Newest addition of Vietnamese restaurant on the rare Vietnamese cuisine along Swanston Street. They have extensive menu ranging from entree, rice dishes, various noodles, and sharing dishes. We ordered the noodle soup dishes and they are surprisingly pretty good. The fried rice and spring roll also exceeded my expectations of a westernised Vietnamese restaurant.

Nice decoration, they use banana leaf and wooden staff to make people feel more authentically.
I like how they do the open kitchen, people can see how they make "Phở" and "Bánh mì", they fill up the banhmi with the ingredients really careful. The smell of soup from "Phở" is really good and tasty, not too strong.
It's cozy, bright and clean.
As you guys can see the bowls, dishes, it looked very cool and traditional. So it can be meant that they really care about the decoration and guests feeling.
It's different when they put 2 types of spoon for customers, because different spoon have different purpose for different kind of food.
However when we came here, staff still leave red basket of chopsticks, spoon on the customers table near the cashier desk, maybe they just open so staff forgot to take it away.
Next, about the food
I'm really enjoy the summer rolls, fulfills of prawn, pork, rice vermicelli, herbs. Costs $6 for two, quite good with both the price and taste
About the bowl of chicken "Phở", it's looked bland when I first saw it, however the taste is there. Soup not too hot, so not really heat up the body. I'm not really into the rice vermicelli material, not really authentic.
It's funny when I saw some reviews said that this one is not authentic. Because they asked for "hoisin sauce" and "pho's vegies - bean spouts". These thing is for Southern part of Vietnam they eat with Phở. Not from the North side, which we don't have. Different parts different cuisines!!!
But overall it's still better than nearby shop, more flavour and nice cozy atmosphere. The price is reasonable in this cbd.
***Extra review: you guys should try Vietnamese ice milk coffee from this store, really good and close enough to the one in Vietnam. However, a minus point is that when I ordered it take away, the straw is not clean, which affect my satisfaction.
Only had one dish and drink there so far, but definitely better than average Viet. Had Lemongrass chicken vermicelli and a cold Vietnamese coffee. Others I was with liked their dishes too. Will be back for sure. Well priced and you can pay separately, which is good for lunch with work colleagues.
Today I just had Bun Cha, after a long time missing this signature dish of my hometown. I must say, it exceeded my expectations: the fish sauce was on point, and there was plenty of meat to satisfy my large appetite. Venue was clean and stylish, and staff were super-friendly as well. I would recommend Vietnamese and foreigners alike to give this place a try!
The food was so beautiful. The staffs are very friendly as well as professional, spoke fully English to me. A good place to go to. I just love it.
P/S: I ordered 'bún chả Hà Nội' for main meal and 'sâm bổ lượng' as dessert.
We’ve eaten here a couple of times and food has always been great. If you get there during peak meal times, you will have to wait in the queue outside but once in, service is quick. They have an extensive menu and a good selection of traditional Vietnamese desserts
