Review Chur Burger Surry Hills - Sydney

Visited early one Saturday evening before all the reserved tables were full. Lucky to get in! Though sadly we couldn’t get the beef burgers. This meant we were on to a winner?! The fried chicken burger was succulent and tasty. Service was great! Will definitely be returning to try the beef burger and get that extra star! A booking is recommended during the reduced capacity Covid times. Don’t miss out like we did! 4 stars. Update: The beef burgers are awesome! Must visit!

Very tasty burgers! Price is very reasonable as well! The burger size is huge too! The chicken salt potato gems are great. It would just be great if there are more options for sides. For example, chicken wings or onion rings. I would go back again to try other burgers for sure and hope to have more sides options for the specials!

Up in Sydney for a conference and came across this little gem. Pictured is the Big Mama with double Angus. It was a bit difficult to compress and get a nice bite out of it. Great vibes in this place with some view of the kitchen, which I enjoy. Great customer service too, hope this place does well through COVID.

One of my favourites burger joint! The place is great, very lively and the wait staff always been very helpful and friendly. Can’t beat the classic beef and the pulled pork burger - two of my faves! But unfortunately the last time I went there, the quality seemed to go downhill a little. The burger was a little bland and the sweet potato chips were a little burnt. Perhaps it was one of those days on their side.

Forgot how good these burgers are! Haven’t been back for a few years since it opened & think it’s better than when it opened. Only minus was that the chips were undercooked. The potato gems were cooked crispy & the sweet potato fries were great as well. I had the CFC & was amazing! Loved every bite!

Great burger place. Excellent friendly service. Burgers are very nice, you can specify how you like them cooked. Little bit pricey, but that comes with the territory for gourmet burgers these days. Funky interior design with wall paintings. Highly recommended

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. The place wasn’t so crowded, we ordered and food came out quickly. The staff was really friendly and we had the ‘Biggie Stalls’ and the ‘CFC’ burgers with sweet potato fries. If you like your burgers slathered in sauce which drips down your hands you’ll love this place. Personally I like my burgers to be a bit more manageable !!😉👍🏼 The buns were probably the best part and overall a good balance, I’d ask for the sauce on the side next time though !

Food: Amazing! I loved the char patties which were super juicy and flavour filled - which is rare with a char grill. Price: Reasonably priced and as expected for a gourmet burger joint. A burger will cost between $12-20. Service: Staff are awesome, the owner is regularly working on the floor! Parking: Difficult during the week. I'd suggest getting a train to central station and walking.
