Excellent service! Excellent cocktails! Excellent food! Staff are Awesome! They will make any cocktails on request and the quality of the food was A1! I recommend the crème caramel. You can watch the kitchen while sitting at the bar which was very entertaining and reassuring. Such a pleasant comfortable relaxing vibe at this place.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. The range of cocktails is great. I had a classic (Mai Tai) and one of the specials and both were great. My friend had 2 different ones and enjoyed hers too. Definitely will come back.

Hired Soultrap for a 1020s themed 40th birthday party, with live music and dancing. Elliot and his team were awesome to work with from the first booking enquire through to the end of the night. Really made organising the party fun and easy. It the perfect space for a private party with a great cocktail list, all you can eat pizza adoption and more. Everyone told us they had an absolute blast, and we certainly did. Everything was just perfect, just what we were after.

Lovely little bar down some stairs, with very extensive list of cocktails and a nice easy menu. Nice chill vibes, friendly crowd and lovely staff. What more could you want?!

Hosted a birthday party at Soultrap and it was a fantastic experience end to end. Elliot was responsive, accomodating, and so helpful every step of the way. The pizzas were fresh and delicious and the cocktails were amazing. The venue has a great underground speakeasy vibe, and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. Would definitely keep Soultrap in mind for future events!

Elliot and the team were incredible at organising our engagement party for 50+ people. I was able to decorate the place as I wanted, had a personalised playlist, coordinator on the day, fully staffed and very well trained and nice bar staff. They went above and beyond for us doing custom cocktails and accommodating every guest with special demands. I have reached out to a dozen very renowned places in Sydney, but Elliot was the only one who followed up in a timely manner and made it personalised and authentic. Their pricing is fair and I was even able to partially bring some of my own alcohol and pay the corkage fee. They are great and we will definitely return there. Highly recommend!

After a lot of uncertainty with on and off again Covid restrictions we managed to hold the event on the day scheduled thanks to a lot of pre planning working closely with Elliot. The day was extremely memorable and everything went to plan. Really friendly helpful staff and a lot of effort put in to ensure the night was special for myself and my guests. Thanks to Elliot and all the staff at Soultrap for keeping in regular communication leading up to the event and pleasant courteous customer service of the highest level on the night. I would thoroughly recommend Soultrap Bar as the venue to strongly consider for your next function and it will be my first choice if I ever have an event again in the future, Thanks Soultrap team.

I had my 40th at Soultrap last weekend and have nothing but praise for Elliot and his team - my friends and I had a very fun and memorable night. At all steps along the way, Elliot was a total pro and really stood by his commitment to unique and playful adult birthday parties. I'd never organised an event as large as this let alone a birthday party of my own but the planning stages were a perfect balance of my imagination being allowed to run wild and Elliot's wise and supportive suggestions when I wasn't sure which way to go. I loved being able to have playlists of my own, to decorate the bar as I wanted, a personalised cocktail list, and my friends and I really loved the photobooth. Elliot was always quick to respond to my messages and he and his team's organisation and willingness to help with setup on the day freed me up to relax and have a good time from the start. The venue itself is beautiful and would suit a range of different uses. The drinks menu is great and includes interesting and tasty cocktails and the food (charcuterie boards and pizzas) was delicious too. A hidden gem in Surry Hills which I wholeheartedly recommend.
The Next Rush
It’s the underground bar that’s hosting some of the city’s coolest rumbles and quirky events. From Whiskey and Scotch rumbles to dating nights, burlesque and classical music, it’s the brainchild of two navy servicemen.  Our recent visit to the Irish Whisky rumble was a great excuse to celebrate the finest in celtic malt and knock back a few.

Soultrap is a cool bar located in Surry Hills. With a widely stocked bar, they have a great range of cocktails too. If you’re hungry, there’s plenty of charcuterie boards to select from. We visited Soul trap on this occasion for their Whiskey event. This kicked off their first of many whiskey events to come. We visited their Irish Whiskey Rumble hosted by Whisky Enlightenment. This was a whiskey event like no other, including an appearance by Connor McGregor, through his whiskey label Proper 12. The event was a battle to determine which whiskey would reign supreme. Certainly an enlightening experience for those new to whiskey or not; with information on each of the eight different bottles and the distilleries that produce them.

A casual dining place with good food. The decor is a little different though. But overall the place is just fine for a casual hangout. The service was good as well.

<br/>The bartender who served us that night made the best old fashioned 👌🏻<br/>Their charcuterie board was more than enough for two, with hefty servings of cheese. <br/>Overall my experience in Soultrap was wholesome and romantic, and I’ll be definitely coming back.

We got the charcuterie board and cheese board, and both were absolutely amazing. Both had a good range of cheeses and meats, accompanied by dips and bread. We ordered the philly cheese steak and was told we’d have to wait half an hour as the kitchen was still preparing the meat. An hour had passed, and still no philly cheese steak. We were then told by another waiter that the meat wouldn't be ready until at least an hour later...so that was super disappointing. The second waiter was super nice so I guess that made up for the disappointment caused.  Would give this place a solid 3.5/5 if it was possible.
