The coffee is as it should be and the cooks and friendly waiters are welcoming, smiling and able to explain the dishes offered.
Parking is plentiful & so interesting renovations were underway as seen on our last visit.
This cafe has the most friendly waitresses I’ve met. They always welcome you with a hello and smile on their dile. This is why I enjoy coming here. I ordered the smashed avo and the presentation was as good as it tasted. I also love the almond milk coffees. ANDDDD the the Zatar bread is very tasty with the herbs and spices and oil and would highly recommend this cafe to all. Thanks Saint Helens Cafe.
Great little cafe - for a take away or a sit down! Coffee is amazing (best in hawthorn) and food is delicious. Helen and her team are so friendly and welcoming!
Favourite cafe. Coffee is 90% of the time great and if it's not they'll try and sort out why. Run by lovely mother and daughter. Food is amazing - good quality and fresh. Reasonably priced. It's very clean and the music is just the right volume and never over powering. My only complaint is no hooks in the toilet to hang handbag.

The cafe had lovely food and generous serving sizes. Most of it was delicious and flavoursome there was just some components that need improving. The drinks were good and overall the cafe was really nice! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice with bigger and spacious tables then usual.
Cute little cafe. Friendly service and generally has a great vibe. Interesting menu and my food was delicious - couldn't eat my crepes quick enough. Highly recommend.
Easy parking and simple to get to via public transport too. Has a big communal table if you had a large group.

We went to try this place on a Good Friday morning. There was no seat available when we arrived and was asked to wait. We finally got a seat after 10-15minutes of waiting. We ordered the Zaatar Sujuk (scrambled egg with Turkish sausage, beans and feta cheese), Shawarma (mixed grilled lamb on skewers, grilled chicken and lamb kofta served with pita bread, dips and quinoa tabouli) , a soy latte and the Pink Panther (watermelon, apple and strawberry juice). Both our mains are FANTASTIC! The grilled meats and chicken were nicely cooked, well seasoned and packed with flavours and spices. The scrambled eggs, the beans and the sujuk were delicious combination. The salads were fresh, breads and dips were delicious and well prepared. Portions were also generous. A lot of elements to make up both dishes. The place itself was quite cosy with some rustic decorations. There were antique radio in the corner and some newspapers and magazines around too. The staffs were polite and apologetic when asking us to wait due to the non-availability of seats despite prior booking. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely come back for more delicious and satisfying brunch!
I loved my visit here so much ! The owners are Middle eastern and Polish and the menu pays a really good homage to that. I had the polish crepes which were the best crepes I dare say I have ever had ! I also ordered the breakfast in beruit and the zaatar sujuk. The eggs on both dishes were so silky smooth and creamy , I was in heaven.
The staff are so welcoming and the interior is so cosy ! I really recommend this cafe if your ever in the area or want something different for brunch
What a fabulous cafe. We called in for lunch yesterday after the friend I was with recommended their food.
We watched the food come out to the other tables and were salivating by the time ours reached us! We had the Shawarma. Pita, chicken, kofta, salad and home made dips. Just sensational! Everything was hot and tasty and just wonderful. The staff were friendly and polite. I am going back for the shared breakfast my friend had had with her partner!
