This is a great coffee shop tucked away in the back streets of Paddington. With a good atmosphere and boutiquie feel it is a must visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
I really like this place! Food is very good! The ambiance is so nice and relax. I highly recommended chicken salad! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
I stepped in for a quick breakfast before work. This is a small deli cafe with good coffee. The food is pre prepared and presented well at the counter. With all of the usual deli meats, cheese and anipasto accompaniments.
This is a friendly neighbourhood haunt with what seems to be a number of dog enthusiasts having a coffee and socialising out the front.
This time I had a ham and cheese crossaint and a macchiato. The crossaint was nice and I particularly enjoyed the macchiato, it was well made.
I will be back for a lunch visit to try the antipasto and the tuna salad everone has raved about in their reviews.
This is one of my most favourite cafes. The tuna Salad is so delicious and the little treats in the cabinet window are a must. You'll feel like you're in Italy when you walk in and the service is great. If you're after deli meats this place is also great! X
Just dropped by randomly as we were driving by. right on closing and the owner (?) was super friendly and kindly helped us with a quick caffeine dose despite closing. Lovely coffee made really well and a nice neighbourhood feel!
Visited for coffee (very good) Saturday morning. Prompt friendly service in lovely relaxed quirky surroundings. Food looked excellently presented and would have stayed but too small for a family of 5 with buggy!
Patience is required, but the coffee is perfect!!

Lovely coffee & food. Yes, it can get way busy in this little cafe and you might have to wait a while for your order, but all the food is made from fresh top-quality produce and is therefore delectable -- and of course the coffee is always excellent.

Wonderful. "Meravigliosa". The food and atmosphere here in Paddington Alimentari is just meravigliosa. The setting is bellissimo - looking out to the apex of Hopetoun and William Sts. And the staff were attentive and helpful.
We ordered two salads: tuna and goats cheese; and schnitzel and aioli. My tuna salad had the finest of ingredients, was the right size and drizzled with quality olive oil. ( See my pic). My wife's schnitzel was succulent, soft and delizioso. She loved her meal.
Coffee brand is Allpress - and the soy milk used is Bonsoy. So the coffee was perfetto.
The cake selection looked very appealing. In fact, had we been able to, we would have fressed on one - or two. But alas the salads were huge and no room for dessert.
Aside from the table service, the restaurant also sells a selection of quality produce -pastas, olive oils, vinegars, condiments, sauces, breads. Rustically decorated, the venue looks like something from the Old Country.
Will I return? Sicuramente and soon I hope. Well done!!
Love this place! The food is truly excellent. The back room is airy and a pleasant space in which to eat. This time I had the vegetarian salad and I wish Alimentari was in my town as I'd eat it at least twice a week. Looks to have a great range of produce and takeaway food as well.
Cute corner cafe and continental deli set in a tree lined street of the beautiful Paddington. Great coffee, friendly staff makes this buzzing cafe a great spot for locals. Italian delicacies are everywhere to be found from crunchy paninis to delicious desserts. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu!

Set in a peaceful street of Sydney’s Paddington, this cafe is a great quick pit stop for coffee! We decided to “dine-in” (it can get awfully busy and finding a table seemed to be impossible, but if you’re fine sitting out front on a bench then you’re good!) and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the coffees served. I returned the next day for a takeaway coffee too - highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area 👍🏼
WOW, what a stunning cafe nestled away in a beautiful street of Paddington.
It will take you back to Italy the moment you walk through the door.
Interiors, staff, food, coffee, down to every single interior piece has been carefully thought of.
I dont think you can actually order anything wrong here.
Child out at the front of the cafe or inside in the little courtyard - a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle.
Tip for parents: right at the back, accessible through the back gate is a small children's playground. You're welcome.
