I live in Leichhardt this coffee shop is amazing. Great coffee, muffins sweet savour and english are to die for. The staff are so friendly and this difficult time have done a great job of keeping up the service with good social distancing. Last but not least if you find a better hot cross bun in Sydney I would be shocked.Homemade great value and the best I have ever seen. Please go and support them.
Cheers

Came here for a weekend breakfast and although it was early they were doing a steady trade with lots of dine and take away guests in this small bakery situated on Norton Street. The menu is a pretty simple affair with savoury items listed on the blackboard above the register. The sweet muffins can be selected from the clear cabinet. Pick and choose what you want then make your payment. If dining in instead of the usual number you may get, you get a toy animal instead! There is seating inside and out.
We got some coffees which has a nice smooth taste to it. For our brekky we had the Fancy Pants Bacon & Egg Muffin. It had pancetta, ‘froached egg’, jarlsberg cheese, mayo, and awesome sauce (tasted a bit like bbq to me) and it’s served in your choice of savoury muffin. We had Plain and Roast Pumpkin. The taste of it was delicious and perfect for an early start. I was tempted by the sweet muffins on display and was drawn in by the Banoffee Pie Muffin. It had a caramel banana custard. Though nice there wasn’t as much of it in the muffin as I would’ve liked as ithe muffin itself was a tad dry. The choc frosting with butternut crumble was nice on top. Savoury won over sweet today.
Never tried a steamed muffin before which is what they’re known for so if you’re in the area you should give it a go.
Very tasty maffins and English maffin. We ate blueberry cheesecake and strawberry maffin with coffee, English maffin with ham and cheese. Homemade peach tea was good too. Will come again definitely.
