Bar Clara hosted my 30th birthday! Service by Joel and the team was second to none. Great hidden bar for a catch up or date! Strongly recommend!
I called in here for a pre dinner drink. The see was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
They had a good selection of top shelf spirits and some nice beers. I decided to have a 2 brothers Rice Lager which is delicious.
This is a great little bar down some steps and easy to miss if you weren’t looking I guess, except they have a new BIG sign our the front now lol.
This place is definitely handy for a drink or two w some good ol’ fashioned service.
I was meaning to try this place for a while and finally made it last week. Both me and my friend were pleasantly surprised by the great ambience and the creative cocktail. Love the sophisticated decor and very comfortable seating. It is not huge place, very intimate. Great for long one on one chats or a quick in and out. Highly recommended.
We stumbled upon this fantastic hidden bar while attending the nearby theatre. Below street level, it's an absolute gem of a bar. I love the lush, green velvet seating and all the elegant touches. It has a classy vibe, but without any pretension, so you feel completely at ease. The music is fantastic, and helps set the scene for a fab night.
There is table service which is always a bonus, and the staff were just wonderful. We chat with them for quite a while, and they were extremely welcoming. There is a great drinks selection and some fabulous cocktails.
I'm so happy to have found this amazing place. It has everything we like in a great bar, and we definitely plan on going back!!
Beautiful venue and great atmosphere coupled with great cocktails and service. Exposed concrete, candles, greenery and backlit mirrors? Sign me up.

Friendly service, Tom the owner has such a unique tastebud, the abnormal combination of ingredients always surprised us how amazing the taste turned out to be. Tom is always trying new stuff, hence the frequent new menus. He patiently explained his ideologies, that boosted our confidence in exploring any of his creation. The bar has a comfy vibe for people to have a quality catch up. The price is reasonable, in fact, it's a great value for what we got. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone who are looking for interesting cocktails instead of boring long island.
A fun vibe, quite loud however. Definitely should try this place out if you’re in the social mood! The drinks were average prices for a bar in the city.
Fantastic experience! Unique cocktails, great atmosphere and right next to Her Majesty's Theatre. The bartender with the blue hair was very friendly and helpful with drink suggestions. My only suggestion would be more food/snack options! :)
A unique experience. We were not expecting sit down table service at a bar, but we embraced the experience and had a lovely time. The drinks are very original, and the flavours are absolutely amazing. The super friendly staff made our night. We were unable to get in on our first walk past, but a very kind staff member took the time to make recommendations for surrounding bars based on our vibe. It was quite loud when we were there (around 10pm on Friday) as the room is reasonably small and crowded.
The cocktails here are SO good! The atmosphere is exactly like a cocktail bar should be! I loved that they gave us a delicious sample when we came in, which made it super easy to decide on the first drink. And with the second drink, we said what we enjoyed, and they made an excellent drink based on that! I would strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a delicious cocktail!
Great vibe and knowledgeable service! There were 5 of us and I wanted a whiskey but not with the sweet topping. Asked the waitress to "Surprise me" Well, the "Surprise me whiskey" was so good I had to have another. Great to get something made that was not on the menu! One party member is allergic to eggs and nuts and it was no bother - felt well looked after!
Definitely worth a trip for the vibe and the quality of the cocktails. My fave is the Banoffee! The staff are super attentive and always friendly. I like going there if I want to catch up with girlfriends for a chat and drink. Highly recommend going there if you’re up for an adventure in cocktails and want knowledgeable bartenders.
Visited here on Saturday night. Me and my partner were greeted straight away and pleasantly by the man behind the bar then seated by the waitress who was incredibly kind, and gave us great service throughout! It is such a cool little bar, uplifting atmosphere and the cocktails were a hit!!
