I really appreciated the way they followed government requirements on allowing enough space for everyone to prevent spread of virus. When i got there, they told me very politely that the indoor area already had 6 people which was the max there could be, even though there were a lot of seats still available. All the staff were very friendly and food & coffee were delicious. The baked beans had a really nice kick to it and was yummy, goes perfectly with the toasted sourdough. Everything was cooked perfectly
Delicious food. Quite and quaint little cafe with a beautiful floral interior which makes up the entire celling. Staff service could be better though.

With its iconic flower ceilings, Ada grace has featured on many Instagram pages. And when you see it in actual person, you would be pretty impressed with the deco at the cosy cafe too! I found the coffee slightly bitter at first but ten minutes in, it tasted much better. Pricing of $3.8 for a skinny flat white is below average which I appreciate. would come back if I’m in the area.
Ate here last Saturday during the peak brunch rush. Service was fantastic, food was even better. Highly recommend this little gem in South Melbourne.
Cute little cafe with lovely staff. We ordered the smashed avo and the paleo pumpkin & spinach loaf, both of which were really decent sizes and we were quite full! I would also recommend the brewed chai tea.

A little hidden cafe in South Melbourne. It became our recent favourite as it closed to South Melbourne Market - me and my boyfriend's weekend routine market.

Beautiful floral ceiling with plants at each table. We were feeling amazed the effort they need to keep it dust-free.
Service was good with friendly staffs.
Fair price with good quality classic brunch. Portion sizes were very generous!!!! Not joking😌 we were surprised to have leftovers due to the size.

Ada Grace wows with it's gorgeous floral installation that takes up a huge chunk of the ceiling, and also the small touches on each table that follows the floral theme. It's hard not to keep admiring the ceiling the whole time I was there. Even the outdoor seating space is an oasis of calm and greeneries.
It was no surprise then that even my buttermilk pancakes was graced by colourful petals from edible flowers. If you're not a fan of eating edible flowers, good luck trying not to chomp onto one. The pancakes by itself was quite ordinary and a bit too moist, but when eaten as a whole with the Reese's peanut butter chips, candied walnuts, caramelised bananas and boysenberry ice cream, it was heavenly. The caramelised bananas added a dark toasty touch, which contrasted but complemented the bright tartness of the boysenberry ice cream and the sweet saltiness of the peanut butter chips.
The Union Burger was a diet killer of a burger. With one beef patty, smoked bacon and a fried egg, it was bursting with juicy meaty goodness. The bun was soft yet held together pretty well. While the tangy tomato relish helped cut through the greasiness, too much of it meant that it became the dominant flavour at the end. Still, a respectable burger, and the accompanying shoestring fries with basil mayo was faultless.
The standard shots for the coffees here is a double shot, which was perfect for me. Strong, smooth and balanced in flavour.
All the staffs here were lovely, and interactions between them and regulars goes to show why this cosy neighbourhood gem was bustling even during a weekday.
Super cute cafe with an insane ceiling inside that's definitely worth seeing! Had two extremely good lattes in a really relaxed atmosphere. There are no fans/ac so it got quite hot indoors on a 30 degree day, bear this in mind. Even with the outside seating there's not a huge amount of room. Up the back you will see a black gate leading to the smallest toilet in the world. All in all recommended! P.S. Every much noticing the effort with the small flowers in vases everywhere, it's awesome.
A cute little neighbourhood gem. The decor is beautiful inside (look up!! 🌸🌸🌸) but the outdoor seating is our favourite on sunnier days. The food is very homey and portions are generous. My personal favourite is the Moroccan chicken burger (great hangover cure!).
Our new go to coffee spot in South Melbourne. This is a cute little cafe with very friendly staff and great coffees! Can’t wait to try the food, having seen the dishes go out they look incredible.
Stumbled upon this cafe when we came to test drive a car across the street. The lush green plants and the abundance of green in the decor created a living and refreshing space. Good coffee, very friendly staff, and some good brekkie bites. Drop in!
Love the coffee and food here! The mocha I've ordered (twice on separate occasions now!) Is so smooooth and delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and KIND. The kindness is what gets me. ❤️ The greenery is very refreshing - helps resets the mind for the upcoming work week! What a blessing, this place is.
Really lovely staff and lots of delicious vegetarian options. This is easily my favourite brunch place in Melbourne. Over time we have eaten our way through most of the menu and we never had anything that didn't taste absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed and the music is quiet enough for you to comfortably have a conversation, which is a rate treat.
Stylish boutique cafe, nice ambience, stunning presentation, lush greenery , super-friendly staffs and quality brunch coffee service. Worth my weekend drive coming to enjoy coffee, brunch and market vibe at South Melbourne Market. Kasey who runs Ada Grace still remembers me and my name from Peddler Tuckshop, she is very friendly, down to earth and lovely armed with strong work ethic and possesses fantastic hospitality skills. Her customer service is second to none, has excellent skills in barista and always professional which I believe makes every customer feel comfortable and relax.
Overall satisfying experience and hidden gem in South Melbourne!!
Good points - gorgeous space, lots of seating options. Wait staff were really friendly. Coffee was good, food was yummy, the seeded mustard sauce was a real highlight.
Not so good was the wait for the food. Probably not a good option if you're in a rush. Otherwise a really nice experience
This place is a true hidden gem in South Melbourne. The food is delicious, the coffee is large and amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly. We had breakfast here because we wanted to venture to the nearby markets afterwards. Highly recommend.
This dish is absolutely amazing. The tender mushroom, voluptuous pumpkin... I will be coming back again in a week time.
The soft spoke lady Michelle is very nice and welcoming with a positive attitude.
Not the best photographer, but the presentation was top notch and it tastes as good as it looks. Love the flat white as well, and I’m not a fan of coffee. Found this hidden gem when I was on my way to the market. Will definitely come back!
