Lovely place for a drive on a sunny day to have an iced coffee and a sweet treat. Very special place. Lovely welcoming friendly staff and the doughnuts are to die for.

Seriously this place! The perfect pie found me - this amazing buttery flakey perfection crust and epic melt in the mouth meat - sooo moreish! Also a stunning drive from Melbourne. Just yes!

It was a rainy afternoon and we couldn’t get a covered seat outside #COVID but the bakery absolutely lovely! Long time fan of the chicken & tarragon pie! Also got a lemon cruffin for later on. Parked near the lavender fields, had our cosy pie in the car and couldn’t be more content! 🥧

Excellent cafe. Delicious pies and treats. Really great place to stop by with kids. There's lots of space to run around and there's toys out. Highly recommend!

Drove an hour to taste the fish pie. Wow Nice and warm with full of mild flavours of celery, zucchini, cheese, salmon, barramundi. Missed the crushed pepper. Best to taste without tomato ketchup

Wasn’t expecting that! Thought it’d just be a small shed on the side of the road selling good sausage rolls…. But they have lots of cool space both as picnic area and tables. Also adjacent to a really cute lavender farm which is extremely picturesque. The meat pie was the show stopper - generous filling.

A must stop for all pie lovers!! Johnny Ripe makes amazing apple pie 🍎the crust is crusty, crunchy, sweet and much like your favourite shortbread it compliments the fresh cut apple sauce filling. Although they do not do this at the cafe, their apple pie is best eaten hot with a serve of vanilla ice cream or cream. It is unfortunately served cold and without anything which is a disappointment, which is why I always take home their apple pies and eat their hot meat pies or chicken pies served on site instead. Plenty of other alternatives as well, from croissants, cakes and other pastries they have you covered here. Coffee available and soft drinks also available the site caters for quite a reasonable number of guests. Great little rest stop, with indoor and outdoor dining areas, plenty of space out front for you to pull out a picnic rug also, public toilets easily accessible. A great little bakery cafe with indoor and outdoor dining options. Outdoors is the place to be when it’s sunny. There’s a huge lawn so you can have a relaxed picnic style lunch. The food is delicious and pastry is buttery, however it’s a bit overpriced… $7.20 for a sausage roll and $9.50 for a beef pie is certainly steep, even though they’re made with top quality ingredients.
