Not a fancy menu but the lamb and cumin was really good. The lady behind the counter was really nice and took my order with a big smile. Great service .
Been here a few times- hawker lane in Chatswood. Generally quite a queue. The lamb and cumin skewers are the ones to go for. Lamb skewers with cumin and chilli powder and a layer of fat in between a few bites.
However this place has been inconsistent. When you get skewers that are slightly salty and have the extra chilli power, it's da bomb. Wash it down with China's infamous water like snow beer and booyah... heaven.
When you get ones that are off the mark, the skewers can taste rather uninspiring and chewy.
Other skewers are average and I don't think it's worth mentioning.
Just with any other Asian street food, whether it'll make your day or not really depends on your luck. When it's good it's a 4-5, when it's bad, it can be a 3., thus I'm giving it a 4/5 rating

Having skewer by the side road, and the aroma from skewer being grilled giving you authentic Xinjiang dish experiences.
Here in Chatswood store, you can see the skewer also being made and griller from the outside clear windows.
The skewer it self Combine lamb rump pieces and fat, and meat has been marinated with cumin and salt.
For 3 skewers it will cost you $ 5.50
And for 5 skewers $ 8
Having grown up on cumin lamb skewers from Chinese street vendors, I was very excited to relive my childhood at Lamb & Cumin. Got their signature lamb skewers - 5 for $8. Not bad value and definitely moreish. Love the cumin and chilli salt which you can use according to your liking. The lamb is pretty tender, although some bits were a bit fatty. Overall, it made me nostalgic for those smoky charcoal-y plump lamb chunks that I had when I was a kid.
The skewers here taste divine and shockingly tender. Love the flavours in both the lamb skewers and the chicken winner, which is worth picking through the bones in this one. Service was friendly and service was speedy.
DO: Any of the skewers. The lamb, beef and chicken are my favourites.
DON'T: Get the wraps or meals, just get more skewers. The others will just fill you up.
TIP: Once again, you're in Hawker Lane. Get's very busy so get a seat first before ordering.
Sometimes a gal has got to do what a gal has got to do. And often this means fulfilling a craving for the lamb and cumin kebabs! Honestly, it was about time one of these opened in chatswood. There's a huge abundance of Chinese and Asian food in chatswood, but up until recently not many places that do schezuan and other spicy Chinese (and now there is a boom!). Get these kebabs in spicy, you will not regret it.
First time visiting the new lane. Lots of food options, though this stands out as you can see them making the skewers in front of you. The meat was delicious and the eggplant salad is a must. Great for a quick bite when compared to 'food court' food

To put it simply, Lamb and Cumin specialise in BBQ'd meat on sticks. It's all cooked freshly on their premises right in front of you so you can watch it all happening and savour those great BBQ smells. They come in different quantities and in different meats - just choose at the counter and wait for your sticks!
We love lamb and cumin, they manage to pack so much flavour into the skewers, they're delicious! We always get the original lamb and cumin, and they're always hot, fresh, and smokey!

The Lamb & Cumin skewers with flatbread was delicious! The charring and taste of the smoke made the succulent lamb even more delicious!

Simple dish ... deep fry eggplants with pickle and oyster sauce was excellent....

Just went there to try their classic lamb skewers. Excellent and with lots of fat, I do understand the 'lean' version now.
Delicious and authentic lamb and cumin skewers. Love how the spice adds a little kick. However, minus one star for the price. Per skewer is a little over $2, and it's quite expensive for the amount of meat on the skewer.
