Review Bistro Clementine - Sydney

Ambience in a cozy setting, quality food presented beautifully, small menu based on seasonal produce, personalised service properly matching menu and accompanying drinks. All this a short walk from the city; and Eric is an outstanding host. We will be back!

Went for dinner last night and this has been truly one of the best dinners out we’ve had in Sydney in 5 years of living here. The key is that it’s punching at the multiple hat restaurants, yet at a noticeably cheaper price. We enjoyed the prawn sliders and burrata for entree, the steak and pasta for mains and a beautiful bottle of wine recommended by the team. The menu isn’t big, but they do it unbelievably well. The service is also utterly outstanding - that perfect mix of friendly and knowledgeable. I say all this with a lot of sadness because I also think we went on the teams last night (completely accidentally). Whatever these guys do next, we will be there

We caught up with some friends for a Saturday dinner and we were all blown away by Bistro Clementine. The restaurant is quite tiny inside, but works so perfectly well for cosy and intimate dinner experience. The decor is also perfect and it does feel like a Parisian Bistro that you walk into. However nice the decor the food is the real star here, amazing flavours and you can tell the chef here knows how to impress. The menu is small and I believe a lot of the mains change to suite what produce is best to use that week. The Charcuterie plate was a great size with lots of meat varieties and all so fresh. The four of us all ordered the Duck Confit it was perfection, I keep on daydreaming of he duck!. The chips and shaved Zucchini salad were also delicious and perfectly salted. I simply can not wait to go back and enjoy another beautiful night of delectable food, wine in quaint surroundings. Oh I almost forgot the owners are great hosts and everything is done so effortlessly. All round it is a wonderful dinning experience and Sydney is lucky to have it.

It’s a really cute place and the Brussel sprouts side was delicious but the pasta dish was quite bland in flavour, disappointing for the price and the hype. No one asked how our meals were after it was served, right up to the bill so couldn’t give the feedback on the night. I’m sure other dishes are good as the table next to us seemed to be enjoying theirs.

I can’t believe it has taken me to long to step into Bar Clementine. A brilliant addition to the Pyrmont dining scene. Great selection of wines and cocktails, matched perfectly by the delicious food and amazing coffee provided by its sister cafe next door. Perfect for a cheeky work lunch, a nice casual dinner or drinks with friends. Highly recommend, I plan on coming back at least once a week! 👍🏼

When it's simply just a perfect place, you know you'll talk about it and come back. That's Bistro Clementine. P.s. The dessert should not be skipped, order 2.

The Croque Madame from Clementine is genuinely worth going out of your way for. They obviously put a lot of effort into getting the best ingredients and it pays off - this is the best breakfast I have had in Sydney. Excellent coffee too and great service - just an all round great place.

Lovely intimate atmosphere, always love coming here with my girlfriends for the great food, wine and service. Agree with the other reviews, let Eric choose your wine or cocktail for you!

Located just walking distance from Pyrmont Park, I came here to grab a takeaway coffee. Quick service and coffee was awesome.
Yet to try their food.

Food has been prepared with quality ingredients and is Sooooooo affordable compared to everything around. Chia pudding and the Buddha bowls are amazing. Coffee is superb and again affordable! Owner works on sight and takes a keen interest in overall quality of experience. Comments about serving size? If you expect a $20 serving but want to pay $10-12 don’t complain!

Unfriendly staff, they are arrogant and rude. I chose to go there based on their menu for breakfast only to find out that menu doesn't exist anymore. So I ordered something off the menu on the counter and the guy behind the counter was almost stoked to tell me he didn't have that either, after all that the coffee was average

We've been here a couple times already. Rueben burger is absolutely delicious. It is variable with the other food. We had a meatball sandwich recently and the meatballs were cold inside whoch was not pleasant. Coffee has been pretty good.

Cosy little Cafe away from the crowds with some good variety and daily specials. There's now a soup of a week just in time to warm you up for the winter and comes with a side of cheese melts 🤤 Don't forget to drop by for Weiner Wednesdays and grab a delicious $8 dog, with a yummy vegetarian option as well! 🙌

Great little cafe with American style food. Daily specials include hotdogs on Wednesdays which are always super popular. Coffee is super strong and a little bitter.

A lovely local cafe serves good coffee and specialized in American style food. We ordered a sandwich, a Rueben bagel and a NY hotdog. All very tasty but the serving size is a tad too small. Not quite the same American size I expected.

Cosy little cafe just off Harris St. Insta pic inspired visit which didn't disappoint. Greeted by the friendly and relaxed owner with an outstanding moustache, the cafe although small and not yet completed finished with the fit out, had an inviting feel to it.
Coffee was excellent and food to match. Dissolve in your mouth brioche bun was the highlight of my breakfast roll along with the onion jam. DG rated the hotdog highly and was particular please to find a Sydney hotdog sans pork. A hot dog for breakfast does draw a bemused look or two.
Down the quiet end of Harris st and a short walk to the harbour for a stroll after breakfast it's lovely way to start the weekend. Look forward to heading back to try more of the menu and support this little venture.

Ordered Sammich and almond flat white. Their sammich was basically baguette with cheese, fried eggs, BBQ sauce and either maple bacon or pastrami (beef). Baguette was soft and sammich tasted good. Didn't really like the almond fw. Not sure what brand of milk was used. But I only like Blue Diamond almond milk.

I am here to tell you that Clementine's is worth the trip to Pyrmont for the vegetarian Reuben alone. Imagine: chewy rye bread slathered with mustard and Russian dressing, between which sits gooey melted cheese, crisp sauerkraut, homemade pickles and a stack of umami-rich mushrooms. Obviously I can't compare it to the traditional Reuben experience, but I give it 10 outta 10 on the tasty vegetarian sandwich scale.

They also do great coffee and the service is top notch. I only wish I lived closer to Pyrmont so I could call it my local!

Tucked away in quiet street in Pyrmont, hidden from the street is this little joint that is definitely not quiet in flavours !!
Had the recommended signature Grand Central - fluffy buttery brioche bun, chive scrambled egg, crazy delicious caramelized onion, Swiss cheese and pastrami - BOOM !
Very reasonably priced as well at $11 - if pastrami is not your thing, bacon or corned beef is also available to go into your Grand Central.

Love love love this place. Delicious, simple, quality comfort food and it's bloody good value for money with $2 coffees in the morning! Try the scramble and onion on brioche (best brioche I've ever had).
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1581189205514275&id=1561713330795196
