We loved Vapiano! The booking was for a large party of 20 plus and the concept of ordering without cash on your own individual Vapiano card was a great way to enable handling the settlement of your own bill at the end of the night.
The food was awesome and cooked in front of you as you ordered, and the cost of food and drinks extremely reasonable for any restaurant let alone one in the heart of Melbourne.
The ambience of the room was relaxed and the furnishings on point.
Will be back for sure!
Absolutely amazing place! Food is amazing and it's great for groups as you all get your own card to order. Staff are super friendly, the restaurant is spotless and has a great atmosphere! All three times I've been it's been a 5 star experience. Highly recommended!
Simple and delicious! Loved the pasta here, it’s cooked beautifully and we enjoyed them. They also have a great selection of desserts to choose from and we tried their tiramisu and nutella cheesecake - so good!
While you’re here, you can grab a few drinks at the bar too, they have a wide range of selection for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks!
I love how the pasta is made at the store and you can see everything being cooked freshly. I have always loved the pasta here. Pizza base was good but overall the pizza was a little dry and could of done with more flavour and toppings in general. The cheese though was heaven!
I came here for lunch with a friend. The restaurant has a fantastic vibe and a generous amount of seating. I ordered the salami pizza which was part of the lunch special. It was perfectly good, nice thin crust, and ample sauce. I would have liked a bit more salami on the pizza, but for $12 it was really good value for money. If you want good pizza and pasta, then you can't go wrong here. This will be a regular lunch spot for me.
We started off the night with the Truffle Oil Pizza and the Calzone @vapianoaustralia which were both equally delicious!!! 😋
We especially loved the Truffle Oil pizza... The Mocktail menu looked very tempting, so, we ordered the Lychee Elderflower cooler (this was soooo good and totally worth it) and the Tropical Fruit cooler!! The service was super friendly and totally deserves a 💯

First timer. Was quite confused upon entry and didn’t know what to do. However food was good and was quick!
This is a really cute concept of an Italian restaurant that gives flexibility in choosing your preference of pasta and the accompanying sauce. I also really like how you can watch the cooking and preparation process before collecting your plate. I ended up selecting linguine with the "gamberie spinaci" sauce which was cream pesto with prawns, cherry tomatoes, spinach, pine nuts and parmesan. The flavours were really nice as pesto is one of my favourite sauces with pasta and goes really well with seafood. The decor and seating area of this restaurant is also really lovely, its all located on the top level and there are lovely benches for group gatherings.
Food went above and beyond in regards to what I had expected of this gem, ordering system was a bit daunting as I'd not gone about it in that way before but the staff as well as my date gave ample direction. The ambience was phenomenal, had a lovely mushroom risotto, delectable!!
A nice spot in the CBD to get a quick pasta & pizza fix, where you can watch them prepare your food as you order!
I popped in to try some of their limited edition four cheese options on their pasta & pizza. The pasta was cooked al dente & I like that they give the option of adding garlic & chilli oil into it.
The tomato soup was really flavourful and perfect for the cold weather right now.
Came here for lunch with my brother and we ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the bolognese to share.
The ordering process was somewhat stressful. There’s different kitchen sections for pizzas and pastas and you have to order each at their own section. At the pizza section, you’re given a buzzer after placing your order, then you come and collect it once the buzzer goes off. However, the pasta line took a lot longer because they don’t take the next persons order until they’ve finished making the previous person’s pasta. Though there are a few different queues.
I loved and would recommend the bbq chicken pizza. The pasta on the hand was slightly undercooked, in my opinion, but the meat and sauce was great. Serving size was also quite generous.
This place has a fun and relaxed vibe and I’d probably come here again for casual catch ups with family or friends.
😱Lizzie’s first impression: This is by far my favourite place for pasta. The pasta is always al dente and made consistently everytime.
They introduced a new series called the BIG CHEESE where you can order pizza or pasta with 4 types of cheese! Perfect for cheese, wine and carb lovers. This place has a cool concept where you swipe a card given to you as you walk in, and you use that card to pay your owings at the end.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: There is such a large selection of pizzas and pasta but my favourite is the chicken pesto. The pizzas are also made fresh.
I think the cheese pasta was absolutely amazing - al dente pasta with cheese flavour with extra virgin olive and a dash of chilli - a perfect combination in my eyes. I also ordered wine here and must I add it paired perfectly with my pasta and pizza - not too sweet or sour.
I also had a chance to try their desserts - the nutella cheesecake is out of this world. It was a deconstructed cheesecake and the nutella mousse was so smooth and flavoursome. The panna cotta with raspeberry coulis was also to die for - great flavours and the dash of coulis just makes it all fresh again.
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: It is sometimes hard to find a spot especially on Friday lunch times so make sure you book in advance.
It was a longer wait for the pasta as theres only so many chefs who has to make the pasta from scratch but definitely worth it.
🥇Lizzie rates overall: A great place for a group catch up or team lunches as there is a very big open space - great ambience and love the interior feels so much.
