Tai Wong offers a delightful soy chicken, red cooked pork and other barbecued meats. But the best is the magnificent barbecued duck. Sweet, crispy skin, luxurious flesh. The aroma of the duck will get anyone’s taste buds sparkling. Worth a stop. And it’s been serving these foods since … I don’t know when, but it’s been many years now.

Sensational BBQ Roast Duck. I had their value lunch rice box, roast pork and BBQ duck with rice and steamed greens. Great value and deliciously satisfying. The duck was juicy with great flavour. The pork had crispy crackling and juicy flavoursome meat.
They primarily provides wholesale Chinese BBQ meats to restaurants but have a shop front to serve the public. Thus seating options are serverly limited to one table in the corner coupled with a few seats. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a delicious and quick take away meal or you want to get some Chinese BBQ meats to take home.
They have been in Haymarket since I can remember. My family (restauranteurs) have been getting our BBQ Roast Duck and Roast Pork from Tai Wong for over 30 years.

Across from Capitol Theatre draped along the windows of Tai Wong are glorisous caramel toned skin of duck inviting punters in for their barbecue selection of poultry and pork. A hearty range of dishes available in various configurations range from $11- $14 and the standard procedure for every barbecue place visited in the area is the combination of roast pork with crackling and duck! It’s luck of the draw sometimes and on this occassion, lucky enough to get a cut of the breast. There’s a sauce that is drizzled which brings the bland rice to life off set with the crunch of the chinese greens.

The typical Chinese BBQ set up, this one around Thai town. The char siew is tasty, if a little sweet. The duck is good but roast port is probably the pick. It's great when you get just what you expect (and feel like)
