Great coffee, Devine Rhueben’s and delicious poke bowls.
Copper and Stone cafe on St Kilda road is located in a large building.
The cafe has some indoor and outdoor seating and it's bright inside with an opening roof so you can enjoy the sunshine.
With some home made cold press juices, fruit and yoghurt smoothies and even some super smoothies w hemp seed.
This cafe has a new Mediterranean/middle eastern inspired menu.
I ordered the benedict which was middle eastern spiced slow cooked lamb shoulder on a Turkish roll, w 2 perfectly cooked poached eggs, baby spinach & the best tasting harissa hollandaise. Yummo
Think all day breakfast of Shashuka baked eggs, Haloumi bruschetta, gluten free breakfast.
There are nourish bowls of middle eastern mezze, and Persian braised beans.
Or you can build your own bowl w some good veggie options.
Overall this cafe serves some delicious food, in a comfortable chillaxed space.
The owner is studying nutrition so she will do her best to make some wholesome food taking into account any dietary requirements.
I had a great time here and I just want to thank the owners for their kind invitation to visit their cafe.
We were invited to check out the midweek brunch menu today at Copper & Stone cafe located on St Kilda road. Although we arrived quite early on a Wednesday there was still a good crowd of people popping in for coffee.
The menu read very well and had a middle eastern focus for a lot of the dishes. A good range of health and hearty dishes and plenty of sweet options
Today I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and mushrooms while but dining buddy selected practically all the sides on the menu ( well almost all). Her dish had scramble, smashed avo, feta and babaganouh. For brunch sweet we had the Banana bread complete with a caramelised banana. All dishes tasted superb and although they too a while to arrive were well worth the wait.
Thanks so much for having us in.
