Great tasty pho, reasonably priced. The soup base was delicious but a little on the sweet side. Meat could’ve been more generous. Overall good meal.
My parents are visiting from overseas and wanted pho Vietnamese pancakes, so after doing some quick research we decided to check this place out for lunch.
Even though they didn’t have our booking, the restaurant wasn’t busy so we were quickly seated. The staff who looked after us was very friendly and all smiles. We decided to share their pork and prawn pancakes which came out so crispy and we were all fighting for it. One of the better ones I have tried in Sydney. My son tried their tomato rice with an egg on top which he loved. My husband tried their vermicelli noodles combination (not bad) but wanted to swap with my pho half way as he decided he actually felt like pho. I didn’t mind as the large bowl of pho was so big there was no way I could eat all of it anyway. Fragment broth and not too salty. I wonder how big the X-large bowls would be and that could easily be for 2-3 people.

This place is phoking great - definitely order the pho and the pork spring rolls :) one of the best bowls of pho I’ve tried in Sydney, will definitely be back during these cold winter days
It's the best pho in sydney. I drive 45 minutes each way to get here, it's worth it.
The broth is perfect, just the right blend of herbs and sweetness.
I get the combination pho (no brisket).
The decor is very plain, but they are no nonsense, it's all about the food here!
Street parking can be tough, but there is a public parking lot on the roof of the gym/fruit shop.

I love this place for pho, it's a pleasant atmosphere and I can take my classy friends there that can not stand the hustle and bustle of the other Vietnamese places I got to, there's a mix of ethnicities so they generally say they don't feel like their the odd ones out... mind you I'm not Asian and I'm always at pho lol best soups ever
We went to PHD Vietnamese for lunch and ordered beef Pho, lemongrass chicken & rice and fried spring rolls with pork. I enjoyed my Pho. The regular size is plenty for me. This aromatic beef noodle soup is bursting with cloves & cinnamon flavour. It’s light, rich and a bit sweet but I don’t mind the sweetness of the soup at all. It’s pretty clean and cool inside of the restaurant.

Definitely seasoned with MSG (my mouth was drier than the Sahara), but was a really, really tasty bowl of pho. The servings are huge (a small size would be enough for most people) and the prices are very reasonable. Caution: don’t eat the chilli
Love the Pho here completely Northern style Pho a bit sour the others Pho just like Southern style but Pho was invented from the North and seasoning and taste of South and North is completely different. Moreover, they keep the consistency very well
Maybe the reviews swayed me but I enjoyed the pho here much more than the Pho PHD around the corner. Broth has the same flavour as it'll sure they use the same recipe, but it had a more intense flavour. I also ordered the brisket AND tofu and it was so good! The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft In the middle and I still had a decent amount of beef. Madame Nhu is my fav but this is a close close second
We have been to this restaurant a few times. This time it was a cold winters night, perfect for pho. The service can be a bit hit and miss, but this time it was pretty good.
We had stuffed chicken wings to start. With a number of pho options available, they were also flexible allowing you to choose combinations that suit. I went with my usual, the beef pho. I chose to go with rare beef, brisket and beef ball this time. On the side there was a mountain of mint and bean sprouts, also chilli and lemon wedges. I went the large serve, it was HUGE. Although a little greasy, the soup had great flavour.
My wife ordered a small portion of chicken vermacelli soup, which was a decent portion. The soup had nice flavour, but the chicken wasn't the best quality.
A great Viet restaurant, worth stopping by.
I was recommended this by a friend who said their salt and pepper tofu was the best he'd ever tried.
I was not disappointed. Silken tofu encased by thick, uneven batter that allowed for texture variation along with the use of the fried and fresh shallots made it a perfect dish.
The chow mein stir fries were also excellent. The veggies done to textural perfection.
I was a bit disappointed with the price points. The mains were all over $20 and the fresh rice paper rolls whilst nice were certainly not $15 nice!
Still, I'll be coming back here. The service was great.
Tasty, reasonably priced dishes with simple interiors and friendly staff. For someone like me who doesn’t really eat that much Vietnamese food, this place is a good start. I tried their Crispy Pancake, Vermicelli Noodles with Lemongrass pork with spring rolls and Boneless Stuffed Chicken wings. I love the flavours and will definitely go back.
Very tasty food with generous serving sizes. The caramelised pork was super juicy cooked in a delicious, umami sauce. The next highlight was a deep fried eggplant dish which was delightful and super juicy - a crispy coating that will please carnivores and vegans alike. We had chicken rice paper rolls to start (standard fare) and also had diced pepper beef (tasty but not wow) and chicken fried rice. Overall a good meal. BYO - it came to about $130 for 2 people.

Egg noodle and crispy chicken - so so good! Texture and flavours are on point.
Green papaya salad - although it has prawn and pork, I think something's missing in terms of the taste and flavour.
Steam rice with pork combination and frieg egg - yummy! Totally satisfied.
I will definitely order here again and again and again. 😉😋
Really good beef pho and vermicelli salad! The broth is really nice for the pho. It's a pretty small portion compared to other pho restaurants that I have visited, so if you want the normal pho size, then order a large (or an xl if you're a big eater!) I thought it was a good size to share a side dish! The vermicelli salad had beef and spring rolls, really flavourful and a light dish in my opinion! Good portion! They serve really quick which is a big plus!
By far, one the best Pho's that I have ever eaten in Sydney. I order by Uber Eats most of the time because I don't live close by Pho Phd but gosh, it is worth spending a few dollars extra to get delivered an amazing dish that will give you energy and bring you back to life when you are feeling tired, sick, hangover, etc. I would totally recommend eating here.
