Review Ms G's - Sydney

Elenora Taala
Wow, where to start The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, lively and just wow. Food was absolutely amazing, size, flavour and presentation. Don’t get me started on service, I can’t fault anything about service it was just too good. All waitresses done a beautiful job in trying to make our night wonderful, thank you guys!! Definitely recommend the banquet, it was the right amount of food, good portions and full of flavour.
Jana
WOW! The food is amazing! We ordered almost everything on the menu and everything was nothing short of amazing. Every food has its own twist. Even the dessert was spectacular! We also had a good dining experience. Aniket particularly was very friendly and accommodating. Ambience was perfect as well. Couldn’t recommend this place enough

Love Ms. G’s! We’ve come here for dinner and ordered the banquet for 2 which was a great mix of food. Absolutely loved the cheeseburger spring rolls and the strange flavour burrata. They’ve managed to create some interesting flavour combinations in real Asian fusion style. Service was great and the waiter was quite the character too. Fantastic drinks!

Loved it. We enjoyed the Banquet option for $79pp. I loved the variety of flavours, the vegetables are amazing and the dessert was delightful. Excellent service and atmosphere. Great cocktails, the bartender is a legend⭐

4.5/5 ⭐️ We were looking for a restaurant and cocktail bar where we could enjoy drinks, good food and a good vibe on a Saturday night and Ms G’s delivered! They’ve got a DJ, music pumping and a great bar. Their menu is fairly large so we struggled to narrow it down but the waiter (btw - THE funniest waiter) helped us out by recommending the most popular dishes. He also offered us “mystery cocktails” ie. in he chose some for us and he did a great job because we enjoyed all of them! 🍔 Cheeseburger Spring Rolls - WOW. These were highly recommended by several people and I’m glad we tried them. They tasted EXACTLY like a Maccas cheeseburger, I was mind-blown. I couldn’t eat more than one but man were they good. 🐟 Kingfish - Another winner. My sister who doesn’t like raw fish tried this and loved it. The fish was incredibly fresh and the ponzu sauce elevated it. It legit tasted like chicken, it was so so good. This is a must-order. 🥟 Pan Fried Gyoza - The crepe was so thin and delicate, all it needed was a slight tap of the fork and it broke apart. The gyoza were packed with flavour on the inside as well as the outside with chilli and vinegar. 🦐 BBQ King Prawns - Loved the shrimp paste brown butter that covered the prawns. The flesh of the prawns were silky and the paste made it all the more hearty. 🍗 Fried Chicken - This is the only dish I didn’t enjoy. The chicken was saturated in the sweet soy glaze that overpowered and became unpleasant, it was too salty. The daikon helped to balance it out but it wasn’t enough as it was way too rich. Highly recommend a visit to Ms G’s if you’re from Sydney or you’re planning a trip! It’s got great music, the best waiters, and delicious food. Definitely book ahead of time.

I give it a 5 stars for the atmosphere, really cool restaurant/bar and it has an incredible vibe. Space is a bit cramped but not too bad and service is good. Food was ok some really good things e.g. cheeseburger springrolls and others seemed standard like the tartare. I'd recommend if you're looking for a good date spot or lively place.

Really enjoyed Ms Gs, my favourite was probably the cheeseburger spring rolls which tasted like a Big Mac. The kingfish was also delicious as it had a great soy sauce base.

Perfect food and service. It’s an experience most will enjoy! Like many places here in Sydney it looks casual but the food it’s another level. Go and try it!

As long as you can get past the fact that that it is owned by Merivale, Ms G's is worth a look. Don't let the inner-city crowd clientele or the over-the-top fit out dissuade you; their food and drink makes it all worth it. Their legitimately Asian fusion menu features all kinds of tasty meals. The mini bánh mì sliders are so good! I can never decide between the crisp pork belly or chicken katsu, so I just get both! And if you are willing to pay for it, the Sang Choy Bao is a must. And if you thought picking from the food menu was hard, just wait till you see the wine list and cocktail menu. Be brave, try one of the 'packaged' cocktails that come in a sealed bubble tea cup with oversized straw!

I'm here right now and I just Love this place!!! Best Asian fusion to date! But so devo you guys removed the salt and vinegar eggplant off the menu whyyyyyy? please please bring it back!

Had an amazing night at Ms Gs, I booked for a large group for a combined birthday dinner for myself and my husband with a bunch of our friends for a friday night. The restaurant were always very quick to respond to my emails. Our group wanted to pay seperately, but like many restaurant Ms G's do not do split bills luckily they suggested for us to pay in cash to solve the problem. When we arrived (a while earlier than our booking) the place was buzzing. We were cared for wonderfully the moment we arrived in the door and the service was extremely efficient considering how busy the place was at the time. Once we had all arrived and were seated we were informed of our menu and my guests who had special dietary requirements were talked through their menus/dish options. The food came out extremely fast and was absolutely incredible. The kitchen also gave us adequate time between courses so we could digest all this extremely delicious food. The Cocktails and Mocktails my guests ordered were extremely innovative just like the menu. My husband and I had our honeymoon in Japan and it was very special and nostalgic to taste certain flavours that we experienced over there. Having worked in fine dining restaurants I appreciated the smooth service, presentation of the dishes and complexity of flavours in each dish. My guests and I had the banquet menu and it was extremely good value for money. The music was upbeat with remixes of classics like stevie wonder and also more modern songs. The perfect night out could be described as good music, good food and good company and this is exactly the night Ms Gs provides.

I've celebrate my birthday at Ms.G's and was the best choice that I've made! Friendly staff, lovely place and they offer heaps of options for those who needs diet modifications as gluten and dairy free or vegetarians... I don't even need to mention that the food was incredible delicious and that all my guest loved everything! Thank you so much !!! <3

As usual the food at Ms G's was amazing. We had the banquet which I really enjoyed. The falafel, the buratta, the king fish and the lamb ribs ... oh and the Brussel sprouts were the standouts. All of the other dishes were beautiful as well. The cocktails were delicious as well. I took along 3 others who had not eaten at Ms G's before. I can safely say that they will all be recommending Ms G's. The staff here are so great too. Thanks Guys ✅✅

Enjoyed a delicious long Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. My first visit to Miss G’s and was delighted! Standouts were the spring rolls and Wagu Rib dish. Interesting food and great service!

This place was fantastic! Great food and the waiter was excellent! Great service! Thanks, we had a great night! From the table of girls on Saturday night. Cheers, Kate.
Rachel Jones
Food is amazing as always. The difference between 4 & 5 star was a matter of wine pouring. Every time the waitress poured it was on the table or drinbled on us.
Tym Norman
The food was delicious. Great portions too. I walked away feeling very satisfied, but not over full. All the staff were amazing. They were fun and very attentive. It was a fantastic night.
Anthony Clément
Well I was really surprised by everything. Really good atmosphere, vibration and delicious innovative food. Can only give you five stars but it's a 12/10 for me. Can't wait to come back. And music was good as well!!!

A wonderful view of the Sydney city skyline, a quirky interior and delicious food. The gyoza and fried chicken were incredible!
Stephanie Ledesma
We dined there last night Amazing Food! The dragons shots are a must. Great atomsphere. The steak tartare, barramundi, short ribs, gyoza’s, Prawn pancakes all delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
Jeannie Coloma-Ebert
I love this place, cocktails are amazing and i am blown away with the quality of the food. I'm happy to come here again (and again) when I'm in Sydney <3
Tegan Burford
Really really great food and service is always fantastic! Thank you for always accommodating to my soy allergy.
Lena Blume
Loved the food. Wished you could get the banquet also for less then 4 people. Also BIG minus for using plastic cups for cocktails in the restaurant. The world does not need more plastic where it could be easily avoided. The cocktails would be as tasty from a normal glas.
Sarah Kemp
Amazing! !! 10/10 Food is perfection - staff are high energy, very attentive- Great service! wonderful music! can't wait to return

One of the best restaurants in Sydney! A good representation of fusion food - from Vietnamese to Japanese and Chinese.

I enjoy coming back to Ms Gs and Ive visited at least 5 times - every time I do come back, they have added a few new additions on the menu so I am always trying something new but also the classics! My favourites are the cheese burger spring rolls, steak tartare and the burrata. A lot of the dishes provide a umami bomb and an interesting take on the dish, it’s not too basic or over the top but executed perfectly.

The cocktails are really good - my favourite is the yuzu slushie!!

The atmosphere is quite relaxed and casual, perfect for groups and a good catch up with friends. I always recommend this place to friends if they are looking for a good feed as it is not too expensive either.

Visted MsG with my partner Chris Parisi from Parisi food and even though he supplied the produce to this place he agreed it was not fresh and was planning to call Justin about it

Very beautiful flavours in this fusion style restaurant in busy Potts Point. I loved the smoked mozzarella Banh Mi and had to order another one even though we still had our mains coming! We shared the Grilled king prawns with sambal, Crispy thai ocean perch and half a Peking duck, which was amazing. We felt the desserts were less impressive, maybe because the other dishes on the menu were so great and inventive. Still, we had the Unbaked Alaska to finish off what was a very memorable meal.
Alan
Didn’t have any food but was there for the cocktails and drinks, excellent bartending service by Samim whom was a treat. A friendly and enjoyable experience with great music, would definitely come back 👍🏼

Not a bad spot to hang in Potts Point! Very lively and great selection of Asian fusion food for sharing and drinks too! Highly recommended and will come back :)
Hangrylittlelisa
Good thing I like fusion, spice and coriander because this place has plenty of all three! Fusion flavours were simply popping and a party in the mouth and everything was cooked well! Love the share plate style of food, and the hip and upward spiral of the bustling restaurant. I hardly ever give a 5 but this place is well deserving as I was anticipating each dish and the flavour journeys it would take me on.
//
🥗 Crispy pork belly salad with squid, cabbage, coriander and watermelon with a sweet soy dressing
🥦Sichuan fried cauliflower - buyer beware! Tongue numbingly spicy and comes with a plate half loaded with chilli's and leaves a numb aftertaste in the mouth but the creamy on the inside, salty peppery on the outside cauliflower is totally worth it!
🍝Mapo tofu agnolotti with parmesan cheese and Enoki and skitake mushroom and a sweet chilli sauce. Yum!
🍦Yuzu and Blood orange sorbet covered in coconut cream, Mango flakes and sitting on an almond praline biscuit.
.

If I’ve been asked to choose asian fusion menu for dinner - I’ll def be visiting Ms. G’s. Went there for my bro’s grad and loving most of the dishes. Our faves include cheese burger spring roll, the tartare, and burrata. Tom yam fried rice is fine but not best. Yuzu cocktail is v nice! Will def come back :)
Ivegotthemunchies
Booked this venue for a birthday dinner on a week night. Spent about $55.00 per person for the food and we were very full by the end of the night. The service was great and the food was also great too. Highly recommend spring roll and the tom yum fried rice to anyone wanting to visit. The coffee dessert was fantastic as well. :)
Catherine
I love this place! My friend took me here for dessert and cocktails last week and it was so cool I loved it. We shared this dessert which was donut ice cream, crisps, deep fried Nutella, brownie, peanut brittle, raspberries.. it was to die for! I’m so glad we shared because that would be my daily calorie intake in just one meal. I also had a few of the Aloe Vera cocktails, it was definitely the best cocktail I’ve had in a long time! The whole vibe of this place is amazing! It’s dark but has this neon sign that makes the place glow pink. I can’t wait to go back here to try the savoury dishes... and to get that dessert again.

This restaurant had amazing food, great atmosphere and the staff where lovely and so funny. Would recommend if you looking for a fun night out.
Looks And Cooks
One of my favourites in Sydney! There is an awesome vibe here and there are so many dishes to try. Famous for their cheeseburger spring rolls and stoners delight dessert. You can have a cocktail in the swanky upstairs bar before dinner. Vibe at night is dim, lively and fun. Highly recommend!
Marianna Tuccia
One of my favourite spots in Sydney. Love the creativeness and fusion vibes that seem to always work. The highlight for me is always the Stoner’s Delight dessert. How can you resist doughnut icecream, raspberry curd, peanut dulce de leche, peanut & pretzel brittle, crispy bacon, mars bar brownie, potato chips and deep fried nutella? Not possible! #fusion #stonersdelight

Nice atmosphere with extensive menu. Had the mozarella and chicken banh mi. Nothing spesh. Overpriced for what it is. Enjoyed the cheeseburger spring roll (whopping $6 each) Harajuku Beer Stadium does a 5 plate cheeseburger gyoza for $10. I found the kingfish sliced too thick and it was drenched in sauce. Prawn toast was a let down. Prawns were cooked perfectly. Chinese greens were on the raw side. Roasted chicken and greens were really good. Had a coffee cocktail and it was sour. We spent little over $200 for this meal. Definitely not worth it. There's so many other reaturants with highly enjoyable food for less than this price tag. Will not be back due to execution of dished and price. Waitresses were very helpful on the night.
Amanda
Love the drinks and the cheeseburger spring rolls! I feel it’s quite expensive for what you get however we had the set menu. I think it would be better to have a la carte. Interior of the restaurant is gorgeous and they do a good job putting the bigger groups away from the quieter ones. I’d prob give a 3.5 if they still had half stars a 4 is too much.

Came here for my brothers birthday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and vibes here! We decided to order our own dishes rather than go with the banquet menu.

Sydney rock oyster: very refreshing, oysters tasted fresh and loved the sauce and radish really enhanced the flavour and wasn’t too overpowering
Mini Banh mi: decided to try both the mozzarella and the chicken, the chicken Banh mi was definitely a standout!! Highly recommend
Cheeseburger spring roll: tastes like a Big Mac in a spring roll 🤯🤯 but somehow it works and also thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend this one
Kingfish: this was another good dish, flavours worked well and very refreshing dish
Grilled eggplant: another good dish, eggplant was melt in mouth and miso caramel glaze and furikake worked so well with the eggplant 😍
Tom yum fried rice: this was a nice dish, lots of different textures but wasn’t a stand out
Half roasted duck: another nice dish but nothing amazing tastes similar to the roast duck you can get from the asian shops. Would recommend you order steamed veggies or rice to accompany this dish!
Stoners delight part 3: standout dessert! Good balance of sweet and salty flavours and good textures
Mooshie mooshie: loved the strawberry sorbet in this dish very refreshing with a strong strawberry flavour
Unbaked Alaska: probably my least favourite dish of the night, found that there was too much coconut mousse compared to the other components

Service was super quick which was a bonus but parking was a little bit of a struggle. Would recommend booking in advance as well as the restaurant filled up pretty quickly. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back to try the other dishes 😍

Ordered the following: Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Kingfish, Oysters, Ocean Trout Tartare, Bok Choy, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Burrata, Miso Frilled Eggplant and Baby Snapper plus all three dessert options. Must gets will have to be the cheeseburger spring rolls, the miso eggplant and the stoner's delight for dessert. For drinks also go for the Yuzu slushie, so refreshing! Between 7ppl, bill was about $625. Great vibe and staff are friendly.

What a place! Would return here in a heartbeat. I don’t like coffee but loved their espresso martinis. I’m not usually a pork fan but I ate half of my boyfriends pork ribs they were that good. And the cheeseburger spring rolls.. I don’t even know what to say.. possibly the greatest thing I’ve ever eaten!

What makes this venue a stand-out spot is a great night out with an intimate group of friends. Stellar experience every time, and a stones throw from plenty of great bars for drinks after!
Cameron
Quirky, delicious menu - could come back time and again to try different menu items. Fun cocktails. Great atmosphere (though very loud at times). Attentive and helpful waitstaff. Highly recommended!

Loved the Tartares. Couldn’t say the same about the ribs or Gyoza, but they weren’t bad. But the tartares are amazing. Cheese burger spring roll was awesome. Banh mi was average. Got seated next to the window and the cool backyard view was pretty awesome. Had great feels to it. Also great service. Little bit pricey but not too bad overall.
Beh Ru Nick
Weird menu, you wouldn’t find the normal stuff here. It’s more appealing to large groups where they can order a mix and try different things. Not recommend for individuals.

If you love ‘Asian fusion’, you’ll definitely love this place. The restaurant is quite spacious with multiple floors to dine, perfect for a lunch day or a chill night with a group of friends. I really enjoy the atmosphere, with wooden chairs and tables, felt like we were in Asian. We were placed next to the window and the view gave us Vietnam/Thailand vibes.

To start, we ordered the mini banh mi chicken katsu and the cheese burger spring rolls. The cheese burger spring roll was a tripper. Cheeseburger in a form of a spring roll say what?... and boy did it taste like a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. Really delicious and unique. The banh mi chicken katsu was average. There was nothing special about it. The flavours were lacking.

Next we ordered from the raw menu. We love ourselves a good tartare, so why not order both. There was the ocean trout tartare with rendang paste, coconut, lime and taro chips and the Vietnamese steak tartare with prawn crackers. The ocean trout tartare was so fresh and full of flavour. The taro chips were a bit hard but I still loved the whole dish. The Vietnamese steak tartare was my favourite! I loved the idea of the yolk on top. And the prawn crackers were super light and fluffy. Very enjoyable! A MUST TRY!!

When I read spicy pork filling with the Chiang May gyoza, I was underestimating how chilli this was. I’m usually not a fan of chilli but I thought I could take this, but boy was I wrong. It was really really chilli. If you love chilli and gyoza, definitely give this one a go!

My least favourite dish of the day, the sweet and sour pork ribs with tamarind caramel and Thai basal. I didn’t find this dish too appealing. It was quite boring. The flavours were lacking. The meat wasn’t tender and didn’t fall off the bone. I didn’t enjoy this dish too much.

Overall, would I return? Yes! I would love to try the other dishes, maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I do love the fact that the portion sizes were big and you could share it with a group of people. I would give it a 3.5 to a 4! Also, I really liked how every sriracha bottle was filled. LOLLL
Goma
Disappointed
We have been moved three times with different seats and disappointed
Food are fine but personally think this do not deserve a 4.5.
Kritika Kamath
So good!! Lovely cocktails, friendly service and delicious food. Especially liked the Vietnamese stark tartare and the Chiang Mai Dumplings. Make sure you book a spot as it gets pretty busy!
Kathy
Had a table with about 15 ppl for my cousins birthday here and was catered by an amazing male waiter. He always popped up at the perfect time to help us out. Food was really good as well!
Mary Tran
Hands down the best Asian fusion I’ve had. Was very impressed with the service, the waitress was so helpful and accommodating with recommending which dishes to pick. Water glasses were refilled frequently and staff always happy to help. Each and every dish was unique, different flavours with a Japanese/Chinese/Asian/Thai twist. Cheeseburger spring rolls, chicken katsu banh mi, Vietnamese beef tartare and desserts are a must. We also ordered other good dishes too: kingfish, grilled eggplant and lemongrass Angus rump steak. The coconut sorbet, mango granita and pandan coconut jelly + pearls were amazing, this was my favourite dessert, would happily return to try other dishes here without hesitation! Expect to be spending approximately $100 pp

You’ll be surprised with this restaurant. It has a Funky, fun vibe and ambience and that even relates to the food. I loved the starters especially the mac and cheese spring rolls , the mains including the steak and even the drinks 🍹 . The service is great despite few waiters per table. All in all a must visit lively restaurant with top food.
Dee
The food here was better than expected, the waiters are friendly and interactive, bubbly and the food came out fairly quick. Cheeseburger springrolls here are a must !!! And the opt for the mooshie mooshie dessert if you want a light refreshment after all that food coma.
The vibe was also good !! giving it a 4 star because their mains aren’t as nice as the appetisers and sides. but still good overall
Linda Roz
Love the food here. Modern take on Chinese flavours with a twist. It's one of the few restaurants where you can just be adventurous and not go wrong in your choice of dish. Everything is tasty. The few times I've been here, it's always quite crowded and a bit noisy, so not recommended for a close intimate quiet catch up.

One of my all-time favourite Sydney restaurants due to its vibrant creativity and bold approach to flavour. Almost eight years after opening its doors, Ms G’s continues to provide a fresh approach to cooking, drawing inspiration from a mishmash of flavours from various Asian cuisines. Think upmarket dining meets bubble tea cocktails, in the best way possible
Benkyousuru
A fusion restaurant that blends technique and ingredients from all over Asia. Upon entering, it was most certainly the atmosphere of a bar. There was a stark contrast between the atmosphere as we walked downstairs, the room was better lit and the layout was more suitable for having a meal. Staff were pleasant, and food came out at good pace.

Cheeseburger spring rolls – I couldn’t handle the fact that this spring roll tasted exactly like a big mac. It felt so wrong yet so right…

Kingfish with aged ponzu – Light and tasty appetiser, tasted as expected.

Fried sweetcorn – Crispy chicken skin, sweet corn and cheese. What could go wrong? I felt the powdered parmesan cheese felt cheap and it was annoying to piece all the elements together.

Grilled eggplant – The custardy eggplant in combination with the savoury miso, sweet caramel and crispy furikake were a great combination. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish.

Tom Yum fried rice – South east Asian inspired fried rice. Very moreish with its sweet, savoury and fragrant herby flavours.

Sweet and sour pork ribs – A generous serving of pork ribs marinated in a well balanced south east Asian flavours.

I was disappointed by the fact that I expected refined Vietnamese cuisine but it ended up being fusion.

Friendly staff and great for a social work dinner...the banquet menu was plentiful and each dish was delicious- the Yuzu salad was very fresh and the Golden Apple puff had just the right amount of sweetness

Ms G's is a idiosyncratic Asian food joint located in Potts Point. The restaurant is well known for their interesting fusion and iconic foods. I will state though that it's not really a kiddie friendly place as normally in the evenings it's crowded and loud. The décor is an original as there are different styles and many floors of captivating designs. I ordered the Cheese Burger Spring roll which was one of the weird fusions which personally was awesome and delicious, you could actually taste a burger. I also experienced the Ribs, Peking Lamb and the Stoner's delight (Desert) which all were amazing. The Stoner's delight was an incredible mix of ice cream, pretzel's, chocolate, donut, Nutella cream, peanut, Mars bar brownies, raspberry curd, bacon, and potato chips which was a divine masterpiece. The ribs were sticky and full of Barbeque and flavoursome sauces. Overall the experience was a great vibe.
Eatdrinkbe_merry
Been to Ms Gs so many times now and the great thing is that each time is a totally independent, unpredictable experience! With executive chef Dan Hong at the helm you know you are in good hands! Delicious cocktails like the Ms Gs Famous Yuzu Slushee or the Good Morning Vietnam w vodka, raspberry, lime, Vietnamese mint and soda will get the party started! Tasted a myriad of small plates like the gyoza, burrata, grilled eggplant, kingfish and sweet and sour pork ribs! Such a vibrant atmosphere too! Stoner’s Delight part 3 should be the dessert on every sweet tooth’s list! Doughnut ice cream, raspberry curd, peanut dulce de leche, peanut & pretzel, crispy bacon, mars bar brownie, potato chips & deep fried Nutella! This is worth the trip alone!

The staff was friendly and the environment was pretty cool. Unique food and drink options. You might want to book if you want to sit at a table.

AMAZING! JUST AMAZING. Very impressed.
The wait staff were friendly, helpful with my friends dietary requirements and the atmosphere was divine
Sarah&Gluttony
Ms. G’s Asian inspired menu is definitely something you can only try once. I definitely recommend trying the pork ribs and kingfish sashimi.
Amazing atmosphere, but it’s definitely cramped and a tight squeeze if you want to eat.
Ryan.miller11
Ms. G’s is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney, however on my last visit my friends and I were left extremely disappointed that the lamb ribs have been removed from the menu. They were by far the most orgasmic mouthful of food one can wish for.

The food overall is amazing and consistently delicious. I highly recommend the mini Banh mi, burrata strange flavour style, lamb ribs ;( and the stoner’s delight part 3.

Please, please, please reconsider adding the lamb ribs back to the menu. We all miss them so much 🙏🙏🙏

This place has been on my places to visit or a while, so finally decided to make the trek to this side of the city. There’s a lot of fusion dishes here, where they take the ‘basics’ of cuisines such as Viet, Thai, Korean, Chinese and Western food and literally mix them up. Being on this side of Sydney, dishes are more pricier than your average dinner.
Sam
Cute bustling restaurant set over three floors. Energetic ambiance. Friendly and cool staff. Food was very creative and bursting with flavor. The spicy burrata was exceptional, a delight for the tongue. The baked eggplant was wonderfully seasoned and the crunch on top added a wow factor. The lank shank Peking rolls were the cherry on top. Deliciously seasoned and soft, they had me literally licking the bones to get every last drop. This is contemporary casual creative dining at its best. I will be bringing friends and visitors back to this place.

Sunday early dinner here, love the hip place and staffs were super friendly. The food were designed to share, so we decided to try the mini banh mi katsu and cheeseburger spring roll.. love the idea of the springrolls and executed well, then vietnamese steak tartare & fried shallot with prawn cracker, yummm, snow cheese sweetcorn with chicken skin, i think the corn/cheese combination was superb. Chiang mai gyoza was another hit, love it and for main we ordered the baby snapper grilled in banana leaves and sambal balado.. YUMMM!! For me highlight of the day.. Love everything about it. And to wrap up the night, we had stonners delight for dessert, mixed of cinnamon doughnut ice cream with peanut, nutella, chips, raspberries, bacon and lots more.. i think the flavor was interesting.. overall, a very recommended restaurant 😍😍😍

Ms. G’s is an Asian fusion restaurant with quirky interiors. It’s probably one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

***

Food:
My go-tos are the:
- steak tartare to start
- grilled eggplant: MUST try! insanely delicious
- sweet and sour pork ribs: in tamarind sauce
- tom yum rice is pretty good too
- stoner’s delight is great for dessert

Service:
Servers thorougly guide you through the menu upon ordering. They also take the time to explain your dish when serving. However, given the volume of guests, it was quite difficult to catch them.

***

Highly recommend Ms. G’s for date night or an evening out with friends. Grab a reservation early on because they always get packed.

Very nice vibe here at dinner with funky interior art on the walls!
Highlight was definitely the mini banh mi to start off the night! Was iffy about the price for one of these little buns at first, but they were incredible and so worth it. The kingfish was yummy as well - very light and nicely seasoned.
Also ordered the oysters, fried rice and the ribs which were okay, but not the best.
We finished off our meal with their signature dessert - Stoner's Delight. In my opinion, there was a bit too much going on in this dessert for my palette. Everything was very rich, with nothing refreshing to counteract the sweetness.

Overall, would definitely come back for the banh mi again and to try the cheeseburger spring rolls!
Lauren Lin
I’ve been twice - cool place, food is always fantastic. Recently had the mardi gras special and it was glorious. Other must orders: steak tartare, shanghai noodle, eggplant and short rib.
Milo_wendy
Stoner's Delight a disappointment

Ms G's, located in Potts Point is a 4 storey space with funky wall art, and a intriguing ceiling of jam jars. The dishes have various Asian influences including Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while as I've read that the cheeseburger spring rolls and stoner's delight dessert were good.

We arrived when it opened at 1pm and was seated downstairs in a booth and was given a fabric high chair that attaches to the table. Not sure how different it would have been if our server was to attach it as we were given it to do.

Our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning and made a couple of suggestions when ordering which was helpful but as the day progressed, he was MIA, didn't check on our table, didn't clear our dirty plates even if he did attend our table nor did he refill our water glasses, all of which he did for neighbouring tables. Customer service went from a 5 to 0 very quickly.

We decided on x2 chicken katsu mini banh mi - we had one with just chicken and mayo for my child, x2 cheeseburger spring rolls, Angus short rib, and Peking style lamb shoulder party. For dessert, we ordered the Hong-Kongo Bongo and Stoner's delight. To drink, we ordered 2 mocktails - Pink Panther and Pash a panda.

Overall waiting time for food was so slow. It took longer as apparently the docket printer for drinks had some issues and our server didnt order the stoner's delight when we placed the order with him. We had to chase both up as our server didn't bother to check our table to see whether we received it.

The Pash a panda and Pink Panther were both refreshing and weren't bad. It didnt wow me. Pash a panda had yuzu, passionfruit, cranberry and soda. Pink Panther had homemade rhubarb-ginger syrup, lemon, rose, coconut water, and soda.

The chicken katsu mini ban mi was yummy - tasted very similar to a Vietnamese banh mi roll from the crispy bread roll, to pate, and pickled vegetables. The chicken katsu was crunchy and was a yummy combination. The mayonnaise looked like a lot but it was just the right amount. They gave us 2 chicken katsu mayo banh mi instead and had to redo it.

The cheeseburger spring rolls were awesome! Tasted like I was eating a Mc Donald's cheeseburger. It was crispy on the outside and cheesy and yummy on the inside. I think one was enough, any more I would feel a bit sick.

The charcoal grilled Angus short rib came with beetroot kimchi, ssamjang and leaves. The meat was sliced in thin even portions and was soft and yummy when dipped in the slightly sweet juices/sauce. The beetroot kimchi did not taste anything like kimchi but was nice when you wrapped the meat in the leaf with the ssamjang sauce. The sauce on its own was bitter and tasted weird but wasn't bad when eaten together as a wrap. Messy to eat but still good.

The peking style lamb shoulder party was a disappointment. It was served with pickled cucumber, pancakes and condiments. My husband and I enjoy eating peking duck so when we saw the lamb shoulder, we thought it was just a modern twist whilst still having the crispy skin component. We were disappointed when we saw it and even more so when we tried it. The only thing that reminded me of peking duck were the pancakes and hoisin sauce otherwise it was just fall off the bone lamb. It tasted ok, it didnt wow me. There wasn't enough pancakes so we ordered more but it was hard to wave a waiter down and when we finally received it, the lamb was cold so it seemed pointless in getting more pancakes. We didnt finish the lamb as a result. They should have given more pancakes as there wasnt enough for everyone to get 2 each. The hoisin sauce however was nice as it had a spicy kick to it.

The Hong-Kongo Bongo was refreshing and so much nicer than the Stoner's delight dessert. It had Yakult sorbet sitting on top of green apple granita, coconut mousse, rockmelon and apple. It was a yummy combination. Refreshing.

The dessert I specifically came to try was a major disappointment. The Stoner's delight dessert did not look appetising and it did not wow my taste buds either. It came with doughnut ice cream, peanut dulce de leche, peanut and pretzel brittle, crispy bacon, mars bar brownie, raspberry curd, deep fried nutella, potato chips and fresh raspberries. Eating everything on its own was ok and I didn't think eating it together made it any better. Shame, as I was looking forward to it.

Verdict: Cheeseburger spring rolls and Hong-Kongo Bongo are worth trying as they were the stand out dishes. Customer service needs improvement+++ and they should provide equal treatment to all their customers. Won't be back.

You can hear the lively buzz as you approach from down the street. It's not a big space & was very busy on the weekend for dinner. We already had dinner, but just stopped by for some cocktails. The bar is on the top floor, and not easy to make your way up there with dimmed lighting. It's very cozy up there. The cocktails consisted of the more normal varieties to slushee & bubble tea. I got the yuzu slushee, it was tangy with the yuzu, feels more like a drink one enjoys on a hot sunny day. Overall the drum inks are alright & the bar space's good. Just hard to get all the way up to the top.

We ordered:
- cheese burger spring roll
- kingfish
- aloe vera cocktail
- tamarind pork ribs
- the strange flavour burrata
- yakult sorbet with apple granita

My fav would be the spring roll and the kingfish. It’s such a briliant idea to put cheese burger in a spring roll. It makes a perfect sense
The tamarind pork is nice but i cannot eat more than 2 ribs because the sauce it a little bit too much for me. But that’s just a personal preference
The signature dish in this place is the burrata. I don’t know how tk explain the flavour pr choose between i like it or not because it’s such a strange flavour but the after taste is nice
For the dessert we choose the yakult sorbet and apple granita. For me it was ok.. just normal nothing special. I have to say for 16 dollar of dessert it is not quite worth it
I lovee the aloe vera cocktaill. It’s so refreshing.
Love this place! Delicious food and very cool atmosphere! Perfect place for drinks and dinner on a warm summer's evening. Fav dish - sweet and sour pork ribs.
Teddys99
Really enjoyed the sweet and sour ribs and the mini ban mi with chicken katsu. We also ate pork and prawn pancake (was good) and the bbq choy sum (least favourite). Mocktails where really tasty..ruby red especially. Service staff attentive.

Fantastic Tapas Asian fusion, deliciously crafted for the occasional foodie.

Peking Lamb shoulder with Pan cake was Devine.

Bah Mi katsu with chilli Mayo was super juicy.

Cheese burger Spring roll was out of this world.

I was impressed with our meal at Ms. G’s. Ordered:

-Cheeseburger spring rolls
-Mini chicken banh mi
-Steak tartare
-Angus rump
-Baby kale salad

I really liked that the wine menu is arranged by the style of the wine – we went for a bottle of the Austrian Gruner Veltliner which was better than average for that varietal and went well with our meal.

The cheeseburger spring roll was exactly as described and the banh mi were great too. The steak tartare was the best I have had in a long time, the soy and sesame flavours with the beef matched well with the fried onions.

The rump was the best dish we had, the sesame leaves are a great idea, the beef was perfectly cooked and all the flavours worked well.

The service was pretty good too. I’d be back.

The restaurant is modern and funky. I did enjoyed most of the food, but not in an excellent level. Portions are rather small and not great value. To me, it is a bit overrated. I don't think I will visit again.

What an absolute delight for the tastebuds. We dined here on a Saturday night, as a larger group I thought service may have been slower but it was not! We had the banquet and I could not fault any of the dishes, all the food was fresh, flavorsim and delicious. The cheese burger spring rolls are quite the treat, you bite in expecting one flavour and get another. It throws you right off, but so delicious. The lamb ribs were also packing a major flavour punch. The deserts, well we are talking deep fried nutella and other delights, I don't need to say much more. A great dining experience overall, with attentive and friendly staff being a perfect touch to the evening.

Ms. G’s has to be one of the funnest restaurants in Sydney, and it has a bloody good menu to boot. The frivolity is split over four levels with a DJ on weekends, plenty of pink neon, and cocktails that go by the names of ‘Smell’s Like Gin Spirit’ and ‘Liquid Courage’. Yep, Ms. G is definitely one sassy lady.

As you’d expect, Ms. G’s Asian-fusion menu is full of personality. The burrata comes in a ‘strange flavour-style’ sesame sauce, the jaffle is filled with ‘Korean Army stew’, and poked into your doughnut ice-cream are potato chips and crispy bacon. But, the pièce de résistance is the cheeseburger spring rolls, which will forever define your life by pre and post-CSR.

This fun house always brings a crowd. So, unless you want to be left on Victoria Street crying into your sans cheeseburger spring roll hands, best to make a booking.

My fav baramundi with balinese sambal matah.. taste like Im in Bali right now.. They Make Really good Food :) and also Creative.. their spring roll also the best.. finished before I even took Photo..

Had their cheeseburger spring rolls, short rib, eggplant and brussel sprouts and the dessert
The Miniature Life
Potts Point has become one of my favourite areas in Sydney for amazing dinners. There is seriously so much variety in the area for amazing foods. We headed there for a friends surprise birthday, and in true style I rocked up about 30 minutes early. It actually gave me time to take photos, down a prosseco, and ponder over the menu for a while as we waited for the table to be prepped.
Ferry Gondo
Amazing Vietnamese inspired modern eatery. Had a nice grilled corn on the cob with cheese and lime toppings. Tried the mini baguette, which was very nice. Ambience is modern with Asian decorations.

overall a good meal at Ms G's. made a booking on a monday night and by the time we left the place was packed. good but not great.

oyster - good, nice & fresh
scallops - the sauce was really nice but overpowered the scallops completely. think it would have been nicer on a fried fish
cheese burger spring roll - interesting! actually tastes like a cheeseburger! $6 a roll is pretty pricey though
noodles in prawn bisque - the noodles were great, sauce had a nice strong prawn taste but was not really balanced flavour wise
lamb ribs - cooked really well, fell off the bone and a big portion (2 of us) but again the sauce lacked a bit
hong kongo - nice palate cleanser to finish, textures in this were great with the popping candy, apple crunch, granita. but the coconut texture was strange - it felt like fetta and just took away from the rest of this good dessert
Yumyumfoodyum
Cocktails were tasty, I loved the packaged bubble tea like container with fruit pearls! We ordered the raw scallops and I could have drank the sauce they came with, yummo! Crispy chicken wings, tender crunchy juicy morsels. The lamb ribs were were divine, the fried rice was pricey but worth it. Only thing that disappointed was the prawn special, the sauce was a bit too heavy and lacked the complexity of flavour that all the other dishes had. Service was excellent and the venue itself is a beautiful space. Would come back next time I'm in Syd.

When in Sydney for work, I'm always looking for delicious eats that are casual, tasty and not pretentious! Ms. G's has all that and more - thank you chef Dan Hong! It's underground décor coupled with friendly staff is super cool and if you like Asian fusion, Dan and his team have you covered! Favourite dishes are per images below - salt and vinegar tempura eggplant, lightly battered and so crispy.. a great bar snack or appetizer to share (or eat yourself lol) , charred corn, sticky jow's sweet and sour lamb ribs (you will need two serves of these!) and if you haven't tried the cheeseburger spring rolls... DO IT, it's their speciality. I know when in Sydney, I can always pop down to Ms G's for a great meal that doesn't disappoint!

Went here on a Sunday night at 7.30pm with a friend. We didn't have to wait and we were seated right away. Atmosphere had a nice ambience but music was a bit loud. Wouldn't reccommend for a first date.

The chiang mai gyoza was the best and my favourite dish of the night. I see myself coming back and ordering just the dumplings. The dumplings had a nice sweet and sour sauce on top which tasted like the thai tom yum soup. We also had the calamari pancake which was good but quite expensive. You can have better pancakes elsewhere and for half the price.
My friend and i also tried the tom yum fried rice. My friend loves it. I thought it was lacking in flavour so i wasn't a big fan. All i tasted was the tom yum flavouring and rice. Nothing else. Not the fried rice I'm used to where theres an abundance of ingredients.@
The cripsy fried chicken wings was nice too. Would have it again but again, quite pricy.
Our bill was about $80 per person including drinks.

Loved the ambiance of the place and all the service staff were super nice so they started off really well. Then we ordered the cheese burger sring roll and king fish and we loved those. But definitively the spare rib and the aubergine were delish! Finally we had the coconut sorbet with apple granita and they were very accomodating with my lactose intolerant hubby so we had a gret time and an amazing meal!
Loved it!

Mickey mouse Vietnamese food. Place hasn't kept the quality it started with. The cheese burger spring roll and ribs is interesting to try. Cocktails are good. Skip the crispy calamari pancake. Desserts are not great. Food is generally expensive for what is served. Toilets smell and are not clean.
Jen
Cheeseburger spring rolls and chicken katsu the highlights :) so yummy. Can't wait to go back to try more things !!! We had the calamari pancake , chicken wings and lamb ribs too
Jenny Yong
Ordered the banquet menu - 10 dishes at $67 p.p. which is good for a first-timer. People were not lying when they said that the cheeseburger springrolls are delicious! The highlight of my night was the Hongo Bongo dessert - the strawberry sangria, watermelon balls and the mochi were exquisite elements of the dish that left me wanting more. Would go back just for that dessert dish (first pic) which was a 10/10 for me. Food was 6/10.

Great menu! Lively .. you can order food upstairs while you're waiting to be seated downstairs as they don't take bookings so a wait could be up to 2 hrs.
Interesting cuisine fusions, exaggerated tastes in a pretty well done kinda way. Music way too loud - though that seems to be the theme in Sydney eateries I have found..
Air conditioning kept dripping on my friend's shoulder..
But overall a great place to eat. Very tasty!
Also in close walking distance to the kings cross bars should you feel the need for some after dinner drinks, though miss G's caters quite well to that too!
Love At First Bite
Find us on instagram: loveatfirstbite_aus

Ms Gs is an inventive Asian fusion restaurant by Justin Hemme’s Merivale situated in a spacious 4-level space with funky wall art and high ceilings. I had heard great things about this place however they are usually packed on Friday and Saturday night so we decided to venture to Darlinghurst for a casual Saturday lunch. Read on for our full review!

Not great value for the vegetarian banquet.
Came here with a large group and four of us were vegetarian or vegan. We watched as the meat eaters in our group had more and more food piled on for them, while we made do with a few small dishes suitable for 1-2 people, but shared between 4. It's a pity, because the food was delicious, so we would have liked some more! Also, instead of coming up with vegan substitues for certain dishes, they simply took them off the banquet menu - but didn't reduce the price! The vegetarians ended up paying $57 for a small amount of food, while the regular banquet is $67 and was an ample amount (plus - meat is more expensive). I don't know if they just mis-catered today, or if this is a regular thing, but they should know that just because someone is vegan or vegetarian, it doesn't mean they don't like to eat! All in all, I left feeling incredibly ripped off.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my work mates at Ms G's in Potts Point. I've heard great things about Ms G's and their famous burger spring rolls. As we are dining in a group - we go with the banquet. The banquet is $67 with a requirement of 4 people or more. As we sip on wine, we eagerly await a delicious banquet. Ms G's is modern Asian fusion so there's lots of different dishes to try. FOR FULL REVIEW AND PHOTOS GO TO THE BLOG POST

Couldn’t make a reservation for Sunday night at Ms. G’s because they were fully booked, but were able to get a table in the bar on the top floor. Knew what to choose because boyfriend had been here several times before. Had a mocktail that tasted not nice at all, it looked good though. The cheeseburger spring roll is strange but worth trying out. Kingfish was amazing! Burrata really good as well. We also had a noodle dish which was nice Weren’t completely full but sort of tried everything that we wanted to try so went somewhere else for dessert.

My all-time favourite Sydney restaurant! Every time I visit this place, I discover something new. The burrata is one of my favourites, it has so much flavour. If you don't mind a bit of spice, try the Thai Colada cocktail - amazing!
Sim Choroomi
One of my favourite Potts point restaurants - excellent place for small groups or if you have visitors to Sydney. There are always positive vibes here..Venue is nice, staff friendly and the food is uniquely different and tasty. It can get a little too noisy but that's part of the msgs experience!

Ms Gs is a pretty popular place. It's done well for itself, however I thought the food was average.

I got the Brussel sprouts, noodles with prawn and Angus beef ribs and while the dishes were good, they weren't amazing.
Ms. G's is a high energy restaurant, definitely not a place for a quiet dinner with the family. If you don't mind a bit of noise, especially as the evening wears on, then you'll be at home here.

The food was good in most cases, although I have to say that only a few were exceptional.

For my part, the lamb was incredibly well done, and I enjoyed the cheeseburger spring rolls too.

The lamb ribs were so succulent and fell right off the bone, and insanely well-cooked. So tender and juicy, I wish I'd gotten a few more servings of these.

The cheeseburger spring rolls were great, too. It was an interesting and novel sensation - imagine the taste of minced meat, ketchup, cheese, wrapped in spring roll pastry.

The remainder of the dishes that I sampled were... at least in my view, deficient in one or more key ways. That's not to say that they weren't good - they were - but they weren't... "great". Sorry. Should that put you off from coming? Not in the slightest.

The service was good, though the good came out slower than I care for. Everyone was friendly and attentive, so there's not more I could ask for.

tl;dr Lively atmosphere, some good dishes and a few great ones, and good service. Recommended! 👌

Damn this food was tasty. The cocktails are unique with Asian inspired twists. Which makes for a party in your mouth.
100% worth a visit if you can deal with the loud music!

Been there for like 4 times minimum and their food was definitely one of the best in all of the restaurants I have been. Loved every single dish, especially the lamb ribs and pork tail, maybe because I am a huge fan of those sweet and sticky sauce😋

I made a reservation for Ms. G's aprox. with 1 month notice.
The service at the restaurant was the worst I ever saw. I arrived at 8.15pm for a reservation at 8.30m. At 8:45 we were sill waiting at the bar. At 8.45 when we notice that a couple that just arrived were sited in a table for 2 we went to talk with the person responsible and he sited us in a big table in the worst seat ever.

After that we waited at least one hour for the food. All the people in our table that arrived after us were already eating.
A regular favourite - we attended on Thurs 13th April 2017 and everything was amazing (as always). Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service (without being intrusive). The burrata is to die for and I hope they don't take it off the menu as it is our main reason for choosing this place time after time. The rest of the menu is also fantastic

The banquet menu here is an absolute DELIGHT! If you're not here for the banquet, I've listed below (in order of deliciousness) what you MUST order:
1. Cheeseburger spring rolls: Very decently sized spring rolls filled with lots of oozing cheese mixed with beef burger patty - it's a genius combination, honestly!
2. Sweet & Sour Lamb Ribs: The meat just completely falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. So flavoursome and juicy.
3. Char Siu Pork Belly: I'm usually not a fan of char siu, especially when thickly cut but these were so tender and went so well with that fresh pineapple kim chi
4. Mini Chicken Katsu Banh Mi: What makes this dish is the chicken - absolutely crispy on the outside but perfectly cooked on the inside. The portion of chicken is generous but the flavour will leave you wanting more.
5. Both desserts (pictured) - Omar's Mess and Stoner's Delight Part 3: What made Omar's Mess fruit and light - what made it special was the jackfruit sorbet, a great way to refresh the palette in between polishing off the Stoner's Delight Part 3 - a rich, sweet & salty dessert. I loved the crunch of the peanut butter brittle hidden underneath the ice cream and raspberries.

I actually enjoyed Omar's Mess more than Stoner's Delight Part 3 but they're 2 very different desserts.
The Dear Luncher
What a superb experience. Superb food, superb service. Buzzing, lively ambience. This intrepid Melburnian food glutton thoroughly enjoyed his dining experience at Miss G's. The Dear Luncher approves. It will prove difficult to not at at Miss G's again.

Ms G is probably what all restaurants in Sydney should aspire to be - excellent service, excellent and creative food. I have tried four dishes and all of them surprise me - much more than expensive fine-dining restaurants like Sepia or Bennelong.

I was fifteen minutes earlier than their opening hours but the waitress ushered me inside and began table service.

I tried their mini banh me, tom yum wings, masala fried rice and stoner's delights. All of them are MUST TRY dishes if you are living in Sydney. Their combination of east-west food and use of sauces were creative.

Take Masala fried rice for example, the use of traditional Masala sauce in the fried rice enhanced the taste and opened up your appetite.
The tom yum wings was not overly salty yet tasted sour and spicy concurrently. The dessert surprised me with every single bite. How I wish the China Dolls, Sepias, Bennelongs or Lumis could be more creative like Ms G

4.5/5

Updated: My second trip to Ms G was an utter disappointment and this suggested that they were simply unable to keep up with their standards or they are plan inconsistent.

I tried their noodles, Banh Mi and Chicken Wings. Their tom yum wings were not well marinated this time round and lacked consistency. The prawn noodles was absolutely ordinary as the gravy appeared too peripheral to the noodles.

2/5

I'd recommended this place 100%!!! Most staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The vibe at this place is great and I loved the setting and decoration. The food was also very good! Do not miss the cheeseburger spring rolls! I tried the lamb ribs as well and i felt in bbq heaven...so tasty! Wow! The only thing I would suggest is trying soft flavoured food first because the ribs just take over and do not let you appreciate the other meals which are actually very good. I'm coming back to this place, its not cheap but its worth it.

Very cool space, and amazing food. We had the cheeseburger spring rolls for the novelty and they actually tasted like the real deal lol. Then the raw tuna starter which was unbelievably good followed by the lamb ribs which were delish and the pork belly with the corn salad as a side. The corn was good but still on the cob which made it a little tricky to eat delicately. I will definitely be going back and getting the lamb and tuna again - highly recommended.

The food was amazing! The calamari Salad and chicken wings that came with an amazing tom yum mayo were to die for. It is quite loud in there though so pretty hard to hear each other
Kelkel
Great atmosphere, good music, delicious meal and good selection of drinks for a responsible price! We enjoyed the wings, octopus fettuccini, gyoza dumplings and chicken rolls. Would recommend and we will no doubt visit again. Close to the kings cross station for those that want to catch a train.

Poor service, food took ages to come out. They put an item on the bill which they did not even bring out. Music was way too loud to hold a conversation and they didn't play old school music like they advertise.

Great atmosphere, quick service and creative food! Loved the cheeseburger spring rolls and stoner's delight. A great experience and great atmosphere. Parking can be hard in peak time so give enough time to find a spot before your reservation!

Always delighted by Ms. G's. The potato chip / brownie dessert has got to be one of my favourite desserts in Sydney. Service is always friendly and down to earth. Great drinks. The music at the upstairs bar is good fun too.
DAMMIT JANET I LOVE FOOD
Brilliant experience at a place where the menu is quirky and interesting, the atmosphere buzzing, and the service quite speedy considering how busy this place is.
The Next Rush
Ms G's provided an incredible dining experience. From the super friendly and knowledgeable staff to the pumping rnb music to the oh so delicious food - everything about this place was perfect.

We ordered 3 starters. First was the chicken katsu banh mi. This was like a fried chicken mini burger with veggies and a flavoursome lightly chilli sauce. The chicken was crispy and moist, and the ratios of bread to fillings to sauce was just right. It packed an amazing punch, and was definitely one of the highlights of our meal.

Next was the cheeseburger spring roll. Not a cheeseburger and a spring roll, but literally both of them combined. It tasted like a blended up cheeseburger was wrapped inside the gorgeously flaky spring roll pastry. It was strange but incredible and delicious at the same time. You could taste the mince with hints of mustard, ketchup, pickles and cheese in there. So good!

The prawn toast was another amazing dish. Often with prawn toast you can taste the oil leaking out and it's predominantly just bread. But this one had a yummy, juicy big prawn on top of some crispy but not oily toast. It was done really, really well.

For mains, we had the brussel sprouts and the calamari pasta. There brussel sprouts were not just plain old boring sprouts, there were other veggies mixed in (omg those mushrooms!!!) and the sweet, sweet sauce. Yum. It was nice to have a bit of veggies with all of the protein and carbs. You know, just so I could feel better about myself.

The calamari and squid ink pasta was also a highlight. I feel like I'm saying that about every dish, but this one.... Omg that sauce! It was slightly spicy, slightly salty, but completely delicious. The calamari was also cooked perfectly so it wasn't chewy. Blistered cherry tomatoes and a few greens lifted the dish even more. It not only looked divine, but tasted beautiful too!

For dessert, I had the infamous stoners delight. It had deep fried nutella(!!!), Mars bar cookies, donut flavoured ice cream, bacon, potato chips, raspberries - I'm probably missing some stuff too. As you can imagine, it was sweet, indulgent and 100% yum! It sounds excessive, but it was actually balanced quite well. Delicious, delicious perfection.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. The food was flawless, the service was so friendly - the staff were happy to have a chat - and the restaurant itself is gorgeous too. I will certainly be back.

I had heard so much about this place and it lives up to the hype! The bar upstairs has a fun cocktail menu and good service. The menu downstairs is unique and delicious. The cheeseburger spring rolls are great (they taste better then they sound, I promise!). I would also recommend the chicken wings with Tom yum mayo and the fried sweet corn.

We came here because of the cheeseburger spring rolls and they did not fail us. Also enjoy the raw kingfish and kale salad. Must try the desserts!
