Came here because they had a special deal on and was not disappointed. Entrees had oysters and the pork belly. Oysters were fresh however a bit small and pork belly was so flavourful. 4/5
Mains we ordered Wagyu Rib-eye, Wagyu Rump, Chicken Breast and Lamb Shanks. The Rib-eye was cooked perfect however the Rump was overcooked. Ordered medium-rare and got more on the medium to well done side. Chicken had a good marinade but portion size was a bit small. The lamb shank was great, falls off the bone easily and with a bed of mash. 4/5
For dessert ordered the the grand finale which consisted 4 different desserts. Chocolate fondant and creme brulee were the best out of 4. Would recommend to order these seperate. The other 2 weren’t so great. 3/5

The Portuguese chicken skewers are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. They are moist , and saucy everything you want for a moreish chicken dish. Pair this with chips or a salad either way is fantastic. I opted for the quinoa salad.
The calamari for the starter is a fantastic option because it is light but hot and tasty with the cooling aioli.
Lovely interior with dark wooden furniture gives it a luxe rustic vibe , perfect for dinners.
Great food, great service. We had a red balloon voucher for a 3 course meal and it was devine. The service was fantastic the staff very attentive! Definitely will do back again.

One of the loveliest steak venues in Melbourne, truly a masterpiece, ordered the wagyu rib eye with some sides and was definitely impressed. Steak was juicy and tender and the staff was also so extremely friendly. Definitely reccomend coming here for a visit.
Outstanding food and first class service. We had the lunch menu which was great value. The calamari entree was very good. For our mains the steak was excellent and the ribs were mouth watering good. Highly recommended.
Meat and Wine Co serves up a mean steak with an upscale ambience. The venue definitey gives off steak house vibes with a little more posh than a gastropub. Three of us were starving and treated ourselves to a feast of oysters, garlic bread, beef tartare, ribs and a steak each. Easy to say we were ready to food come by the end of it. I'm a sucker for a good beef tartare and Meat and Wine Co nails it with capers and rich flavour. All our steaks were cooked to our liking and we definitely left happy and full.
The steak are not as good as I imagined,maybe because I didn’t have the most expensive one,but the environment is awesome,and the Bruschetta is gorgeous!I love it so much!
Set under moody lighting and spread out over a number of different levels, the restaurant gives an air of fine dining without the exorbitant price tag. With a variety of different steaks and some tasty sides it does what the name suggests - meat and wine. And it does it well. We were greeted and seated quickly and well looked after. Out meals were well presented and I had the garlic butter sauce which I was intrigued by (it was rather good!). Then we decided to push the limits of our stomach with dessert (good call) the tiramisu is huge and very creamy and tasty. I’m told that the creme brûlée is also on point. *they also cater well for children with plastic cutlery etc and high chairs available.
All in all a lovely experience.

Got a rib eye and a half rack of ribs. The steak was cooked to perfection and the ribs were delicious. The sides and the mocktails were really good as well. But what impressed me more than the food is their customer service. Overall, one of the best steakhouses around for a high end steak for an affordable price. Oh and don’t forget to try their fondant as well.
Came here on a last minute booking, customer service was absolutely amazing, ordered the large calamari as entree, it came out really quick and was delicious.
There was some miscommunication with my order for the steak, nonetheless the problem was rectified and dealt with accordingly.
I highly recommend this place due to the amazing customer service they have provided tonight.

For months my partner and I have been eating our way through all the highest rated restaurants in South Yarra. We decided to go to Meat and Wine Co randomly. All I can say is wow, superb service, so quick and ridiculously delicious food cooked to perfection. WAY better than most of the places we have tried recently. Highly recommend

Although we were running late for our booking, the staff were very accommodating. We had a selection of the entrees as we had little time left in our session but everything came out very fast the food and cocktails were amazing .
Our waiter made sure that my wife had the birthday she deserved so we will 100% be back thank you for a fantastic night
