Review The Naked Duck - Sydney

A great find near my office. Gluten Free toast was not the best if I’m honest, but the coffee was excellent, quick service and clean 🧼 shop. This will be the best place to come for lunch in summer as it’s very breezy and open, lots of space on the shade to sit. See you again tomorrow!

A pop up before the actual cafe opens, pumps out coffee constantly. Very limited menu, i opted for the House-made granola served with fresh berries, yoghurt and honey for $9.50. Pretty exy but pretty yummy.

A lovely stop to your busy day; the Naked Duck offers just what you need to keep your day going with a tasty selection of coffees, lattes, and blended drinks. If you're looking for a light breakfast or a quick lunch, thier handmade granola is a definite must! Pair it with one of the blended juices (I had the Mellow Yellow) for a fresh and filling meal!

Went there for a business meeting with the team for breaky. Nice place, good service, my Bircher muesli was delicious and loved it. A small thing to mention, I hadn't finished eating and the waitress took my plate away :( I didn't say anything to her as I was busy discussing something with my team. She could've asked. Anyway, will be back again soon for coffee and breaky.

Loved the breakfast. Vegetarian options available too. The presentation service and food quailty is all there. Loved the coffee too. Long que but super efficient staff makes the wait very short. Definitely coming back next week for another breakfast here...

Always busy, but fast with the coffee.

I was very happy with my little cappuccino and blueberry muffin. They arrived fast, with a smile and we're very tasty.

Hidden away little eatery that surprises you with how big it is inside, the variety on the menu, and the interesting atmosphere. Friendly efficient service, the food is nice tasting and reasonable value. Worth a try if you can find it.

Tried their coffee and really liked the blend.Tried their muffins as well. They were really good.Coming back to try other items on the menu.

The staff are friendly and lovely but what we ordered was probably the worst food I have had to date. I ordered the beef pie with roasted vegetables and Asian slaw (pictured). The filling of the pie was dry and the pastry undercooked. The roasted vegetables were just roasted soggy potatoes. The Asian slaw was drowned in soy sauce and there were bits of dried apricots scattered through it. My friend’s spicy chicken (pictured) was dry and the flavour strange. Never again!

I was disappointed with my piccolo this morning, super weak, and I didn’t even asked for week piccolo... 🤣.
Cafe is super busy around 9.30 ish and there was confusion regarding people who actually queuing in line and people who already ordered and waiting to get their takeaway.

Their coffee can definitely rise me up! Their service is fast and definitely is a good choice in the CBD if you just wanna have a quick bite.

Few seatings are available and I always grab a breakfast when I was working nearby.

Rubbish service, stood on crutches for 20 minutes waiting for takeaway as they lost the order, then still took ages to redo it. Burger was so soggy fell apart , chips were burnt and the oil hadn't been replaced in years.

Ordered on ‘hey you’ but when I was there I felt like having the food inside rather than take it up to the office. Staff said they can’t put it on a plate if I ordered it on hey you and the coffee only comes in take away cups as well when ordered through the app. Wasn’t flexible and I will go to Piccolo Me around the corner for all future brekkis and coffees...

Its a little busy on the street but its a good setting with good breakfast and a good coffee that i had it was nice. I would definitely sit here again.

In my opinion a lot of potential that's not lived up to the price tag associated with it. Service is pretty fast and good for seating with a friendly smile. For mine the break down is around the food and can be stale at times depending on how much traffic came through

I ordered a large takeaway Cappuccino $3.70. Tastes better than the Nespresso we have at work. The girl at the counter asked for my name after i gave her my credit card (ATTENTION TO DETAIL) Let's blame that it's Monday monring...toilet is located on level 19.

I came here for a work lunch. We were seated straight away and received great service from the wait staff. I had the pulled pork burger it was filling and delicious and not too heavy. My colleagues had the duck and chicken burgers. Our food came out within in minutes so we had time to talk work after eating whilst finishing our drinks.

Quite a tasty lunch here today. Asian slaw was delicious and preferred over the sweet potato salad. The spicy chicken was tender and tasty although not spicy enough for me. The piccolo was pretty good with a strong robust flavour.

Had a client here this week, so stopped by to give this kitchen a quick taste tester. Seemed like an open spacious and a very popular place for queues with people ordering before heading up the lifts. Nothing amazing with the service, though I found the price of $3.20 for my small cappuccino (1 sugar) a pleasant surprise, because to me that's below the average of your typical $3.50.

Had the coffee, examined for TTT (taste, texture and temperature), and all those boxes were ticked in my books, so it was a decent coffee. Would try the food another time hopefully! :)

I was expecting a bit more from the Naked Duck. It's a great location with plenty of seating and open space lending itself to a welcoming feel. My breakfast, as good as it looked lacked a little punch with the lack of seasoning particularly noticeable as I worked my way through it. No table service ordering was a surprise also.

I had the Confit Duck Burger and it was excellent.
Duck was perfect, bun crispy with a soft centre and the Asian salad / Hoisin sauce spot on in quantity and flavour.
Accompanying it with a salted caramel milkshake made for a big lunch but not so large that I was overwhelmed to the point of a food coma.
Highly recommended.

I have to say this cafe is in a great position and the food is fantastic. I had the burger here and it was delicious.

The service was great. The staff are really friendly and polite.

The coffee is great to.
I would have really quite liked this cafe if it hadn't been for the very ordinary service. Despite that, my takeaway lunch was very good - loved the chicken pie and sweet potato salad- and the seating offered some nice airy options in the heart of the CBD.

I had the Confit Duck Burger and freshly squeezed apple juice. The food came out quickly and was tasty as always. Service was speedy too. Would recommend to eat here.

Haven’t as yet tried the other lunch menu offerings, but the ‘signature’ rolls haven’t made it easy to build a case for further exploration of the menu.
