Beautiful presentation and simply delicious. I had the chicken bowl with chilli rice which was full of flavour. Around the table we also had lamb papadelle and roast chicken which was also thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Floor to ceiling walls wrap around the restaurant and slide open into the front outdoor area. Meat hooks, knives, sharpeners incorporated into the decor. The artillery for slicing and dicing celebrated in the heavenly menu of meat. Influences from Asia and Europe delicately weave in and out of the modern Australian dishes of freshly made tartare, kingfish and tiger prawn. Fall off the bone ribs, rich sauces and sesame caught on the sticky glaze.

I was here in a big group for dinner a few weeks back and I’m already planning my visit back! The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly! The must try dishes are definitely the duck patte and the ribs! They literally melt in your mouth! I only wished we ordered more! They also have a great selection of wines to match it to your meal! highly recommend this place👌🏼
Located in urban hub of Sydney, providing a luxury dining experience all day round, brunch in Barangaroo has never sounded better. With an exciting cocktail menu for those summer and winter afternoons. I had amazing experience here. Yummiii prawn is my favourite.
Had an amazing selection of delicious entrees here and wine and was blown away by the superb service, the attentive staff, the delicious food and the wine. Such an awesome time! Thanks Hungry Diner for the best time!

We had the pleasure of dining here and I must say it was a great experience!
Some of the dishes we tried were, Steak Tartare, Duck Patte, Grilled Prawns and Mouthwathering Lamb Ribs!
Very helpful staff and the service was five star!
A favourite of mine is now at Barangaroo and I was so excited to try their new venue out!
Located along Barangaroo Avenue, their vibes are rustic and casual. A stunning place for a mid week pick me up, which is exactly what we were enjoying!
Getting to taste a selection of their share plates and entrees, I was really impressed by the punchy flavours and the beautiful presentation. Not over the top and pretentious, but simple and thought out to let the fresh produce shine.
Staff were relaxed and friendly; making me feel right at home! Would happily take friends and family here for a feed!
If you’re looking for a great starter, the duck parfait would be my pick. That sweet bacon chutney with the creamy pate was such a delicious pairing!

Really enjoyed my visit to the Butchers Block group!
Good atmosphere and not too dark, the food was beautiful with a few highlights 👌
The must order for entrees are the duck patte, steak tartare with quail eggs, the prawns and those ribs were delicious!! Ribs fell off the bone, the steak tartare was beautifully seasoned but that duck patte was the winner! A beautifully smooth and rich flavour.
Great red chianti here and the staff are super attentitive even with a large group. That patte was simply to die for and I'd return simply for that and a glass of red 🥂
Had the pleasure of dining here last week with a group of friends and it was one to remember for sure.
Food and wine was absolutely amazing. I'd highly recommend the steak tartare and the duck pate if you're stuck on a decision. I've never been much of a fan of either, but this has definitely changed my mind.
I can't believe I've never been here before! I was really pleased with their selection of food.
It had a very Italian venue and the plates were really well presented too.
My recommendation for your next visit would be the lamb ribs they have with chimichurri sauce. The meat is so soft it just so easy to remove from the bone. I'm not a big fan of pate to be honest but I tried this one and I really liked the combination they made with some sweet tones and accompanied by good bread.
Here in the pictures you can also see the cauliflower, the tartare meat (I didn't try this but the egg, I really don't like raw meat) and the prawns.
Definitely worth the visit next time you're in Barangaroo.
You know that feeling when you’re in a three piece, standing in @thebutchersblockgroup at @thestreetsofbarangaroo holding a trio of Beef Tartar, caviar and quail eggs.
No?
Maybe that’s something you should remedy... like now!
Not to mention these rocks stars below:
♥️Duck Parfait with bacon chutney
♥️King Fish with roasted cauliflower.
♥️Garlic Prawns
♥️Mmmm those ribs
Thank you to the staff, Candy (Exec Chef) and the Butchers Block team for a great selection of entrees.

Friendly prompt service, simple casual but tasteful menu; hope people frequent this one as we did when at their home base in Wahroonga. This is a consistent & friendly eatery.
There is certainly no shortage of restaurants in Barangaroo and that also goes for steak restaurants. In this competitive (and pricey) location, if you don’t have what it takes to make it, you’re out. So I was keen to try this latest steak restaurant addition to Barangaroo, luckily it didn’t disappoint.
Black Angus flat iron steak - ordered this medium rare which is what was delivered (big tick here), and it was well seasoned and therefore I didn’t need too much mushroom sauce or any at all to enjoy my piece of steak. It comes with chips or mash, I ordered the chips as an indulgent treat. The only thing I wasn’t sure about is that the menu says it’s a flat iron steak and this was not flat or thin at all.
Brussel sprouts with macadamia, pecorino and Chardonnay vinegar. As far as sprouts go, these are pretty damn tasty! My fave element was the vinegar, the tartness balanced the natural bitterness of the sprouts. I need to try to replicate this at home!
They were so generous about the portion size for the duck parfait and it tasted good. The ribs were my highlight with the truffle potato mash. The meat slid straight off the bone and that’s when you know it’s good. It was so soft and nicely glazed with smoked maple. The Swordfish was my least favourite but I guess it makes more sense to eat meat considering it’s called the Butcher’s Block. Loved the sweetness of the lemon meringue pavlova.
In my opinion, they have the best ribs (highly recommend).
Also, the staff were really friendly and attentive.
Ordered:
🍴Duck Parfait
🍴Pork ribs drowned in smoked maple glaze with creamed truffle potato mash
🍴BBQ Swordfish Loin
🍴Lemon Meringue Pavlova

This place is pretty good and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal. The service here is efficient, warm and welcoming. It’s situated in such a great location too.
The only draw back is that it took a little too long for it too come out but it wasn’t too bad. The food itself is amazing and well worth the visit, very tasty, it is decently price too.
The Butcher’s Block have planted their culinary seed in many areas of Sydney including Wahroonga, South Hurstville, Parramatta and now with their new eatery located in Barangaroo. With an emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced organic ingredients, this is the place to get some nourishment. With a team of experienced Chefs and a magnitude of high end dining experiences, you will find this a culinary delight. The Butcher’s block team has to put multicultural elements into the menu, providing variety and excitement to the table.
Attended a sit-down dinner here at this new restaurant in Barangaroo. The dining space is very comfortable and classy. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the steaks and the the ribs - good quality and perfectly cooked. The truffle potato mash and the crispy Brussel sprouts with macadamia are MUST order😋
Loved how cozy and intimate this place was! I went on a rainy night and felt the most relaxed I've ever been at a restaurant in recent memory. It's modern and classy (chilled out to the sounds of RÜFÜS as I had my meal), but also casual enough to feel friendly. As for the food, the meat in the burger I had is, as you'd expect, super fresh and a step up from most burger meat you'll try elsewhere. Might sound strange, but I also can't remember the last time I really enjoyed the salad of the burger in particular this much...I think all the contents just compliment each other so well which resulted in one of the freshest (and not at the expense of taste) burgers I've ever tried. I'm giving this place a recommendation for sure :D
