Located a short walk from Kings Cross station, this venue serves up made to order pasta dishes. The pasta here was outstanding. Quick, affordable and delicious. Worth a visit.

Delicious Italian for great prices. Can't go past the pizza fritta which is one of my all time favourites! The pork roll looked like it would be a bit dry but was suprisingly flavourful!

Such a gem. Tasty big serves that'll fill yer right up, amazingly good value and top notch service with a smile to boot. Go by the locals - the huge bank of delivery orders waiting to be dispatched say it all! 10/10 easy, casual, tasty, filling dining

Highly recommend Tiramisu. Pork roll and Marinara is good. The lasagna was not perfect, too soft.

Super delicious and fresh pasta! I ordered meatball pasta and I enjoyed every bite! Can't wait to go back and try more pastas!

Really good Italian food at very reasonable prices. Pork roll is a must have - the bread is unbelievably good. We also tried the boscaiola al tartufo which was very nice and a generous portion. Panzerotti was recommended by the waitress and well worth it. Finished it off with a tiramisu. Brilliant!

Great place for freshly made delicious Italian street food! The pork roll was amazing and the baguette was fresh and crunchy. Also tried the panzerotti and Boscaiola al Tartufo which were well worth it!

Amazing homemade Italian food in Kings Cross in Sydney. The pasta with meatballs made me feel like I was back in Italy, the service is great and the owner is friendly! Portions are awesome especially for the affordable prices they have. All in all, I would eat here time after time.

This place has ruined Italian food for me forever, not because it's bad, but because I'll never find Italian as good as it anywhere. This place changed my perception on meatballs forever. Not only is the food superb but the service is excellent. Will 100% return to eat here again.

I write in Italian language because I’m Italian!

My hunger no longer with their delicious pasta and street food. Able to design our own pasta is the best part of this place.
Spaghetti carbonara and garlic bread is awesome...give it a try and you will love it.

Get the pasta. Seriously. It so good. And the takeaway portions are insanely big. Enough to share with two people.
The Norma! And the pork meatballs! Yummmmm trust me it is worth it!

So fantastic that I've gotten their pasta every time I'm in King's Cross since being introduced to Friggitoria. Generous portions and generous proportions of toppings: I'm always stuffed afterwards because it's so delicious I can't possibly disrespect the food by not finishing. The pasta is perfectly al dente and well balanced. I always order the spaghetti Norma and I don't even feel guilty afterwards. The dining area is cozy and modern, the staff are absolutely lovely and super attentive (once I was eating in but realised I was late for the train so the waitress offered to pack away the three bites I had left into a takeaway box).

Street food from Southern part of Italia.

Menu was limited not too big which is fine to me.
I did bought potato croquette $8 and Canolli Siciliani Serve of 2 for $7.

Croquette in my opinion was just average, nothing more.
Canoli is just the same, it was nice but nothing more.
And topping they incorporate also choc chips.

Overall, nothing fancy
Had this for our work lunch via Deliveroo today and it was pretty tasty! The garlic bread was the winner, it comes on like this donutty bread but so salty and garlicky! I had the lasagne which was a huge serving, and had heaps of sauce!

Friggitoria is currently rated as the #1 Cheap Eats restaurant in Trip Advisor. However, it's not cheap (but not extremely expensive too)

The restaurant specialises in Southern Italian street food and pastas where you can choose your own pasta and sauce/ingredient. I ordered the king prawn tagliatelle and arancini. The pasta was overdone and the arancini was not too pleasant.

However, what surprises me immensely is the pasta sauce. I have tried numerous pastas and many restaurants (including the heavyweights) continue to use processed sauce or purée which holds your gullet and disinterests you after a short while. The tomato sauce for my pasta is mild yet rich in freshness and flavour.

A worthy meal indeed 👅👅

Hands down one of the best italian restaurants in town! They have the best pasta (read: boscaiola al tartufo) and arancini soooo good. Everything else is great too, like their nutella panzerotto and garlic bread!

I love this place. The pastas are cooked al dente with the perfect amount of sauce. It's Italian street food serving only pastas and arancini but be rest assured the pasta vs sauce combinations are varied. The customer service is friendly and is always full of locals every night.

Stopped in at this great little Italian street food venue after attending a Hendrick's Gin event. We had a number of cocktails beforehand to work up an appetite. Friggitoria has a great vibe with Flavio and his friendly staff who are happy to accomodate with great service. This restaurant has a selection of small bites including golden arancini, parmigana and panini all available at the counter for a grab and go option. The pizza here is fried not baked, making for a soft fluffy base. We decided to order some pasta and dine in. Pick the pasta choice to your liking, then choose the sauce. I went the Gnocchi with polpette(meatballs) cheap, simple and delicious. I sampled some of the linguini marinara, the spaghetti bolignaise and tortallini bosciola al tartufo(truffle, mushroom, parmesan and sausage. All were very tasty. We also ordered a side of soft doughy bread to mop up the sauce. Pop in for some quality Italian street food. Sweetandyummie Tony Hollingsworth

I love Flavio and team! Friggitoria is my favourite take away meal in the Potts Point area. The calamari is fantastic. I'm a regular diner and even more so now that they have mix and match pasta and sauce.

You can take away or eat in!

Best Arancini and Italian street food! I should have ordered a second to go when I met the guy at the counter, the most Italian dude I've met since a recent trip to Rome, explaining in *that* accent the difference between Arancini and "Suppli", which I ended up getting. A risotto ball with tomato, salami and mozzarella with the crispiest outer layer you can imagine with cracked pepper on top, each bite was so so unbelievably tasty. Love this joint! If it was in the CBD there would be queues down the street. The Suppli was enough for me for an after-drinks dinner to go, and only $5. The Arancini is larger and costs about $7. They also seemed to do other dishes but they'll have to wait til next time!

Delicious authentic Italian food at a very reasonable price. The panzerotto with veggies and cheese is seriously yummy. If you're confused about any of the items on the menu, just ask! "Fried pizza" sounds super heavy, oily and a bit unappealing in English but it's ever so lightly fried with a delicate tomato sauce and fresh basil. Delish.

It's good to have a place with genuine Italian street food but it's very expensive and everything get's reheated. They have meals like pasta, and I had some fairly good tortellini but it definitely suffered from being taken out of the counter and reheated, so was hard to justify $15 for it. The arancino was much better with a tasty and crispy exterior and good bolognese inside, but $8 is a bit much for a snack.

As an Italian I can state without the shade of a doubt that this place produces food with one of the most similar tastes to what we achieve in Italy I've stumbled upon so far. Authentic, genuine ingredients, healthy cooking style. The tomato sauce couldn't be made better. Five stars.

If you want to try some amazing Italian street food please visit this place.. You will love it.. My favourite so far : pizza fritta .. ( deep fried dough with cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese.. ) Vegetarian suppli' ( tomatoes and veggies risotto with a core of fior di latte mozzarella ) just insanely good!!! Also the chicken chips .. Extra Thin and crispy breadcrumbed chicken schnizel.. Ask for some in house made mayo .. Excellent..

A real taste of italy ....
good for a quick bite late at night
or takeaway home,
the arancini, suppli and panzerotto are amazing.

Fried Italian small bites. Came to the Cross looking for this place but ended up eating next door. So got a few things from here and ate them later. Hard to decide so went with the Cono Mix which was a collection of all of this places's small food. Essentially it was various bits of small fried food. The fried dough didn't do much for me and some of the pieces were quite small and tough-ish. So on the whole not amazing. Fared much better with the crocchette (fried breadcrumbed potato mash with herbs and cheeses) and the suppli (a sort of cylindrical arancini with mozzarella). Both of these were really tasty. There were some items in the Cono Mix which were sort of small versions of these and they were good.

They measured the temperature of the crocchette before putting it in the takeaway box - I was utterly amazed by this. It's largely a tiny takeaway place in the heart of the Cross and they're measuring the temperature knowing I was taking it away - this impressed me greatly.
