Simply furnished little family business, with love for their culture and cuisine. Excellent prices, polite services, prompt timings, yummy food. Noticed the other customers were regulars at their favourite Japanese. Just wish I lived much closer!
Our new favourite Japanese spot! Fresh and beautiful nigiri, sushi and sashimi plus the curries are amazing too!
The owners are hospitable and make the dining experience all the more enjoyable!

Everything is handmade in front of you to order and much cheaper and tastier than many other Japanese places nearby!

Yummy home-style Japanese food. Quick, very friendly and warm service. Go here at least once a week for work lunch and its always consistent.
Brilliant, fresh sushi and friendly staff. Went for Valentine's Day with my partner and we ordered a whole sushi platter of 20 pieces. I could have eaten more. What more could you ask for?
me and a friend had dinner there and we both loved it! the owners were so lovely and sweet, such big smiles and so nice! the food was amazing too, we had the kitsune udon and the vege-tempura don. simple, authentic, and the food was beyond affordable. the ice cream was great too! will definitely be making a habit to come by, a very welcome addition to camberwell.
Super fresh sushi/sashimi platter made right before us in no time at all. Service was great and the food was delicious. We thoroughly recommend.
Loved the food here. Very unassuming place with yummy food and good service. The owners are so lovely and warm. They also told us when we ordered too much food and made suggestions on how to manage that. I’m totally coming here again!! 😋

Price is cheaper than other Japanese restaurant but taste is extremely good.

Excellent Japanese udon with clear soup and Vegetable Tempura toping.Fresh Sashimi and Sushi. I love this place! It’s good price and satisfying.
One of the most authentic freshly prepared Japanese meals we have tasted outside of Japan. Can't fault the refrained service or the attention to detail. Shop front is small and easy to miss, but worth the visit!
A classic Ma & Pa establishment with genuine food and service.
We were impressed with the fresh sushi, and the hot dishes and entrees were also delicious.
It's one of those rare places which cares enough to tell you if they think you've ordered too much food. In our case they were obliging enough to give us half serves instead of the full bowls of una-don which we originally ordered.

I lived in Japan for 10 months and only just recently came back to Melbourne. One thing I noticed is that the majority of the Japanese restaurants here are simply too expensive and don't even give that Japanese feel.
Iroiro is amazing. It captures exactly those Japanese vibes I was looking for in Melbourne, and the two owners are lovely and were happy to have a chat with me in Japanese. The menu is extensive and extremely reasonably priced. Truly a hidden gem.

Easy to miss but you shouldn’t! A lovely family run vibe run by a beautiful husband and wife team. Food is delicious and fresh and well priced too.Oyako don is only $9.50!
Many dishes to choose from, it’s one we goto often as we live nearby. Love this place and so glad it’s moved to Camberwell!

Great Japanese restaurant, lovely owners.
I’ve been going to their shop since when they were in mount Waverley many years ago.
Now this shop is even closer to me and the food quality is as excellent as ever!
