We have had burgers all around Melbourne. We have reviewed over 250 restaurants, and we can confidently say that The Cow Boy is one of, if not the best burger place in Melbourne (subjective of course). It certainly is our favourite or top two for sure. What can be viewed as an unassuming restaurant, who would have thought that we would be met with outstanding service, and gorgeous food.
From the moment we entered, we were served with utmost courtesy and friendship, where the server kindly recommended and adjusted our dining experience to cater for Emily's lactose intolerance. All restaurants should have service like this, it is definitely beyond most. We ordered the large fries, the regular burger and the double version. Let's start with the chips. The cheesy sauce went deliciously with the chips that resemble schnitz infamous crunchy and flavoursome chips. Perfectly crunchy and delicious, going very well with the burgers. The reason for our five star review is definitely the burgers. The meat used genuinely tastes gourmet, in that it is so rich with flavour and juices that each bite is met with shaking of the head in disbelief or happiness alike. The meat is very unique here, in that the patties are huge, with a clear marinate that is found only here. Although we usually prefer brioche buns, the buns here complimented the very juicy flavours from the burgers.
One of, if not our favourite burger restaurants in Melbourne. We cannot recommend this place enough if you enjoy juicy burgers with delicious Pattie flavours. We loved the service and more so the burgers. What an experience!
What can I say other than this place rocks! My favourite is their beef burger with feta and pomegranate (canโt remember exact name) The acidity and salty combo works! A lot of the burger joints in Melbourne can be a bit mundane (double beef double bacon double cheese pickle blah blah) but I find the burgers here different, but tasty, hearty, not overly greasy/heavy and satisfying. A must try!
I have been eating the burgers here for quite a while now. The buns have been changed from brioche to potato buns, which has a nice texture to them. Beef patties are fresh and juicy cooked medium. Great hangout for families and mates, nice aesthetics. ๐๐
Nothing beats a good burger, and my Friday night was made. Super fast delivery so freshness was maintained! I could tell lettuce was fresh, bun was nice and soft, condiments were the perfect amount and they are generous with the pickles! The beef patty was perfectly seasoned so that condiments didn't need to compensate. Chips were soft and super crunchy. This meal made me so happy, thank you!!
One of the best burger places in the western suburbs. They offer more than just your average cheeseburger, utilising a few choice as, out of the box ingredients. Thumbs up from this bloke

The best burger joint in the west! Way better than pretentious 8bit and other joints! Seriously juicy burgers with awesome chips as well! Keep up the good work!
I canโt get enough of these burgers, order once a week , get it delivered and Iโm never disappointed. I get the bbq boy and chips, the ingredients are so fresh and perfectly cooked, itโs put togethor so well and isnโt sloppy or oily. The chips are crispy and well seasoned. I even called the owner to tell him how nice is was, keep up the awesome work guys will put another order in on Friday ๐๐๐๐๐
