Seems to be under a new management - the team is great - really fun and friendly - very service focused which is a breath of fresh air in the sydney cbd.
food is surprisingly amazing - fresh pastas are pretty damn good - pappardelle with summer tomatoes was incredible - will def make this my new fave spot

Loved the tacos here for Taco Tuesday - $3 a taco! The bulgogi one is by far the stand out! Great vibes on a weeknight - would definitely come back :)
Cant go wrong with taco tuesdays at $3 each! The fish tacos are suppperb! Could defs eat 3 of them in a row. A range of others to also select from. Good service.
Good food and great value with happy hour menu which he’s on until 7pm. I had the salmon which was good portioned. Happy hour wines at $7. Free wifi too which helps. Not open on weekends unfortunately.
What a gem. Here with a Groupon and had a really memorable meal that I did not expect given I Cook well. Coming back!

This cosy restaurant is located on Bligh Street. With a large bar set to the right side when you walk in, the tables are set up on the left near the window as well as at the back. There were a few large groups and since the tables were tightly packed in, the table we had seemed to be the thoroughfare to the these other tables and felt like we were in the way. Noise levels can get quite loud in here too so not too conducive for conversation.
Service is pretty good and the once you're settled in, they're quite efficient at serving the tables. There was a gap in between receiving my meal and the side and my friend getting their meal.
It was forgiven once we received our dishes. We had ordered the Torn Hanger Steak, Braised Lamb Shoulder, and Roasted Baby Carrots. The steak was cooked medium rare and served with a fresh rocket salad. Quite tasty. The lamb was melt in the mouth and came with eggplant purée, tomato, olives, feta, and mint. The carrots were great. Loved the pomegranate seeds and almonds with it. Tahini provided a lovely texture to it.
TACO TUESDAY!! Contrabando are currently taking over the kitchen with $3 tacos every Tuesday while they're renovating. By far the best tacos I have had in AUS! Make sure you wash them down with a delicious margarita 🌮🍸
The Wolf Wine Bar food is superb and the service admirable, especially considering the level of patrons in attendance. While the venue is in the finance area of the CBD the patronage was from all walks of life. If it was open on the weekends I would definitely be in there for the breakfast. From what we ate I could be nothing but impressed.

Relaxed beautiful setting in the heart of the CBD. Service was unbelievable, greeted with a warm welcome and seated straight away. Food was excellent , the set menu is a good way to taste 5 filling dishes and leave feeling satisfied. Highly recommend this awesome place !!
One of the best pasta dishes I ever had was at The Wolf - the angel hair pasta with sand whiting was to die for
Great Happy Hour and the 'bacon fat' fries so good
My wife and I just got home from a relaxed night out. We don't come often in the city, and today we tried The Wolf for some drinks and food.
We followed some of the recommendations (mid priced, not the more expensive dishes/wines like some other places do) from our waiter and absolutely loved it. The wine was exactly as described and went perfect with our meal. So many venues base recommendations purely on prices and the waitstaff have no clue about the dish or wine.
I forgot to leave a tip and wanted to say thanks for the good service.
We will definitely come back!
We were rushed before a show at the Opera house, the kitchen was open at 5.30 BONUS. Then the service was freindly and efficient (a hard combination to get right), the ambience was quiet, darkish and comfortable and being a Monday not crowded. Was. better than the photos on their site.
To top it all off the wine was diverse both in variety and prices. And the food was fast and delicious. 5pm happy hour with 25% off the bottle +++
Highly recommend.
We got to the show on time.
Definitely recommend and will return.
