Decided to try this spot, saw that there weren’t anyone in there but hey, always willing to try!
Glad we did! The original fried chicken (we got boneless because of laziness haha!) - was SOOO crunchy, and very moist! This was recommended by the lady as she said it’s ‘the best’, and yes she was right! With the batter being super crunchy, you’d expect it to be a little dry but it wasn’t. Good serving size too. Not sure exactly how to explain it but the batter just had a different texture to other Anyways korean fried chicken I’ve had - more of a crunch?
Kimchi pancake was perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, and the gimbabs were very tasty too! Would definitely come back around again. Everything came out hot and fresh. 👍🏼 Staff/owners were super friendly too :)
It was a lovely restaurant run by family. The food was better compared to other Korean restaurants. And They need a more kind service. But It’s alright
Awesome food and really nice korean cocktails! I love the mango makgeolli. Prices are definitely more reasonable compared to CBD korean places. The environment is super cozy too, I could hang there with my friends til late. Also, just love the fact that it is a family business!

Shop is not as busy as others in area but dont judge it by this .the owners r very freindly and there to assit U with what to eat if U dont know Korean foods..
I would like to see it open during the day .but they run another Shop let's Bab ... They also r fully licensed and have a vast array of Australian wine's and also Korean drink's as well of soft drinks for people whom want alcohol free..
They can speak good English as well as Korean
Agit has tables that can accommodate groups or even a quite romantic dinner for two ..
I would recommend you try AGIT before gami ..

AGIT is a new addition to Healeys Lane. The chicken is a favourite of mine, crispy and crunchy on the outside but juicy on the inside. The food and vibe feels very reminiscent of restaurants and drinking places in Korea.
I’ve been here three times in the past few weeks since I’ve moved in nearby and will definitely still be coming back! Authentic and delicious Korean food is delivered fresh here and worth the wait. Most importantly, the kitchen is open till late so this restaurant is my go to after a night shift!
There’s a surprise in the male and female toilets. Came here late to drink late and have fried chicken. So much love for this place cause the staff were Ahjumma and Ahjussi. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
First Korean restro we tried in Healeys Lane and we enjoyed it...Soy Garlic chicken is good...One of the hidden gem in Melbourne. Staff are really nice..Will be back for sure.

For almost 3 years I’ve been coming to AGIT - it is clearly one of the most consistent places for Korean in Melbourne. Healeys lane, Janggun/Joomak etc can be very hit and miss especially when busy.
Some of the best fried chicken and soups I’ve had are from Stella’s kitchen going into the late hours of the night. Tofu is to die for. So yes you may pay a slight premium, the food might come out a little slower, but why are you in a rush at 2am anyway? Don’t miss it especially if you’re looking for a quiet place to chat/drown your sorrows for hours and hours. Always leave happy. 5 stars.
