Love this place! The food is truly excellent. The back room is airy and a pleasant space in which to eat. This time I had the vegetarian salad and I wish Alimentari was in my town as I'd eat it at least twice a week. Looks to have a great range of produce and takeaway food as well.

It's been a long rode for this paddo stalwart. At one time, this place was as real as a pre filled lip. It was a trip to a five dock Italian delicatessen..ok, with a little geographic premium. Lately, things have moved back to the field. Today, the sandwiches and salads are as ordinary as Nubira station wagon. But it's been a few years since I've had anything five dock worthy. Hopefully, they'll come out of the grief that the whole industry is going through, stronger and stalwart worthy.

Cute corner cafe and continental deli set in a tree lined street of the beautiful Paddington. Great coffee, friendly staff makes this buzzing cafe a great spot for locals. Italian delicacies are everywhere to be found from crunchy paninis to delicious desserts. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu!

Set in a peaceful street of Sydney’s Paddington, this cafe is a great quick pit stop for coffee! We decided to “dine-in” (it can get awfully busy and finding a table seemed to be impossible, but if you’re fine sitting out front on a bench then you’re good!) and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the coffees served. I returned the next day for a takeaway coffee too - highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area 👍🏼

WOW, what a stunning cafe nestled away in a beautiful street of Paddington.
It will take you back to Italy the moment you walk through the door.
Interiors, staff, food, coffee, down to every single interior piece has been carefully thought of.
I dont think you can actually order anything wrong here.
Child out at the front of the cafe or inside in the little courtyard - a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle.
Tip for parents: right at the back, accessible through the back gate is a small children's playground. You're welcome.

We sat at the back garden. It looked nice and peaceful. It had a good vibe at the first moment. However we were wrong. It's part of the kitchen and staff makes so much noise which we tried to ignored. Then (suppose the owner - older lady) started spraying all then surfaces with Windex willy nilly. I mean all over! We started sneezing. I bet some of those chemicals landed on food being prepared as well. Packed and left!

I stepped in for a quick breakfast before work. This is a small deli cafe with good coffee. The food is pre prepared and presented well at the counter. With all of the usual deli meats, cheese and anipasto accompaniments. <br/>This is a friendly neighbourhood haunt with what seems to be a number of dog enthusiasts having a coffee and socialising out the front.<br/>This time I had a ham and cheese crossaint and a macchiato. The crossaint was nice and I particularly enjoyed the macchiato, it was well made.<br/>I will be back for a lunch visit to try the antipasto and the tuna salad everone has raved about in their reviews.

This is one of my most favourite cafes. The tuna Salad is so delicious and the little treats in the cabinet window are a must. You'll feel like you're in Italy when you walk in and the service is great. If you're after deli meats this place is also great! X

Some people know of Paddington Alimentari as an Italian deli stocked with meats, cheese, breads, olive oil, sauces, pasta and anything else that’s Italian. I know of Paddington Alimentari as a place to get great coffee and hazelnut biscotti. I saw this tiny establishment once I reached the end of William Street, Paddington after boutique shopping along that road last weekend. Paddington Alimentari is the bridge between the retail shops and residential terraces, situated on the corner of William Street and Hopetoun Street in Paddington. Usually, in my experience the best places to shop, eat or drink coffee in Sydney are places that you can’t see, well away from the main roads. This is just another one. The establishment has no website, so you will only know about if you stumble across it or someone else tells you about it. The cafe doubles as a deli, stocking a range of gourmet pantry products of mainly Italian influence, like pasta and passata. There is also an antipasto counter, and a display of pastries and baked goods that are supplied by various stockists, such as slices of the famous Pasticceria Papa cheesecake. Seating at the front of the shop is limited, with two central tables and a few bar seats against the wall and front window, plus a bench outside. Italiana touches like a wicker basket and lemon patterned tea towel hang from the ceiling and warm, dark wooden floorboards used as ceiling enhance the crowded but cosy feel. We nabbed a spot against the wall, though later discovered that there is also a courtyard with more roomy seating out the back.

Just dropped by randomly as we were driving by. right on closing and the owner (?) was super friendly and kindly helped us with a quick caffeine dose despite closing. Lovely coffee made really well and a nice neighbourhood feel!

Snobbish!. I want to like Paddington Alimentari...their coffee is pretty good, their food is of nice quality but their service has always been snobbish and rude. I live close by and each time I have gone in I literally feel like they are turning their nose up to me. Life is too short to act snobbish towards others, especially folks who service you establishment.

Lovely coffee & food. Yes, it can get way busy in this little cafe and you might have to wait a while for your order, but all the food is made from fresh top-quality produce and is therefore delectable -- and of course the coffee is always excellent.

Wonderful. "Meravigliosa". The food and atmosphere here in Paddington Alimentari is just meravigliosa. The setting is bellissimo - looking out to the apex of Hopetoun and William Sts. And the staff were attentive and helpful.<br/><br/>We ordered two salads: tuna and goats cheese; and schnitzel and aioli. My tuna salad had the finest of ingredients, was the right size and drizzled with quality olive oil. ( See my pic). My wife's schnitzel was succulent, soft and delizioso. She loved her meal.<br/><br/>Coffee brand is Allpress - and the soy milk used is Bonsoy. So the coffee was perfetto. <br/><br/>The cake selection looked very appealing. In fact, had we been able to, we would have fressed on one - or two. But alas the salads were huge and no room for dessert.<br/><br/>Aside from the table service, the restaurant also sells a selection of quality produce -pastas, olive oils, vinegars, condiments, sauces, breads. Rustically decorated, the venue looks like something from the Old Country.<br/><br/>Will I return? Sicuramente and soon I hope. Well done!!
