It was very busy when I went to have lunch. Which meant that when ordering and service was slow sort of slow. I do like the food and pricing was average for the food (depending on the food). There was a variety of food available. I will come back.
This place is perpetually busy with occasional long queues of hungry people winding out the entrance trying to get a table. We came at lunch time on a Sunday and were lucky enough to be seated immediately.
We had the chilli chicken on rice, the duck with spicy rice noodle soup and the spring onion pancake. All the servings were huge and we struggled to finish it all. Lots of people around us were asking for takeaway boxes at the end of their meals.
The chilli chicken was lovely and the nuts that came with it added a lovely texture and extra flavour. The duck was very meaty and the rice noodles were delicious. The broth was reasonably spicy. The spring onion pancake was slightly too thick and doughy.
Service was the highlight here. The staff were full of energy. They were friendly, efficient and I could see them scanning each table to see if customers needed anything.

Went to have lunch with my dad, he ordered a spicy beef and ox tongue soup with noodles and I ordered the pan fried pork and chive dumplings, I found the dumplings surprisingly good, had that nice crunch from the pan fry, nice juicy filling oozing with juice. Service was good as well, not sure how the rating is so low for this place
Fast paced dumpling bar serving a massive array of dishes, we went for the roast duck on rice and the chicken dumplings and the roti wrap.
Duck really really good still super moist and good quantity, dumplings were fresh and really well made while the roti wrap was also fresh.
Very clean restaurant and other diners food looked super appealing, don't understand an average rating for this place as we thought every dish was on point.
Tried out this new dumpling bar, I was disappointed when they ran out of Xiao longbao as early as 11:30am, however overall experience was pretty good, dumplings were consistently generous, price was value for money, queue was long but turnover was quick. I’ll definitely come again.
Visited for lunch with the family on a Sunday afternoon and there was a huge que. The staff were responsive and gave everyone in line a menu to look at when we were waiting. I liked that they also came back every few minutes to give us an update as to when the next table would be ready.
We ordered:
1) special fried rice - tasty and had lots of egg which was nice.
2) pan fried pork dumplings - a little burnt on the edges imo so had to pick it off before eating.
3) Oyster sauce Chinese broccoli - this dish was huge! I love eating my greens but even with 3 ppl we could not eat it all. It was fresh too.
4 ) Chicken fried noodles with vegetables - this dish was a bit salty and the sauce had a funny taste to it. The vegetables were very fresh though.
Post meal - no dying of thirst afterwards...likely no or minimal msg used so a point given for that.
Came on a weekday and it was quite packed and bustling. The wait staff were polite but a little bit disorganised and haphazard. Ordered some boiled dumplings which were unfortunately okay at best. It did its job but nothing about it stood out; it wasn't particularly flavourful. Was pretty disappointed because dumplings were meant to be their forte! Other food looked good though might come back and try!
This restaurant serves various of Chinese dishes with Malaysian taste. Famous with the dumplings, this restaurant also has other main dishes like sweet sour chicken with rice, black pepper beef, and cumin lamb. Additionally, noodles are alos available those who are fond of.
What I like about this restaurant alongside the yummy taste is the portion. As it comes in a huge portion, I always be able to take away the overleft. Which make this portion super affordable.
Despite all above, the long queue on the weekend as well as the not-too-quick serving time have balanced the pro and cons. However, the earlier we come, the better service we could get. Yet still, this is one of my regular restaurant choice while at the Glen.
Not a bad place with your typical HK cuisine food. Great if you want a quick meal and then get back to your shopping. Overall, food is nice and service is good.
I used to come here for family meals and recently found a couple of new dishes that were very tasty. I would recommend them to my friends.
