I've been going to this place for almost a year and loved every time I go there. Yet, today I asked one of the ladies that I will set outside and wait for my coffee, I kept waiting and waiting nothing came up until I had to go inside again and pick up my espresso. Also one of the cake part of it wasn't there on display. Hope you accept my constructive feedback and keep up the great work ladies!

Great little coffee shop/bakery/patisserie in Pyrmont. Same owners as Boronia Bake House in Boronia Park.
They serve great coffee with 3 different blends depending upon your taste.
They also have fresh bread, delicious pies and cakes. They have a lot of cakes abs pastries and can buy on the day. The gf carrot cake is exceptional!
Also enjoy a cheeky cheese and bacon roll.

I've only had their coffee, but it's always so quickly and deliciously made, they even stir the sugar into the coffee shot before adding the milk, which makes a huge difference for me. Lovely efficient staff, I go here most mornings. They are even great when we order 30+ coffees for the entire office, never an issue with the order and they are so quick that none of them go cold due to the volume ordered.

A lovely gourmet bakery with delicious cakes and tarts. A clean and inviting premise. The strawberry sponge cake is light, fluffy and lovely. Perfect for afternoon tea.

One of the best cafes on Harris St, if not the friendliest. The staff are really nice, and helpful. There are a lot of items to choose from, and they never rush you along if undecided. They make some great pies, which we have tried a few varieties of. Also, some of the best cupcakes I've had in a while, and I would love to have an ocassion to order one of their cakes!

Pricey but very yummy cakes here. Picked up two for some board meetings and thry were both impressively attractive amd delicious. The early open hours are handy.

We come here sometimes to get birthday cakes for colleagues. Good selection of classic cakes like black forest gateau, chocolate mousse cake, cheesecake etc. and they've always gone down a treat. You won't get super fancy looking adventurous cakes or anything (you can go to Zumbo at the Star if you're looking for those) but you'll get lovely familiar treats.
The space is light, airy and quaint, décor is reminiscent of a French café bakery. There's a small seating area at the back and a few tables and chairs outside. Staff are always friendly and pleasant.

Amazing coffee and sweets. We hosted our first book club here in the back room, perfect spot for thoughtful get togethers or just some quiet me-time.

Been a few times to this cafe. I bought a sticky date cake once for my friends birthday it was delicious. I had a few of the tarts too very nice. However the price is ridiculous and not worthy. Today i went for a sausage roll it was marked as $4.10 and i was charged $5.80. I was looking at the meat pies but they looked very dry and this was at 8:30am. The sausage roll i bought was very salty. Won’t be coming back.

Nice and cosy place for meetings and coffee. A super plus is their mini pastries that remove all guilt. Also the choice of coffee is a welcome feature. Strong brews for morning sharpness, mild for the afternoons and medium for everything else.

Nice little bakery/cafe for a quick bite. The decor is quite french and along with the name one would expect it to be a more refined patisserie selling beautiful desserts. However, the food is more for takeaway and sells a range of baked goods from pastries to pies and sausage rolls. You can also sit and have a cup of coffee with your baked goods. Personally I am not someone for something too sweet and most of the cake slices and pastries were a bit too sweet for me. I always come here for the scones and they are probably the best in town in terms of price and quality. If you get there and theere are no scones left, it is probably me who bought the whole batch or the last one 😂😂. Served with cream and jam, toasted, it is certainly very delicious. Would recommend for a quick bite or a relaxing break.
** UPDATE: they have increased the prices om the scones. Used to be $1.4 but now $2.2, cream from 30c to 70c. Not at all expensive for scones but considering they increased the price by 80% for scones and 120% for cream with the scones same/smaller, less cream, it's a bit disapointing. The main problem really is that the wholemeal ones don't taste the same anymore. It's sad that they changed it and I won't be frequenting there anymore.

A French-inspired bakery cafe located on the corner of Union and Harris Street with a wide choice of pastries, petite cakes, pies and other pretty edibles. There was an extraordinarily long wait for the takeaway coffee, but Banquerie redeemed itself with its flaky raisin scroll.

Tried this place not so long after it opened, was excited to see something new open here & was hoping it could be our new go to dessert place. We tried a few things, a few little tarts & a brownie - took a bite or 2 on all of them and tasted like they have been in the fridge for a while and dried out. I do not know how that was possible considering we went there within the first week of opening.

Had some friends that bought us a cake a few days ago as a thank you, I think it was called caramel & hazelnut cake. It looked very appealing, sliced it, took a bite and the cake also tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for about a week or 2, sponge was dry. Had to throw the cake away as it just was not nice to eat. Such a waste. It is so sad, this place needs to sell more fresher desserts, with Zumbo's down the road, you need to step up your game.

Not game to try a 3rd time. If I find the pic of the other desserts I will post up too.

I stumbled upon this GEM after a stroll along Darling Harbour in the morning. Banquerie is a beautiful, little French-inspired café with a specialist selection of coffee. There are papers to read, cool staff to chat to and I loved the single origin (Kenyan) espresso and passionfruit-chocolate macaron - truly a great place!

Walking home from pyrmont I needed water so I popped in here to grab a few bottles. Got caught up in the display cabinet and ended up buying a burnt caramel tart as well. Was nice. First bite pulled all the centre filling out hough as if it was a gelatinous disc. Wouldn't rush back for the tart.

Ordered their carrot cake. First mouth was a little too dense. They seemed to make it in a way like a raw carrot cake. But overly if you like a more dense cake. This is good. The cream taste alright too.
