Its actually 4* for this place.. I have visited multiple times and had almost same things every time.. But at the first time I went for Butter Chicken, and I was like yessss thats the one pretty closest to what I always have in India.. I wont say best, as ideally it is not the best with in the town, but it is closest to the best one.
One Star that I have taken over, is for the consistency. When you as a restaurant are moving from best to authentic, please be consistent about taste. Specially sweetness level in Butter Chicken.
Aloo Tikki Chat, and Samosa Chat are really awesome Dishes.
Keep it up.
had the $6 combo which was good
Had it for lunch today. Ordered double deal which come with 2 curries and papadum. I had mine with butter chicken and beef vindaloo and my partner had chicken tika masala and beef vindaloo. We enjoyed very much with our meal. The portions were generous and I couldn’t finish it because I was in food coma.
Will be back for sure!
Have been here several times and travel all the way to emporium to specifically eat here, always so fresh and absolutely delicious!! The best butter chicken in Melbourne, literally!
Excellent- food meat was exceptional - good quality and tasty I had lamb and chicken !! Amount was great too - first time I ate here - sensational !
I always come here if I don’t know what to eat alone in the city. Their garlic naan is my all time favourite never get disappointed. Curry favour and portion are perfect too.
Great food and good service. Naan are made on oder and number of choices of curries. Had veg biryani and double deal with daal and eggplant masala. That was really good in taste 👍

Amazing Butter chicken! the naan is also amazing. I would recommend this to anyone!
Tip: the small butter chicken is plenty, so I wouldn't bother getting a bigger size.
Ordered a garlic naan, it was soft, fluffy and super garlicy which I loved 😍 the service was good as everyone was friendly and attentive towards customers 👌 I'd go back for the curries next time!
Did the whole food court lap and I really didn't know what I felt like eating. Wasn't sure on Bombay Bar and whether I would be satisfied but to be honest I actually really liked the curries I ordered. I got the 2 curries with rice combo and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was nice and not fatty at all, the other curries looked good too. My choice for tonight was the beef rogan josh and chicken tikka masala.
Best Indian food I had in years! I honestly didn’t expect that from such a little place in the middle of a food court. Big portions for reasonable price and so tasty! The staff is very professional and lovely. 100 % worth it!
Decent place for a lunchtime pitstop during some shopping at Melbourne central. The curries are pretty flavourful (ordered the Chicken madras & eggplant masala) and the butter naans were good too. The lassi & gulab Jamuns were also tasty but the raita was way too sweet. Only downside was the portions being pretty small for how much you pay, definitely a bit overpriced
Indian restaurant. Good currys ready to eat. I ordered the lamb and pumpkin with both rice and naan which took about 10 minutes as it is mad to order depending on how hot you want it. I asked for hot and it was just right. Friendly service with a smile. Give it a try!
