AMAZING Peruvian food and extremely friendly and helpful staff. During my first visit I tried the beef hearts and fish ceviche (which they made extra spicy for me!). I will definitely be back to try more! Wonderful atmosphere inside as well. Thanks for a good visit!

Service was lovely. We asked for suggestions to try and the waiter was very friendly in making suggestions. The ambience was lovely too. We couldn't make it to Peru due to covid lockdown so we decided to try the cuisine in Sydney. Everything we had was super tasty! The only con is probably the ceviche. It had wonderful flavours, but the fish was rubbery and the texture made it slightly hard to eat. Our butter Knives struggled to cut through it... but we will still be back to try more on the menu. The tuna cake and the chicken potato stew with rice was great.

If you want authentic peruvian food you have have found the promised land! In a country starving for authentic Latin cuisine La Hacienda Peru fills those shoes wonderfully. They also have one of the most substantial Peruvian groceries in all of Australia so come in for some delicious Lomo Saltado washed down with a Inca Kola look no further.

Not too bad, very tasty ceviche and Leche de Tigre, but from a Latina neighbour that has tried Peruvian food in Perú, they have a lot of improvement opportunities for resembling the real Peruvian experience such as fish quality, service standards, and price/size-quality ratio.
Especially with the Leche de Tigre, I expected much more juice than just a kind of ceviche in a glass.
It would be beneficial and a great plus if they put Piscosour written in the menú, more welcoming/friendly staff and EFTPOS system.
I would not recommend it 🥲 except you are a very nostalgic Latin/Peruvian person❤️
Lovely kitchen ladies tho 🥰

As soon as you walk through the door you feel like you're in Peru. Very authentic Peruvian restaurant and the flavours are there, feel a bit like home to me. I would definitely go back and take friends there so they can have a small taste of Peru.
On top of that, they have a mini market where you can stock up on some nice Peruvian goodies ❤️

Would the people trust the Australian Hygiene standards practiced in La Hacienda?
Does this practice pass the NSW Health standard regarding the Hygiene of a restaurant?
As for me, this is unacceptable standard of hygiene, he was getting the tables ready for customers the next day. To me as a customer this is unacceptable and a very unprofessional way to clean a venue that customers rely on hygiene standards to be optimum.
La Hacienda- better get some advise from NSW Health Department, as it’s unacceptable and disgusting.
I do not TRUST you hygiene and I wonder if you practicing safe standards in your kitchen?

I am yet to try the restaurant but if you're looking for somewhere you can buy your favourite Peruvian products such as Flun, Mazamorra, Chicha Morada, Doña Pepa, Inca Cola and so much more then this place has it all. It's almost like being back in Peru at a corner store for a moment. The owners are also kind Peruvians who are very nice to talk to.

Good food and great service. It felt very Peruvian with the music in the background and the style of the restaurant. Excellent restaurant if you wanna be transported into another culture. Empanadas were soo goooddd with the chilli sauce. Can't go wrong when you pair that with Inca Cola.
