Review Bhoomi Restaurant - Sydney

The appearance of the restaurant was very clean and well looked after with a modern Indian culture design. The waiter provided excellent service and seated our group of 10 very quickly. We ordered the banquet which came out timely. The Indian music played in the background gave an upbeat Bollywood vibe. The food was tasty and was well presented, the price was reasonable and servings were plentiful. I highly recommend the mango Lassi.

Can't fault the restaurant. Seriously delicious and well presented food. Great service. Really enjoyed the beautiful decor and space (quite unique). Loved the cultural food fusion (Indian take on the Italian gnocchi and Chinese Peking duck pancakes blew my mind). First time we tried Kulfi (similar to ice cream) - it's a must try if you go!

Wonderful!!! Easily one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food is amazing! From the incredible flavors to the beautiful presentation. Every bite was a beautiful bouquet of flavor. Edible flowers adorn the dishes, the mix of flavors, textures is simply amazing. The ambiance and decor is magical! There isn't a more gorgeous restaurant in Sydney. The service is attentive without being intrusive. This will be a hatted restaurant.

Great ambience and the feel is real authentic Indian feel. The decor is great and the food is not very overpowering. I can rarely have a normal tummy after eating Indian food at other restaurants but I felt great after having the food here. Will come back. The location is great and the bar looks so cool.

I walked past Bhoomi a few times and finally decided to dine here. First time just a few a la carte dishes and promised to return to try the Degustation menu. We had the Taste of Bhoomi ($85pp) and really enjoyed everything. We were constantly expecting the next surprises and not only are them presented beautifully, but tasted really good. I’d highly recommend this place if you want a degustation dining that you can’t find elsewhere in Sydney!

This is another Indian restaurant in the heart of the city offering authentic indian food with interesting fusion concept. It is quite expensive but good for an occasion. Chicken tikka and dal makhani was our favourite along with palak paneer knocci. The desserts like kulfi and jalebi were really good and wonderful chai to complete the lunch. The cocktails were interesting but personally were not my favourite. It has got wonderful interiors, ample space and wonderful music. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Dining here was such a pleasant experience. The service was great, staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was just as great! Definitely recommend the prawn tikka masala, palak paneer gnocci and phulka pancakes which was like an Indian fusion of Chinese duck pancakes. So good and so filling. Great atmosphere with dim lights and spacious interiors. I would definitely recommend this place!

The menu has great promise, but fulfillment using the Bhoomi website does not work. After scheduling an order, I received confirmation of delivery and my credit card was debited. It then took several phone calls to get the delivery to actually happen. The food arrived cool.
Steer clear!

We had an early dinner after finding this venue on zomato. Tried the crab curry n dosa like something called hopper. Loved the cocktails with cicken tikka. Gonna be here again.

This was a great experience overall. The interior designer deserves some credit here, it is a beautifully designed space. It’s reminiscent of ancient stone ruins, and the food is just as good. Too many restaurants miscalculate in the name of innovation, and lose the essence of their chosen cuisine, but I’m pleased to say that Bhoomi is both innovative, and authentic. The cocktail menu is particularly interesting; we tried the smoky chingali, which was an Indus Valley twist on the margarita with notes of tamarind and black salt. I have a very erratic relationship with tequila, but this went down very smoothly. Can’t wait to go back!

I like to start by saying, what an amazing decor of the venue. It looks like you have entered a 1920 bunker home.
We ordered can curry, tamarind mezcal cocktail and khichdi arancini.
The food was delicious abs service sas swift. Highly recommend checking this hidden gem.
Full disclosure- Had a 50% discount voucher.

Ordered the banquet and frankly had to take away a third of it. It's just massive amount of food. Some of the dishes are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the kulfi.

Great place, beautiful interior and food to match. definitely coming back here, especially for the lamb curry and the hoppers. Sat by the kitchen and saw soo much yummy looking food coming out so will get more dishes next time.

Bhoomi is a gorgeous, modern Indian restaurant just newly opened in Glebe, with a contemporary, global influence on some dishes in the fusion menu. We decided to go with the Taste of Bhoomi degustation menu for dinner ($85 per person) to sample more of their signature dishes in one hit. We started off the meal with the crunchy Holi Pappadum crisps, which came in three different flavours (including the vividly coloured beetroot variant) and were topped with a delicious Smoked Salmon Mousse.
