Awesome little gem, pizza and pasta went down a treat. 2 happy adults and 3 well fed kids. Restaurant with bags of character and friendly staff that make you feel comfortable. My lasagne was delicious and served up rustic. The kids demolished the margarita pizza which was full of flavour. Tiramisu was divine. Would recommend and looking forward to round 2.
Was recommended by a friend to visit olive jar. Loved the pasta - the pasta with wild boar was really tender and the dish really came together. Do have the tiramisu, it will wow you
If I'm being perfectly honest I'm normally too lazy to write reviews, but it wouldn't feel right if I didn't leave this lovely little Italian restaurant the stellar review it deserves.
Went for dinner with the family here on my birthday and I could not have picked a better place. The authentic vibe and cozy feel gives the place a pleasant atmosphere, the homemade wine was beautiful, and don't even get me started on the food oh WOW. My spinach and ricotta agnolotti with the hot and spicy sauce was simply divine. I have never tasted an Italian dish with that much flavour. All of us agreed it's the best Italian we've ever had.
The chef brought out my tiramisu himself with a candle and sang happy birthday, before serenading us with a wonderful set of classic songs. Everyone in the restaurant joined in and we all finished up on our feet dancing. Not to mention the tiramisu was the perfect example of what a tiramisu should be.
It was a delightful evening and I'd really like to thank you guys for making it a truly special and highly memorable experience. To anyone thinking about trying this place, don't think just go!
