotta themed, open plan and multi tiered courtyard. There is plenty of seating out there little grassy patches that kids and furbies can chill on and on the train tracks side is another covered area which looks just as funky.
Inside provides heaps of seating too and the open plan gives an incredibly modern feel. Lots of staff and friendly service had food and drink coming out quickly. We only visited for a drink but when our friends ordered chips it was ordered from the QR code then nekminit they were being served and they were pretty tasty.
I look forward to coming back and having a proper meal which could raise the rating to 5stars. Definitely check it out!
Hotel Railway's revamp is quite impressive. It is now a very large, warm and modern pub fit out with different areas to suit everyone. The large courtyard area will be very popular in summer, and is great for watching the game on the big screen. The front bar is a sleek, more fancy section on the venue perfect to enjoy a cocktail or whisky in a more intimate environment. I haven't stopped recommending it to friends. Well worth a visit
I had the pleasure of visiting Hotel Railway on Wednesday night. Having a cocktail in the front bar as I waited for my husband was the perfect start. The bar was light, great atmosphere, and the drink was made to perfection!
The Food! Wow! We tried a number of the options. The clear standouts for me were the Fried Cauliflower, the Cured Duck Breast and as a main the Spiced Lamb Shoulder - highly recommend you give that a go!
The team were welcoming, friendly and should be commended!

Fantastic renovations done to this place, and the new kitchen and menu does wonders.
Great spot to sit back in the beer garden, have delicious food and drinks and enjoy the sun.
Great new pub in Brunswick and we loved the beer garden. Burger was really good. Worth a visit if your a local wanting a new place to eat!
