Review Cafe 70 - Sydney

Rattan Muttoo
Great spot for a coffee or fresh juice.. didn't try the food but looked delicious. There's loads of seating and the owners are really friendly so definitely give the place a try

Great attitude, friendly, good food, excellent value for money. What a pleasant surprise - I only went in because the manager smiled warmly and said good morning as I happened to be walking past. I had the breakie wrap ($9), delicious, huge and loaded with fresh quality ingredients, bacon, eggs, lettuce and Spanish onion. Stephen

Met with my daughter who had randomly chosen the cafe as it was near her work. It wasn't really the food I was hoping to eat so I ordered the corn fritters not expecting much but to my surprise, I was blown away by how delicious they were along with the beautiful home made relish. All this was helped by delightful staff who made you feel very welcome. But really food says it all and mine was excellent. Thank you Cafe 70

Staff here are always kind, polite and friendly, as well as courteous. The food is reasonably priced and very affordable, as well as delicious. I would recommend it to anyone in the area who is looking for a quick bite to eat or who wants to chill with a coffee and a paper.

I go here often and Aneel and all the staff are fantastic , there's a beautiful court yard where you can have meetings and just fantastic food , properly made by experienced chefs - NOT YOUR AVERAGE CAFE. If you're looking for a slice of toast for 2 bucks, go elsewhere, if you want a delicious feed and a beautifully made coffee , say hi to Aneel and go.to cafe 70!!!!

Had the Chorizo baked egg dish for breakfast and it was DEVINE - well portioned for two people (there was three or us) ..coming back later for the dumplings tho - there is a sit down area out the back - go around the side! Owner even did a โ€œthe Rockโ€ mini dance impressions as part of the meal service. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Best prices in central Sydney! Such a friendly service. I've been there when it first opened and was positively surprised when I came back 4 months later! Still the same quality, service and prices! Highly recommend the Avi on toast with fetta cheese! And the juice as well. Coffe is great and I love the small garden in the back.

This is the friendliest cafe in Surry Hills with fantastic food. I eat here a few times a week and it's always amazing. Try the home made dumplings or home smoked trout. Courtyard in the back too.

Best coffee, always hot and even greater customer service. Small little cafe in Surry Hills but the owner is incredibly friendly. They even have wifi which is a nice little bonus.

I don't want to leave a negative review just after one coffee but the coffee is not for me I am afraid. Firstly It's weak, a bit like drinking cappuccino flavoured milk. Then there is a strange indescribable after taste which I'm not sure is from the milk, coca powder sprinkled on top or the coffee beans? It left a taste so unpleasant that the coffee ended up in the bin after only a few sips.

I didn't try the food, maybe they are an improvement to the coffee.
