I like their potato fries the best! Sweet potato fries.. they were so sweet and crispy!
Downside: there's not much option available, it's either beef or mushroom. Wish they have chicken or something.

Being a vegan it's hard to find food to eat when I go out but empire had a great sandwich, chips and their salad was to die for! Will be going for more

DO: The any of the steak sandwiches. The "Fritz" was my favorite with chips already inside.

DON'T: Forget to order the sweet potato fries. Not normally a fan of sweet potato but these were the perfect accompaniment.

TIP: If you're short on time, do any of the sangas. If you can leave finishing that report until next week, then do the sit in experience and have the steak meal. Also if you want to feel young, sit on the yellow bench.

We came here for a team lunch today. The place was pretty small and seating was very limited. I ordered the "Tradie" which included Steak, Cheese, Beetroot and Egg. The sandwich was ok but nothing to write home about. The steak could have been seasoned a little better and it certainly is not worth the $15.90 I paid. To be honest a good old fish n chips steak sandwich could have outdone this. Definitely will not be coming back.

Loved my steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. The steak was melt in your mouth tender and cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

It's been ages since I had a steak sandwich. After eating here it will be hard to go back to burgers.

I had The Battler and the meat was super tender. Took my carnivore kids and they loved the steaks. Tried both the shoe string fries and the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were a stand out.

Nothing heavy or stodgy here. Fresh n tasty.

Aussie theme was a nice touch.

I shall return.

By far the best steak sandwich I've ever had! So juicy and tender, and each bite of steak came off without any trouble - no more tug of war with your steak sandwich and having all the meat come out in one piece!
The chips are delicious as well. The Empire House sauce is good but their homemade aioli is even better! Neat spot, will definitely be back. Great place to bring visitors to Aus for a taste of a real Aussie steak sanga!

The Dame is awesome! The steak is tender and juicy. It is also easy to eat, without getting any meat stuck in the teeth. Highly recommended!

I can't believe no-one thought of this before! Really good steak sandwiches with quality steak. I have tried The Lazy Susan and The Tradie so far and both were pretty darn good.

There was a queue when I went at lunchtime on Friday but it didn't take long which was awesome. Highly Recommended.

Had lunch here today, The boys & I had the Fritz ($14.50). The steak was cooked perfectly the bread was nicely toasted. Wish the size was a little larger and there was more sauce. All in all good feed.

Very friendly staff. Great menu, hard to decide what to choose there are so many good options. Sweet potato fries are amazing - try the blue cheese dipping sauce, very nice, has a little bite but nicely balanced. Sandwich was amazing.
