Good selection of beer aka their name and a quality venue. Food is ok, the menu reads well, but could do with an upgrade in terms of quality.
I don’t know why I haven’t been here before lol. Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees.
So when my partner suggested we call in for a beer I jumped at the opportunity. The service was good and my La Sirene Praline at 6% which I’ve never seen on tap before was just perfect! In fact it’s all craft beers here. Woo hoo, beer heaven.
My partner had a Two Birds limited release “Thaiway to Heaven” Thai IPA haha who thinks of these names? And that beer was absolutely awesome, and possibly better than mine but I can’t say that too loud hahaha
This is a great place to visit and on Thursday nights they have a Parma special at $15. I’ll be back!
This place is definitely worth a visit.
A cool place to grab a cold drink and a bite to eat, Beer DeLuxe in Hawthorn is situated in a good spot and is easy to find. With a few outdoor tables out the front, there are heaps of places to sit inside in various different rooms. It is a little dark, with dark wood furniture and walls. It lends itself to European beer hall styling.
There is a great selection of drinks and service is really good. Staff are pleasant and up for a bit of a chat. It can get quite busy here, especially on weekends, but the staff still manage quite well. Food is available, and it sticks to basics like burgers, but they are freshly made and quite generous serves. Overall, Beer DeLuxe has a good vibe and is a fun place to hang out for a few coldies.
📍Location: 329 Burwood Road,Hawthorn
🖼Ambience: It is two storied with ample space for everyone inside and out to enjoy the night with friends and loved one or to watch a game night. The interior was decorated with subtle lights just to enjoy your mood for drinks.
👨🏻🍳👩🏻🍳Staff: Very Friendly Staffs
🍻🥗Food: Well let me be frank i go to this pub for the love of Fried Calamari and trust me its the best i have had till date, it came along with salad, chips and lemon aioli and of course had it with some fine brewed beers.
The Calamaris are just cooked to perfection and so was the chips(more like wedges) with right flavours in it.
But i am looking forward to explore more from them!
✅Rating:5/5 (this is just for the calamari😉)
Beer! A very solid place any night of the week. The specials are always on point. Dependent on the night of the week there’s always some cheaper options. $15 all you can eat wings on a Monday pretty awesome
Situated across the road from Axil Coffee Roasters, this is a great place for chilling or hanging out with a group of friends. Spacious and a nice vibe offering pub fare and a wide selection of beers. We had the pizzas as the sweet potato chips that’s been the rave of reviews on this place and all were tasty and well received, especially the sweet potatoes. Very friendly service especially the young man behind the counter who was very helpful and knowledgeable about beer and drink recommendations.
It wasn’t that crowded when we rocked up for lunch on a weekend but that was ok since we were in a group and it made conversations easy without too much surrounding noise that required yelling.
Margherita pizza was reallllly average - flat base, pieces of torn up basil instead of actual leaves. Felt really ripped off that I paid $18.50 for what seemed like a pizza you could just buy for coles freezer 😒. Would come back here for drinks but not food
Beer DeLuxe was one of the first venues in Hawthorn to start offering a really decent range of craft beer in the area, when the former “Undertaker” pub was revamped back in 2012. In that time, Beer DeLuxe Hawthorn has continued to offer a great selection of beers both on tap and in bottles.
As far as service and advice y on beer is concerned this place has it. The young guy who served us all night was exceptional.
Very limited wine selection, but it's a beer place right, so that's what they have and plenty of it.
Considering I don't typically drink beer it was great, we got hungry and needed food. Every few mins food was coming out, burger after burger, so we did the same. We ordered pop corn chicken (which was not traditional pop corn chicken) it was small pieces of chicken lightly floured with a very nice spicy aoli sauce
The burger were nice but really not a tasty patty with flavour, quite hard and lacking any zing. The burger fell apart as I tried to eat it but as I was starving it was smashed out. What was nice and very cool was the chip/fries....Very cool look the way they were cut (see pics) and crisp, hot and punchy. Very nice.
My favorite spot for drinking sour beer :) it gets busy and noisy but won't stop me going there . You can always find the right time to go and enjoy the craft beers
Lucky enough to attend Beer DeLuxe for a 30th where the attentiveness of the staff to the 40+ guests was outstanding. Must call out that all staff had a great understanding of the beers available and were able to cater to the individual likes, desires with samples always on offer. As the numbers in the photo depict, my 🍺 journey afforded an in depth appreciation of what each beer proffered.
Great range of local and international beers! The chips were great too.
Great range of craft beer both local and overseas. Food is tasty. Lots of happy hour specials and event nights to check out. Have done trivia here for years and always enjoyed. Fried chicken burger was delicious! Highly recommend the cheeseburger spring rolls too.
Just dropped in for an ale and the vibe got me! Really good afternoon watering hole with a good range of ales. The barman knows his beers and is friendly and informative. Happy to do small tasters. Lovely upstairs outside deck.... but too cold in Melbourne for a Territorian. Overall Good Vibe.
Cozy local Beer DeLuxe. Service was good with attentive staff. There could be a bit more variety with the beers on offer though. Most were around the mid 6% range which is great but I did need to drive later that evening so it was hard. If you love high content IPA style beer this is the place to be.
Beer was great, plenty of options there. However the food was ok, that said it is pub food so overall I was pretty happy with this place. Good service and place to just go for a drink.
Good nice place to hang out, relax and kick back after a long day. Lady at the counter on Wed 28th Aug night, superb lovely and very knowledgeable.
My wife wanted hot water as she wasnt feeling too well and she went out of her way just to get a kettle, boil the water and served us. Would definitely come back. Food was good too!
