Fantastic Place if you yearning for Italian Food. Too authentic & tasteful.
Spaghetti is hand made, fresh, soft. Sauces are beautifully cooked. We had Fettuccine Moretti and Broccolini Saltati for main course as we wanted to keep it light.
Pannacotta Al Frutti Di Bosco is desert to die for, excellently done to the T.
Look out for the tall guy with a neatly done ponytail to serve you, I missed his name but he was fabulous and made our evening more joyous & comfortable.
Just ONE Instant “put off” for us was, when I asked for extra chili oil dip, a different person serving us at that moment, peeped into our dip bowl and said, you have a lot there, why more !!
Excuse me, are you paying my bill ??
So beware of asking for more Dips, they check your table before they serve you more.

This is my favourite Italian destination in Leichhardt. They have customer friendly staff and that continuously takes care of customer satisfaction. They serve food really hot and fresh. Garlic bread was yum and pizza was also really nice. It was hot and spicy as per our specifications they customised it. Love the ambience as well.

Absolutely loved the antipasti board and the zucchini flowers!! The pasta was really good too - a good ratio between pasta and sauce, and was also generous with ingredients. The desserts were quite good - I especially liked the Mille feuille but the tiramisu wasn’t as good as I expected. It was too dense; not fluffy enough. The service was alright, quite hard trying to get the attention of staff but otherwise, positive experience overall!
My top priority place for Italian food, and a frequent diner at Moretti. Love their pizzas, pastas and tiramisu. This time they had the octopus on their specials, they are up to my expectations and cooked perfectly. Moretti’s food quality is very consistent.
Been here many times before and I have to say overall it’s pretty good. The meals here never really blow my socks off but, it’s a nice date night venue in the area with good service and nice ambience. Tonight I think I came to the realisation that their pizzas are better than their pastas, so I’d go for that.
Have been going to this place for years and the last experience was certainly not as good as previous ones. Staff not that friendly any more. Portion sizes have reduced a lot... But food still as yummy and pizzas to die for.
We came on a Thursday afternoon. Lunch service starts at 12pm and there were people already in the door, this place is definitely popular!!
Beautiful restaurant. Lighting sets the mood. All the staff are friendly and beautiful... felt like walking into an Italian soap opera set with so many beautiful Italian people!
Moretti is surely one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney! This place has nice cozy atmosphere and the staff were very friendly.
We really enjoyed seafood pasta, fried calamari, gnocchi with rich tomato sauce and lamb&pork meatballs! The portion of the meal was generous but not too much. Every dish was so freshly cooked and delicious! I’d like to try desserts and other food next time! We will definitely go back again.
We ordered takeaway. Got the diavola and vegetariana pizza. We got a small container of chilli whhich we spread liberally onto both pizzas. They tasted good on their own. The diavola pizza was a tad salty but the chilli just added the extra kick I liked. The crust was thin and didn't hold the toppings at the bottom. I would go back.
Wow! we found this place whilst on a walk around Leichhardt and this restaurant easily seemed like one of the best ones. I love the atmosphere and the beautiful decor! The food was really beautiful and tasted delicious. I loved the bruschetta and the pan roasted potatoes . The flavour combinations were just perfect and the plating was fantastic. The pizza was good but also a bit soggy. Would definitely go back
