Review Gelatissimo - Sydney

Good variety of ice cream flavours and great coffee. Indoor and alfresco seating. Very helpful and cheerful staff, makes the ice cream experience more wonderful. Good stop in between walks and nearby Rocks weekend markets.

Great People. They love serving and help in select the right gelato to our mood. Nice little outdoor area at the back.

The ice cream in the bins are cool! Very tasty and unique flavors. I had the Salted Macadamia. The gelatos are high quality, with real toppings inside, and unique flavors. Would recommend!

Very tasty, staffs are very kind and respectful. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 3 yrs. I make a visit at least once a week. Highly recommended šŸ™‚šŸ‘

This is iced moca which is 7 dollars.. No topping with cream I know another gelatissimo that served me with icecream topping but in here there is nothing. Hot moca regular size is 5 and iced moca is 7 . So ice costs 2dollars haha. Also the table was dirty and I realized that my arms and clothes are dirty after out of the shop .

What does a sweet tooth and crazy for ice creams need .. a good ice cream shop and this one is. Loved having Choco honey ice cream . Love the way they have sugar free ice creams which taste way much better than regular ones.

The best coffee my mother had in Sydney and such a range of amazing ice cream flavours, from the chocolately to the fruit-astic

What a disappointing experience. I walked in with my family at 8pm on New Yearā€™s Eve. The line was average, not too long, there were 2 people ahead of me...so I thought it wouldnā€™t be too long a wait. 10 mins later and Iā€™m still waiting. By this stage the line was out the door. There was ONE staff serving, at a snails pace. She looked miserable (to be honest if I was left to serve alone, I would be too, so canā€™t blame her there). Went to order and they had sold out of espresso flavour...then was told chocolate (of all flavours!) was sold out too! Nothing worse than waiting nearly 20minutes to be served, be told the flavours you want are not available and staff serving you looked shitty! Go to Royal Copenhagen to get your ice cream instead...they are only up the road a few shops!

Service was so slow, felt sorry for the staff, just looked like a lack of training on managements part. After a very long wait I received a very ordinary milkshake. I have had the exact same milkshake at Noosa and it was great.

Service was slow instead of serving a couple together it took two staff members to serve a husband and wife. My kids and i were waiting for a good 5 min before served

Talk about a sugar rush. Who doesn't enjoy desserts two scoops of choice between two waffles. Good value for money compared to the one scoop.

I normally judge an ice cream place by their service and by their hazelnut gelato flavour.
Gelatissimo has been consistent in good hazelnut gelato so Iā€™ve decided to try other flavours.
A friend invited me to try their new death by chocolate range (they constantly have new flavours added !) and I couldnā€™t resist.
I still think itā€™s one of the best gelatos in Sydney !
For this chocolate range they also included Lindt in one of the flavours and I loved it !
Staff is smiley and helpful , what more can you ask in a gelato place ? :)

Love At First Bite
Gelatissimo in collaboration with Reece Hignell, a contestant on Masterchef Australia, have recently released their new premium range including 3 new flavours of gelato. I have a huge fan of their high quality and delicious creations so could not wait to try them on their launch night. The first flavour was Choc dipped strawberries; strawberries and cream gelato with chunks of real strawberries mixed with milk and white chocolate. This was the lightest flavour, the fruity chunks of strawberries cut through the sweet milk and white chocolate nicely.

What not to love having espresso gelato on hot day like today?
Personally, i would like to have more caffeine kick in the flavour but I guess it just me.
Flavour was good, I tried the mango sorbet with sunkissed coconut and itā€™s awesome too.

Delicious gelato located right in the heart of the rocks! An iconic location with plenty of seating inside to enjoy a scoop of your favourite gelato, there are so many flavours to choose from. We were able to try out the new deluxe range gelato collaboration with Reece Highnell. The three deluxe range flavours are absolutely delicious and a definitely a hit for spring and soon to be summer.
The Next Rush
OMG - had the pleasure of attending the launch of the new Deluxe Range unveiled by artisan dessert Masterchef, Reece Hignall and there is so much to love about the 3 new flavours. Ā From the Choc Dipped Strawberries and Golden Macadamia helato swirled with caramel and topped with golden blondie chunks, for me - the Wicked Double choc brownie wins hands down. Ā That soft milkiness of italian gelato accentuated with chunks of double choc brownies!!!! Ā Hello summer! Ā Can't wait for the rest of the range to come out in the next couple of months - because I'm the first in line!

My first 'meal' when I got at Sydney was here. It's so near where I stayed and it invited me while I was walking around the neighborhood. The place is well kept, clean and colorful, thanks to its wide range of gelato flavors.Ā

I forgot the names of what I got specifically maybe because of brain freeze. The weather was 12 degrees when I got two kinds, Dark Chocolate Orange and Salted Caramel varieties. These two were incredibly creamy and bursting with its ingredients. I like the chocolate more though for its bitter sweet paired with citrus sweet orange.Ā

I also appreciated that the lone staff was accommodating. He even granted my request of separating the two flavors to two cups. I just paid anĀ additional 50 cents AUD.

Friendly staff, good flavours...Happy to let me try a few whilst I made the difficult decision of which to choose! Hazelnut is my flavour recommendationšŸ˜ƒ

Stopped by to grab something sweet with the little siblings and tried the cookies and cream, veronese chocolate and choc mint. Nice range of flavours and prices are pretty standard. Staff were friendly and very patient while we decided on our flavours.
