I feel lowkey weird admitting that my coffee at Hudson recently was absolutely amazing!
So strong and so smooth, it was just great!
And... I got a two for one deal cause of the entertainment book too!
I was taken by colleague this evening.
Best place for CHAI latte and pastries thats all..
Loved the staff and perfect beverage customized according to our requests.
Highly Recommended...
Coffee here not as bad as other Hudson's. I generally avoid the Hudson’s coffee chain because several visits the different storefronts over the years have convinced me that their flat whites are over-steamed yet still insipid-tasting. But this end of Bourke is a coffee desert on weekends when the office workers are not around, so all the good cafes were closed. And I wanted to have a caffeine fix while I pirated an Internet connection from the free (and fast) wifi on Goldsborough Lane nearby. ‘Net service to my new flat is not getting hooked up for another nine days, so I have to be a wifi vampire at the moment. Therefore, I reluctantly hit Hudson’s. Surprisingly, the small flat white I had was not bad. The coffee taste was mellow, not burnt, and it didn’t come out with overheated milk (which flattens the flavours.) A lot of the quality of an individual coffee depends on the skill of the barista working the machinery, and I guess the one at this Hudson’s this particular day was good. The other counter girl warmed my chocolate croissant, bless her heart for trying to be helpful, but she did it in a microwave, which always toughens up the croissant dough. I’d rather eat a cold croissant than a nuked one, but I’m not faulting the young woman for my taste preference.
