The best little cafe with the sweetest staff. Hands down the cheapest breakfast around. They also have Indonesian options as well. I got the soto chicken. It was very tasty with lots of veges and chicken. Really satisfied my noodle soup craving. Will definitely be back!
Was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Whenever I’ve walked past on my way to work it was always fairly busy, and so I decided to pop in and try it out one weekend. It’s a small and pretty plain-looking space, and yet feels cosy. The menu is intriguing in that they offer your typical cafe breakfast options, but also Indonesian/Malaysian dishes. We ordered a flat white and matcha latte to start, and for food the roti chanai with satay sauce, laksa and migoreng. The matcha was pretty decent, while the flat white was not bad. The roti chanai was delicious and well cooked - soft yet crispy, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. The laksa was good; the broth was a decent level of creamy and flavourful, and the noodles were thin rice noodles which was a but of a change as we were used to egg noodles +/- rice noodles. The migoreng would be more accurately named if it were listed as a “stirfry noodle” on the menu; but there was lots of vege and meat, and for the price point it was a good portion so I was satisfied. Service was attentive and good. Can’t go wrong with this place if you’re just after a comfortable cheap breakfast/brunch option.
The presentation and quality of food has definitely improved since the last time I visited. From time to time I have fall back upon the comfort of coconut and kafir lime red chicken curry or Ayam Rujak. Zero guilt feelings and full on taste. The presentation has certainly gone up a notch. The owners are friendly as always and I always leave here with warm feelings and a smiling face. Quality food, at a very very reasonable price.
